Sarissa knew Tyler had to be less then pleased that Christophe ended up staying on the pull out couch. She guessed that was her fault. Okay it was her fault cause she could not do it. She could not spend another night alone with Tyler. He was making her squirm even more now, but she was trying to resist him. The damn man had more charm then she thought he did. Sarissa was not happy about that. He was doing much better then she expected and was actually making her realize he was not as shallow or vain as she thought him to be.
Of course perhaps christophe had not been the best person to invite either cause she flirted with him almost as badly. The only difference was Christophe managed to keep his tongue from being down her throat. It made things easier when Christophe had a girlfriend. The Sari knew off limits, hands to herself. Now here was Christophe sitting there at the breakfast table charming the pants off everyone. It was not good.
Two guys and it was hard to keep her attention between the two so that neither felt left out or awkward. She had surely out herself in a huge pickle. However, things seemed to be looking up. Sari woke up extra early and got dressed and left before either of the boys had a chance to notice she was gone. Mainly cause Tyler had managed to stay in his own bed this time.
Sari decided to help with breakfast. There she was questions by the Chief's wife. "You alright Mohini?"
Sari smiled, "Of course Snowbird. I am fine, just dealing with the situation I have created."
Snowbird smiled, "My dear, you should never look so negative, there is a silver lining every where."
"I know but I fear its not near here. Tyler is not going to be happy I let Christophe stay in the room and christophe is sure to be mad when he realized he was used to keep Tyler at a distance."
Snow bird smiled, "What I see is two boys who adore you..as a friend, and are both having a good time. So do not worry so much and whatever happens, you will be able to handle it."
Sari smirked. "I hope so." She said softly. Once breakfast was done. Sari was sent on a mission to find sticks for the came fire where they would have the breakfast. Snow bird watched Sari disappear into the woods alone. She had done it before.
Once both boys emerged. it was hard to say if the emerged at the same time or not Snowbird smiled, "You companion Mohini went that way." She pointed telling it to both men.

The couch had been surprisingly comfortable and, as such, Christophe awoke refreshed and ready to face the new day... and whatever else Sarissa had in store! Talking of which... where was she? A quick glance into the bedroom revealed nothing nut crumpled sheets and a pillow that still held the indentation of her head. Had she gone to Tyler's room during the night? More than likely but then again, Tyler could hardly come to her, could he? Not with Christophe sleeping so close by.
He met the man in question on his way down to breakfast.... and Sarissa was already there. He threw her a bright smile, receiving one back in return. After breakfast - which was pleasantly spent by Christophe at least. How could it fail to be anything else when he was partnered on both sides by attractive girls of his age or so. Those sitting within earshot seemed entranced by his accent... Something he was struggling to comprehend. To Christophe his accent wasn't anything special but he looked to be in the minority right now!
Sarissa vanisged as soon as the meal was over and he watched her leave, the hint of a frown settling across his forehead. Something was bothering her... Perhaps concerning a ritual that was to shortly follow? In that case he anted to know more about it.
"Pardon," he said to the girls as he got to his feet and he headed over to where Sarissa had gone. He met up with Tyler who apparently had a similar idea, only to be told she'd headed off into the woods.
"Did she want to be alone?" he asked the woman. Snowbird, he seemed to recall.
The woman smiled - mysteriously, maybe? "Who can tell?" was all she offered in response. Hardly a clear answer but Christophe had a feeling that was the best they were going to get.
"I'm going to go and find her," he said to Tyler and he broke into a jog on his way across the compound and towards the trees. Tyler was more than free to come as well but finding out what was wrong with Sarissa was very much to the forefront right now.
"Sarissa!" he called out as soon as he'd stepped beneath the first of the trees. "Sarissa! Where are you?!"

The night had been far less enjoyable that Tyler had been hoping. For one, with Christophe only feet away on the pull out couch, he really couldn’t sneak over to Sari’s bed as he had hoped, and indulge in some late night activities. He would have tried, of course, if he had even the slightest thought that she would happily go for such things, and even could have made it more enticing, trying to be quiet and not found out. But he knew she wouldn’t have a bar of him crawling into bed with her, no matter how innocent he protested his intentions to be. Besides, he was well aware that she most likely invited the other guy to prevent such situations occurring in the first place. She was a cunning woman, that was for sure. And so he spent his night actually sleeping, alone in his bed.
When he had the inclination, he was an early riser, so he made sure to be this Sunday morning, in the hopes of rousing the girl from her sleep and stealing her away to make up for what he had missed out on the previous night. But she had possibly guessed his intentions, and when he woke up, she was gone. He consoled himself with that fact that at least Christophe was sleeping still, so she wasn’t with him instead.
He had been really looking forward to his plans, so he hopped into the shower instead, thinking that was the best way to calm himself down. Then with nothing else to do, he decided he might as well head down to breakfast. Now, he should have done that at the start, he realised, finding the girl he’d been wanting to there before him. His relief that it was just her was only very short lived when he almost walked straight into Christophe. Great, a bit of competition was exactly what he wanted in the early morning.
But once again, Tyler found his attention split between Sari and all the other girls who set their sights on him during breakfast, and when he finally managed to break away to focus on Sari, he found that once more, she was gone. It really was becoming a habit of the girl’s. An annoying one at that. He made the effort to come down here, the least she could do was give him the attention he deserved.
Not willing to let her get away so easily from him, he decided to track her down, but unfortunately, Christophe had the same idea. Making their way together to the woods, they were soon separated once more as the guy jogged ahead to find the girl in question. He briefly considered following, but then dismissed the idea. No, he would look for Sari himself. “Sari! You close?” he yelled out, making sure to repeat her name as he headed off on a slightly different direction to Christophe, getting the distinct feeling the girl would choose who found her first. It better be him.

Sari had purposefully taken longer then she needed and disappeared. She was between a rock and a hard place. How did she give both boys the attention they deserved and not made one mad and the other feel awkward. It was hard. How the hell did Tyler do it. Watching him talking to those other women and flirting had annoyed the crap out of Sari and it just reminded her why she refused to give in, even if she was on the verge.
Oh this was so hard. You would think it wasn't and Sari was over reacting. Maybe she was, this whole thing was annoying, mostly cause she felt mad at herself. She had used christophe in an unfair way and had purposefully wanted to upset Tyler to make him back off, even if she truly did not want him to back off. So she used a good friend, one who could get mad about it and the other might just back off more then she wanted. Of course she only had herself to blame.
So Sari needed a moment. She walked through the woods to a lake with a waterfall. A calming place. She sat on a log there watching deer at the other end drinking. It did not take long for her to hear her name from two different guys. She had a feeling she would be found. She had just taken off. it was rather amusing. "Over here boys." She called out.
Sari once again heard her name but this time from two different directions and she didn't know which was to go. Tough decision, so she went for who was closer. She saw Tyler first. "Tyler...I am over here." She could see his head through the woods and called him over first. "By the lake." She called out smiling.
"I could not resist the view." She told Tyler as she pointed out the deer and the water fall. She smiled up at him, "So your attention was pretty busy this morning." She commented. Sari pulled her hair back into a ponytail.
"Christophe..over here." she called once she heard him call her name again. Its not like she could have just ignored him. That would have been rude and she was not about to do that. But this gave a few brief moments for her and Tyler alone.

When the two boys split up Christophe could sense this was some sort of a competition. He didn't acrtually feel like taking part in that sort of thing and while he'd had a great evening he wasn't so sure he was all that welcome. He'd had to have been blind not to notice that Tyler had recieved a text also last night... and the other boy's reaction was to immediately respond. It didn't take a genuis to put 2 and 2 together.
He stuffed his hands deep into his pockets and set off to explore the woods, drawing in deep breaths of air as he did so. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was being played with. Maybe even used... If so, why? It wasn't like Sarissa had been forced to invite him down last night... was it? And it was blatently clear Tyler didn't really want him there. So why WAS he here? It was something of a mystery to him.
He heard Sarissa call out but first to Tyler. She had to have heard them both but her decision had been made. He decided to allow them their privacy and so headed in the opposite direction to their voices.
He soon stumbled across a rambling stream and the French boy followed it with its flow, knowing it would eventually lead back to the settlement. He walked slowly, though, enjoying the early morning peace and quiet. He'd head back to the village, make his apologies to the chief, leave Sarissa a note and then head back home. He'd come up with some plausible reason for having to go back.
The trees started to thin and he could see the first signs of habitation but he wasn't quite ready to leave yet. Instead he dropped down onto a fallen tree trunk, trying his best to work out what the hell Sarissa was up to...
... and failing pretty miserably.
A few moments later Christope moved on...
"Did you find her?" asked Snowbird and Christophe nodded, quickly looking away. The woman touched his arm in a move that could only be termed sympathetic. She knew what had happened. He rustled up a smile and patted her hand. Finding the chief wouldn't be so easy but he couldn't be all that far away... he hoped!

With Christophe calling for the woman as well, Tyler couldn’t help but feel that this was becoming some sort of competition. He’d always enjoy a bit of competition, especially if he won, something he would make sure of today. Really, sure the other guy was kind of good looking, he supposed, if you went for the less masculine types, and he had the accent going for him, but he was really no match when it came to himself. Tyler had felt very confident in himself, in his appeal (others would say he was egotistical and/or arrogant, but he would just deem them jealous). Besides, he wasn’t blind to how the world, and women, and in particular, Californian women, worked. If a guy was hot, rich and charming, then that was all that was needed. Tyler happen to meet those three requirements in spades. Sure, Sari might try to claim to be different, and perhaps she was, but still, he knew he was wearing her down, that she couldn’t resist him forever.
And so, with everything that was in his favour, he wasn’t entirely surprised when he heard Sari calling out for him when he neared her, otherwise known as him winning. It was by no accident that winning was something he made a habit of. He managed to wipe the triumphant grin off his face by the time he reached her though, thinking that wouldn’t be something she would appreciate.
He glanced over to the scene she pointed out when he neared her, before returning his attention back to Sari, a view he enjoyed a lot more than some water and a deer. “Mmm, very nice view.” Tyler agreed with a chuckle, letting his eyes roam over her before joining her on the log. “Yes, you were right about the women here taking to me.” he admitted with another laugh. “I had been hoping to talk to you, but you’re quite the difficult woman to pin down.”
Though he was well aware that it would have been impolite for her to keep Christophe looking for her, he would have rather that then her call out for him. The man didn’t call back, which could mean he didn’t hear, which meant that Tyler had just a little more time left alone with Sari. That was something he needed to take full advantage of, never one to waste an opportunity.
“I know what you’re up to. Just because I’m a jock, doesn’t mean I can’t think.” he smirked. “You’re rather cunning, you know. Inviting Christophe up here to try to stop you from being too tempted, trying to prevent yourself from giving in to what you want. But here’s where your plan fails.” Tyler pointed out, letting his fingers graze her thigh. “You’re alone with me now. No one to get in the way.” With that, he cupped her cheek with one hand, leaning in to kiss her. He won.

Sari smirked at Tyler as he claimed to know what she was doing. She neither confirmed nor denies that. All Sari did was smile. "Cocky aren't we. You know he was a fan of the reservation before. i invited him up cause he truly expressed an interest in this place." Sari explained. She leaned up to kiss Tyler back. A nice passionate kiss with a little bit of tongue action of course. Which left them both breathless. "We should be heading back. can't be gone for too long. Besides I need to check on christophe." She claimed. Sari gave Tyler one more, much quicker kiss on the lips before smiling and slowly walking around him to walk away.
She had noticed Christophe had not come to the beautiful waterfall scene. Which made Sarissa worry. She didn't want him to leave. Sure she deserved it, but she did not want Christophe to remember his first time to the reservation as Sarissa being a dumb ass all because she didn't trust herself with Tyler. Which Tyler knew by now, and that sucked. Which Tyler might be more persistent to get her alone.
"I want both you and Christophe to stay for a few more hours, then you are free to go. I want you to see what activities are to come next, but first I need to talk to him." She nodded toward Christophe. Be right back Tyler." Sari said to him and kissed his cheek ass he noticed Christophe and jogged over to him. She grabbed his arm, "Wait...please." Her voice was soft and pleading. "I'm sorry." She told him. "I wanted to come out here this morning and have a great time, but my inviting you last night was for the wrong reasons and I am sorry I did that to you. it was very unfair and cruel of me." Sari had felt guilt over this, so even if christophe had not seen it, she felt the need to say it.
"Please stay. The elders are going to give a campfire soon and re tell stories of how the tribe came to be, and then there is a music show, its beautiful music. I really want you to experience all this." Sari said to him. "You are a good friend to me, and i know i used that in a bad way and I am sorry, but please forgive me and stay?" She asked hoping he would.
The next few activates was something she truly wanted to share with both men. The story telling, the music and the kids play. it truly showed the spirit of the tribe and just why she loved it and felt at home here. She would partake in the music show and help in the kids play, of course she was not about to tell both men that, but she hoped Christophe agreed to stay.

After parting with Snowbird Christophe had returned to the room and gathered up his sparse belongings. A wash bag and various items plus a few items of clothing. It took him a little less than 5 minutes to finish the task and the bag had been thrown into the back of his car. All that was left was the note for Sarissa and to bid farewell to the chief as well as thank him for his hospitality. The chief came first and it was as he was speaking to the man that one of the native youths wandered over.
“Toffee!” he called and the French boy grinned, knowing his name to be tricky to pronounce. “Some of us are going fishing before the stories... wanna come? We’ll only be an hour or so.” The boy glanced at his Elder who nodded.
“I was going to leave...” Christophe started but the other boy simply laughed and told him to meet them by the bridge in 10 minutes. It looked like his departure would be slightly delayed.
A note of a different kind needed leaving for when Sarissa - and Tyler - decided to return but once again his plan was thwarted. Sarissa jogged over to intercept him on his way back to their room.
He listened in silence as she spoke. So he’d been right in assuming he’d been ‘summoned’ here for a reason other than for his company. That hurt more than he knew it should and he wasn’t really sure why. Had he hoped she’d actually WANTED to see him? Christophe realised now that was a pretty stupid concept. Why would she when she clearly wanted to be with Tyler?
“Unfair. Yes,”he agreed. “And also pretty cruel. I am not all that sure why I was needed. I mean, you and Tyler obviously want to be together sooo... “ He lifted his shoulders slightly. “I will stay for a short while longer. Some of the other boys are going fishing before the story-telling. I have been invited to go with them.” He threw her a slightly forced smile. “If nothing else at least I know their invitation was made genuinely, non? We will be back for the stories.” And she and Tyler would have time to spend alone together. It worked out perfectly, didn’t it?
Just as Sarissa had planned.

Ouch, the genuine sentence kind of hurt, but was very true. Sari had invited him last night under false pretenses. How could she blame him for what he was saying. He would stay for fishing and not because of her. She deserved it and Christophe deserved better. She couldn't blame him. "Tyler and I are complicated. Being alone is not what he and I need. With Tyler is purly physical fun and budding friendship. I brought him here to show him a whole new world. I don't think he wanted to come at first." She told Christophe.
"But you are the first guy friend I have ever had who had not tried to kiss me, touch me or pull me into bed. You actually know where the line of friendship is. I respect that, even if I didn't act like it. That means so much to me, having you as a true friend." She said. The deal with Tyler was different. Their friendship was still in the unknown region. She and Tyler were different from her and Christophe. Yes she wanted to be alone with Tyler, but not in this moment. What she wanted was the three of them to enjoy the rest of the morning together.
"And you actually wanted to see this place and enjoy it. You are the first person I have ever met who has showed a genuine interest in the reservation and the Apache tribe. Everyone else gets bored and tells me to shut. Even Tyler is here cause I told him to come, not because I asked, you came because I asked. There is so much I want to show you including the sacred buriel grounds and the ceremony ring. Oh and the sacred prayer circle." Sari told him. "I want you here. I truly want you here." She said. "What I did was wrong. I used you. You are way too sweet of a guy to be friends with me for what I did. but don't think for one second that I never wanted you to come here. I did. I want to share this with you." Sari told Christophe.
Tyler was another story. She brought Tyler here to show him a world outside of his high school life. Christophe however, would actually appreciate this place for a different reason then Tyler would. "I am sorry." Sarissa said again. She gave him a true I'm sorry smile. "I hope you enjoy the fishing and the rest of the morning. I don't think you will be disappointed. But I understand if when you say bye, you don't say bye to me. I just hope one day you can forgive me for being so mean and cruel." She truly had not meant it. It just backfired in her face. She had planned for a much better weekend and ruined it for Christophe which sucked for him.
Sari dropped Christophe's hand and took a step back. "See you I guess." What more could she say. She said sorry, explained and just hoped he stayed and continued to enjoy it. Sari turned to head back over to Tyler when Snowbird stopped her, "Mohini, just remember one thing, to not be thyself is to lie to oneself." She smiled.
Sari sighed, "what does that mean?"
"You will figure it out my child. For now a young man awaits you and hopefully you will be joined by the second man. Both are nice boys and I hope to see them both again. Just maybe not at the same time." Snowbird said with a smile.
Sari smirked, "I hope so too." She told the older woman and looked back at Christophe her eye caught his for a brief moment and then forward at Tyler making eye contact with him. "I think I might have an idea for the three of us. Assuming Christophe decided to forgive me in the next few moments. But I think both he and Tyler will enjoy my idea."

He said nothing during the one-sided conversation. What was left that he COULD say. She knew exactly how he felt and he could tell she was sorry to have used him like she had. Her comment about her relationship with Tyler confirmed his belief that they were either together or wanted to be. No way was he going to get in the way of that. He’d had his fill of mind games. Fishing was just what he needed to clear his head. He’d stay but for no other reason than a deep interest and desire to learn as much as he could about these people. Their pasts and their present. Even their future if that was known. Could he forgive Sarissa? Yes, he could. *Would* he? Now that was very different. Of course he would but she would need to find another pawn to play with as he wouldn’t fall for that sort of trick again. First Lia had screwed with his head and now Sarissa... Maybe he attracted that sort of thing... Hopefully not as he wasn’t sure his ego would stand up to a third attack!
He watched her head back to Tyler, stopping briefly to talk to Snowbird. He frowned slightly but was jerked back to his immediate surroundings by a sharp whistle. He turned to see Bodaway gesturing wildly in his direction, beckoning him to follow. Christophe threw Sarissa one last glance, his eyes caught by those of the wise woman, Snowbird. She smiled and nodded slightly before turning away. What had that brief exchange meant? He knew he’d probably never find out. Instead he jogged after Bodaway, wondering why none of the boys carried fishing rods.
‘I’d better not be about to get drenched,’ he thought to himself, all the while sensing that was exactly what was going to happen!
