Jeffrey thought for a moment. "I would love to try a live one." Why not. He had nothing better to do. He listened to the two talk about Firefly and Serenity. He had heard about those shows, but could never get into them.
After they had finished, he replied back to her question about Buck Rogers. "Well, it's about a 1980's astronaut who get's frozen and woken up in the 25th century. By this time, Earth had it's nasty holocaust war and they are out and about in space." Jeffrey took a breath. "To make a long story short, Buck ends up becoming a hero to them and he helps them try and locate the lost people of Earth who were scattered through out the universe. It's really interesting, but I have been watching it since I can remember." Jeffrey was never very good at explaining movies or such to people. He usually forgot something or jumped ahead of the plot, in any case, he probably lost her interest in it. He decided to change the subject. "When does this RP meet?"

Jeffrey's reply to Felipe's question about blade of choice was more than enough to cause a frown to surface. Whatever I prefer? That made absolutely no sense at all as every fencer had their favoured weapon be that a sabre, epee or a foil. A true fencer never used the word 'sword' in reference to their weapon and Feklipe only spoke of it that way when trying to make people see he meant sword-play rather than gardening when he mentioned fencing. Was Jeffrey pretending to fence? If so that smacked of sheer insanity to him.
He sat back and played the role of observor for the time being...
"Yes, I have watched Serenity," he replied to Silver and then returned to the final remnants of his coffee, bothered more than he cared for by the strange comment. Perhaps having a match wasn't such a good idea after all... He'd see what came of that suggestion.
Silver and Jeffrey were well into discussing an old 80's TV series, none of which was of interest to the Brazilian and so he scooped up Amelia's menu and started to read. The ice cream really sounded good...
"When does this RP meet?"
He glanced up when Jeffrey posed his question and then looked at Silver. If she'd told him already he'd honestly forgotten but with the extra practice he needed at the academy he wasn't all that sure he'd be able to make it anyway. Hopefully so as she'd seemed pleased he'd agreed to it earlier!

Silver nodded as Jeffery spoke about Buck Rogers, "Sounds interesting." She commented. Maybe she had another tv show to look into. "The RP usually meets Sunday and wednesday's after school in the park. There is a secluded area. They meet at 6 and play until about 9 or 10." She explained. "When you both get there you will be asked to create a character. A name, personality and back ground. Then we team up and role play some story line and each time we meant we build on the storyline. Does that make sense?" Silver hoped it did. She really wanted them to like it.
"But they don't meet this Sunday due to the film festival." She explained. "So we will be meeting Wednesday. I think. The group likes to meet twice a day so the guy who runs it might want to meet Monday or Tuesday instead. I will have to wait for a text." She told them. "But I have felipe's number, so if you give me yours Jeff I can text you. I hope one of the two days works for you both." She said.
"See Felipe this is a perfect way for you to work on your acting. You did say you wanted to be an actor right. I hope I remembered that right. And jeff you like role play so this works out great." She said smiling. She checked her watch. "Oh my I didn't realize the time. I have to go. Quickly your number?" She handed her phone to Jeffrey. "Felipe it was great to meet you. Both of you."

(One more tag Felipe and I am finished)
Jeffrey quickly typed in his number in Silvers phone so she had it for future. He only hoped that she would stay in contact with him and they could be text buddies or something. He gave her a smile as she took back her phone.
Looking at Felipe, Jeffrey could tell that he had said the wrong thing about fencing. "Felipe, I haven't really fenced like steadily. Just once or twice and usually with a bush or tree. I've always used a foil, but I'm willing to learn any of them." He hoped that cleared it up.

Felipe had risen to his feet, ready to leave, when Jeffrey spoke. He turned back to face him. He listened politely as the other boy tried his best to clarify his mistake. That made it much clearer. He'd 'fenced once or twice' and with a tree as an opponent. In all honesty Felipe didn't see it being a particularly fair match against himself, seeing as though he'd been practising - against real opponents that fought back - for close to twelve years.
"Não se preocupe," he replied. "Do not worry. I would be willing to give you a lesson or workout," he replied with a slight dip of his head. The foil would probably suit Jeffrey the best as it was designed for those new to the sport.
He pulled on his jacket, adding, "It was good to meet you both. I will probably see you at school tomorrow." He nodded to Jeffrey and threw Silver a wink before wandering out.
An interesting encounter for sure... and definitely not an unpleasant way to spend an evening.
(wrapped for me!)

Jeffrey watched as the two left to where ever they were to go. He had a smile on his face thinking about his new friends. This was going to be a fun year of school. He sat back a moment thinking of what type of people he has yet to meet.
Standing up, he pulled out his phone. After dialing his mothers number, he started heading out. After a couple nods, he walked out of the store and headed towards to meet her. Jeffrey was as happy as a lamb at play. As he walked to meet his mother, he walked just a little higher, his confidence boosted a little more.
(I'm good now)
