For the third time in as many minutes Felipe Vila Nova checked the slip of paper he held clasped in his left hand. Before he'd left home the paper had been crisp and flawless. Now all it resembled was a dog's chew toy. He could still make out the writing, though. The room where he was to initially report and the locker number he'd been assigned whilst temporaril at Gould School. Neither snippets of information were a hell of a lot of help, though, as a) he hadn't a clue where the room was located and b) all the damned loclkers looked alike. Add to that the fact that the hallways were heaving with other kids tring to find their own lockers and Felipe began to feel as if he was trying to swim upstream in a river made entirely out of molasses.
Locker 169... How hard could it be to track that down?
Close on impossible apparently.
Felipe had clung to the hope he'd see Jessica this morning but amongst the throng of faces it was equally impossible to find hers. He could still hope, though.
He looked at the piece of paper for a 4th time and frowned slightly. Hopefully his sister would be having more luck in finding her way around but right now Felipe was about as lost as it was possible for a person to get.

Okay last night is a night Fallon would rather forget. She spent most of it being yelled at for a number of things. Not to mention how Fallon and the others came home, was interesting. Fal had been in a freaked out state and could barely sleep the whole night. All Fal did was rock herself saying crazy nonsense all night. That's what happened to her when she forgot her meds. She had these states. Fal remembered her medication this morning and although she still felt a little out of it she was okay. For now. However, Sandra and her mother had been not very happy to see Fallon come hone in a manic state. It was never easy to deal with.
Fall weaved and zigged and zagged her way through the crowd. Could these be anymore people at this school she wondered. Right now Fal actually would have rather been at home for once. She was not feeling good and wanted to stay in bed. Perhaps it was the lack of sleep, but you never could tell with Fallon. All she knew was she was grounded from now until she was married. Okay not really, but Fal did not know what her punishment was. Sandra and mom had been too upset with the three of them and had gone to bed claiming they would talk tomorrow.
Fallon rounded a corner and was still trying to make her way through the mess of people when someone bumped her rather hard. Not their fault at all. Fal could not blame what happened on anyone but the over crowding of the school. She looked up at the guy and he was gorgeous to say the least. Fal blushed and smiled at the man. He was so hot. Then again Fal thought alot of guys were super hot. She was a teenage girl after all. "Hi...sorry about that. Its a hazard out here. Now is the time they need either traffic lights or someone directing traffic." She said with a laugh, "I am Fallon...Gould student at your service and you would be?" She held out her hand.

Felipe smiled down at the dark-haired girl, head listing a little to one side. One hand rose to clutch - overl-dramatically - at his shirt front in the general area of his heart. "My saviour!" he declared. "I thought my day was going to pass with me roaming the corridors in an endless search for locker 169." he laughed slightly. "I am Felipe Vila Nova and it is a great pleasure to meet you, Fallon. I am supposed to be starting today at Silver but it seems rats have decreed I come here instead. The other school is closed for the duration of ridding it of the creatures but for myself, I am glad for the rats as it meant fate saw us collide." He winked at Fallon and added a broad grin for good measure... just to make absolutely sure she knew he was flirting with her and in a joking manner. He'd hate her to think him to be some kind of South American sleaze. He reached out and gripped her hand between both of his.
"Can you show me how to find this locker? I am sharing it with... Vic someone. I can't remember his last name, though." He shrugged a little ruefully, mentally damning his bad recall. He should have memorised the name. "I would be eternally in your debt..." he added in hope.

Fallon smiled, "I guess it is true what they say. Fate works in mysterious ways." She said looking at Felipe. His accent was out of this world and it just added to the physical attraction Fallon felt. She felt her cheeks turn another shade of crimson when he grabbed her hand. She refrained from letting out a girlish giggle that would make her sound like a total immature little kid. "No offense, but the rumor around here is that Silver is cursed. This is the second time Gould has opened its doors to Silver students. Last time was due to an earthquake. But I promise I will help make you feel right at home until Silver is no longer infested." She said as she began to walk, "Right this way."
Fallon started to walk toward locker 169. Flirting never hurt anyone. "Vic Webber....I know him. He is a good guy, has a pet spider which is a tad creepy, but overall he might seem a bit scary but he is harmless. My older sister knows him and if she is cool with Vic then I assure you, you have nothing to worry about. But if for some reason you do worry, just come find me...I have yet to meet my locker mate. I am beginning to think he or she does not exist."
She laughed when he talked about being in her debt, "Be careful what words you use good sir....for I just might make you repay that debt by making you my royal servant.." She laughed to show she was joking. "Its okay really. No need to be in my debt. its my pleasure to help you. I have to show that Gould is hospital to Silver students and that all this talk of a school war is silly."

Felipe laughed along with Fallon. "If so then I would simply call you 'minha princesa pequena' instead..." He glanced at the locker. "It wasn't so far all the time," he added. ""The two schools fight, though? That could make for an interesting time here! But as for being cursed... " Felipe's left eyebrow lifted slightly. "I don't see this as anything such as that. We might never have met otherwise, minha princesa." He dug a key out of his pocket. "Now, let's hope the spider doesn't live inside here..." Hopefully he'd be able to meet Vic later on at some stage. It would be odd sharing the locker with him without meeting face to face.
He opened the door and peered warily into the locker. "Nope... all clear." He pushed his books onto a lower shelf, not wanting to get in the way of the locker's rightful owner. "I have only met three people since arriving in town and each one has been so friendly. You, Shane and Jessica." He smiled down at Fallon. "The gods have looked kindly on me indeed. Do you know either of them? I don't know Shane's last name but Jessica's is Pruitte. I am supposed to meet Jessica today... if I can. Somehow I have a feeling it will be like trying to find a pin in a stack of hay!"

Fallon smiled when he mentioned the name he was going to call her, "And are you going to tell me what 'minha princesa pequena' means or am I going to have to wonder forever if its a good or bad name...." Fal said eyed him. "I am going to trust you and go with good." After all Princesa did sound like Princess to her and she was very Happy with that. "Now I need a nickname for you...." Fal looked him over and smiled. Not sure why she picked the name she did but it just came to her. "Eros....thats what I am going to call you...after all you did talk about fate...so...kind of fits In a way...I have a weird mind and I can make weird connections." Fate and the God of Love...there was a connection there according to Fal, but she might be the only one who sees it. Thats assuming this guy knows who Eros was. Not many people knew that much about Greek mythology. Then again Fallon was a nut about mythology.
"No I hate to say I do not know them...do you know if they attend Gould? Cause if they do I might recognize them." She offered, "Oh the schools don't physically fight or anything. Its more a battle of school spirit. Gould students have to support Gould and Silver students have to support Silver. Its friendly sort of thing....I hope..." She had to think about that a moment. She eyed Vic's locker. It seemed to scream Vic. Then again she barely knew the guy but still. "I like the way you say that....pin in a stack of hay...it sounds so much better then a needle in a haystack..although if you think about it...even though the saying implies its touch to find something or someone, technically a needle or a pin should stand out in a haystack."

"I will tell you what is means... one day," Felipe replied with a grin. "But its a good name... trust me. As for Eros... " He shrugged slightly. "I think I can live with that nickname. Wasn't he a fertility deity?" he asked with an all too fake 'innocent' look on his face. "I think both Shane and Jessica attend the other school, the same as I am supposed to do but Jessica mentioned she was here before... the last time the two schools had to share. I'm glad there's no actual fighting though!" he quickly added. "Eros makes love... not war... right?" he ended with a short laugh and one lifted eyebrow. He pondered her last comment and had to agree. "All you would need is a magnet... yes? Then you wouldn't have to search as the pin would come to you!" Felipe reached into the locker once more and pulled out a couple of books. "Now all I need to do is find this room..." He frowned down at the crumpled piece of paper. He'd been given a timetable for his proper school but the letter also told him that didn't take effect at Gould. To say he was confused would be a complete understatement. His first lesson was supposed to be Government but here was it the same class? Or something different? Would he be taking part in a Gould class or one solely for Silver students?
"Ah, I see. Silver students meet in the assembly hall first." He breathed a sigh of relief. "How hard can a place of that size be to locate, huh?" He bowed his head slightly. "Thank you, minha princesa pequena... Without you I would surely still be looking for this locker!"

"And what pray tell must I do for you to tell me what the name means...." Fal asked with a flirtatious tone. Flirting was harmless. Besides who knew if she would even see Felipe after today. Sure she wanted to, but Gould was a big school even with the Silver kids. He was not kidding when he said finding Jessica would be like a pin in stack of hay...Fal still found that saying adorable. She would need to remember it, "Well if Jessica was her before I might recognize her if I saw her, but I admit I am not the most social person. Usually I am sitting in some corner drawing." lost in her own world of fantasy.
"Well you could say he is a fertility diety.....love tends to lead to fertility thats for sure." An interesting take on Eros, which was good. "Do you know Greek mythology well...or was that just luck that you knew Eros...you would be surprised how many people look at me like I am crazy when I mention people like Athena, Zeus, Muses and the furies." She said naming off some popular people in Greek mythology.
"You read my mind. I was just about to say that..." It was true. Fal always figured if you used a magnet then a needle or pin would have to come to you considering it magnetic. So it would make sense and was logical. At least in Fal's mind and apparently Felipe's too. Which was surprising and good. Looks like Fal was not the only one who thought in a different way.
"The assembly room,. you mean the auditorium." Oh he has no idea what he was in for. The poor guy. "Well actually it's...umm...you have too...I am trying to thinking of the least confusing way to tell you how to get there, but either way sounds confusing. Why don't I just show you. Its near my first class. besides there is safety in numbers these days. Supposedly this school is having an issue with gangs...if only everyone could be like Eros and make love not war." She said with a cute smile as she spoke his words back to him.

"I love anything mythological," he replied. "Greek, Roman, Incan, Mayan... all of those and more. Viking and Celtic histories are among my favourites," he added, "... so no, I don't think you're crazy, minha princesa." Felipe threw in a bright smile for good measure as he spoke.
"Ah... auditorium," he repeated slowly. Committing that strange word to his memory wasn't going to be easy and so he'd write it down as soon as he got the chance. "But are you sure you don't mind showing me where it is? I would hate for you to get into trouble for being late on my account. That said, I will undoubtedly still be searching for this... auditorium when the final bell sounds otherwise!"
They fell into step together with Ana telling him about gang trouble. "We have a lot of gang problems in São Paulo," he told her. "Co-ordinated gangs, which are even worse than smaller groups working alone. Just before I left there 81 people had recently been killed. Burning buses, attacking banks, police patrol cars and petrol stations. It's said to be backed by gang-leaders in jail. I'm sure its not quite that bad here at school... is it? I hope not, anyway!"

Okay perhaps this was being stereotypical, but hot guys like Felipe did not like Mythological things. Fal knew she should never judge a book by its cover but she could not help but be amazed, "Well then you are the second guy I have met that likes mythology. Its nice to know I have fellow myth lovers in the world. I have always been fascinated by the stories and how people lived like that back them. Imagine believing in many gods. I use read all sorts of books about mythology." As well as books about fairies, princess's and prince's....oh yeah Fal was into all of that, but she would not admit to it all. She smiled back at him. "it helps when you can't sleep to either draw or read." Besides that one summer she spent in the mental hospital had been boring and all she had were books.
"Oh don't worry about me and my class. I know all the short cuts at this school. Besides trouble is nothing new to me. I am always in trouble." At home anyway so that really was nothing new to her. "Once you learn how to navigate the school its easy to make it to your class room in about three minutes. Besides a few seconds late has never gotten me in trouble before, so come on follow me." Fal gave him a friendly smile and motioned for him to follow with her hand.
"Umm I am sure the gang violence is nothing to worry about. They just want us to watch out for it. No big deal. I just thought I would warn you. I can't imagine what gangs could do at a school, especially one full of witnesses. I bet we are all safe." Or so Fal hoped anyway. "Wow I can't believe you lived through all that..it sounds horrbile...were you ever a victim of the violence.
