“Cocky...I suppose, though I do prefer the term confident.” Tyler pointed out with a laugh. “And I do believe you in that, Christophe has seemed rather keen about being here, interested in actually learning about the place. But, there was no reason that he needed to come up this weekend instead of next, unless, as I said, you were trying to keep away. Which means you like me. You really, really like me.” he teased, rather enjoying his little ‘victory’.
Sari could really kiss, so Tyler found himself really enjoying it, especially when she gave in first, sliding her tongue inside his mouth. It just proved to him even further that he had been completely right. He generally was about this sorts of things, if there was one thing he knew, it was women. He would have to, he spent the majority of his waking hours with women, either talking to them, or more likely, seducing them or attempting to seduce them. It was a ‘hard’ job, but someone had to do it, and who better suited to the task than him?
Though he did appreciate the breather Sari pulling away provided him, he wasn’t as keen on her mention of checking up on Christophe. He was about to point out that her friend was a grown man, he could surely manage on his own for an hour, if at that, besides, there was plenty of girls around who would happily entertain him. But then Sari was up and walking around him, after one more, brief kiss, and he lost his chance. Rather annoying once more.
“Of course, I’ll stay as long as you want me to, I can’t wait to see what you have in store for me.” Tyler grinned, meaning it. He had, surprisingly, enjoyed himself thoroughly over the course of the weekend so far, and he was curious to see what else was to come. And to use it all to his advantage to win over Sari even further. It wouldn’t be too much longer now though, before he had her. In fact, he wouldn’t be surprised if, when they left today, and he invited her back to his house for dinner, she took him up on the offer, and he finally got what he had been chasing her for in the first place. And he knew, he wouldn’t be the only one who enjoyed himself.
He was still thinking about the fun he was hoping to have that night when she returned, and he grinned broadly at her. “You didn’t keep me waiting for long.” Tyler smiled, seeming rather pleased with that. And when she came closer still, he grabbed her hand, pulling her onto his lap. There was something else he noticed about her return, but he didn’t point it out yet, instead, he just used the opportunity to kiss her once more.
“Christophe not with you?” he queried as he pulled away, just enough to be able to talk. “So, I have you all to myself?”

Sari smiled as she was pulled onto Tyler's lap. She kissed him back. It was sadly true. Sari was attracted to Tyler. Physically of course and emotionally, but only as a friend. She still knew anything further would involve friends with benefits, but nothing else. Which was fine by Sari. She was not looking for just one guy anyway. However, she had a feeling Tyler might be a main guy until she found someone new.
She felt a bit down about Christophe./ She had screwed that up without meaning to. In her head, both boys were to come up and have fun. But the mistake she made was using Christophe to guard herself against Tyler. She never should have done that. Hopefully in a few days she could talk to Christophe and be forgiven. If he didn't forgive her, she could not blame him. "He went fishing. He needed some space, which I don't blame him for needing. You were right. But if you tease me I will make you pay." Sari warned Tyler playfully.
"I originally invited him for breakfast tomorrow, but I sent him a text last night to come up early, cause I needed someone else in that room. That was not right of me at all. So he is hurt and needs some space." Sari explained. She watched Christophe walk away hoping he would be back in an hour to watch her in the music show.
"So for the next hour I am yours. But if you even think of getting me into a room alone...forget it. I am still keeping my clothes on." Sari told Tyler as she poked his chest. "So cowboy, let's see what you can do for an hour that does not involve being between the sheets. You having fun yet?"
The hour passed by fast. Tyler and Sari ended up hiking back to the water fall and mostly making out. Her thoughts still drifted to Christophe every now and then. Wondering about him. if the other guys were treating him right. "Time to head back, the music show will be starting." Sari said to Tyler as the hour passed by. She grabbed his hand and headed back to the center of the grounds. As she did do they ran into Christophe, whom was soaked from head to toe. "How did you get soaked? Can i get you a towel? clothes?" She asked Christophe. "There is a fire you can sit next too." Sari pointed out.

Bodaway and his friends soon dragged Christophe’s thoughts away from Sarissa’s manipulation and he ended up not only having a great time fishing but also - as he’d feared - getting soaked. His skills clearly didn’t lie in coaxing fish to sit between his hands at the bottom of the river but he had fun watching the other boys catch several decent sized fish. The 5 youths headed back in high spirits, each with their jeans rolled up to almost their knees and carrying footwear as well as t-shirts. A button down shirt in Christophe's case. There had been no point in getting their shirts wet as well.
The ‘soaking’ came courtesy of Gopan who had thought it funny to tackle the French boy from behind. The resulting splash had sent any remaining fish scattering for the deeper water and called an end to their outing. Christophe had his revenge though as he’d rolled quickly, taking Gopan into the water as well. An all-out water fight had ensued, seeing them all end up in the same sort of state.
As they walked back Christophe taught the other 4 teens a few basic words in French. In return they helped him memorise a couple of Apache terms. “Dalaa, naki, taagi,” he repeated and Bodaway nodded, repeating the same words in French for Christophe’s approval.
“Un, deux, trois.”
The French boy nodded. “Bien. Now try good morning again...”
“Bon...jooor.”
“Close enough,” he replied with a grin. He was sorely tempted to teach Gopan a phrase and tell him it meant something completely different but then again the boy might just say it to a French speaking person and end up with a bruised nose for his efforts. Perhaps not.
“You remember how to say hello, Toffee?” asked Bodaway and Christophe nodded.
“Yaa' ta' sai'... right?”
Gopan snickered but Bodaway threw him a glare. “As you said, close enough,” Bodaway reassured Christophe.
They were still laughing over their mutually terrible accents by the time they reached the main settlement. Sarissa - and, of course, Tyler - was already there. She offered to get him a towel and dry clothes but he shook his head. “I will dry quickly,” he told her and he wandered over to the fire, dropping down with his new-found group of friends. He still needed some space between himself and the other pair. Gopan’s younger sister, Elina, knelt behind Christophe and started weaving an eagle’s feather into the French boy’s longer than average hair. Her work was hampered by the fact that his hair was still pretty damp but the end result looked pretty good... not that he could see it for himself.
Sarissa and Tyler sat together nearby but he was determined not to let her spoil his time here. He’d be back... He knew he would be and Bodaway had already made him promise to do precisely that. Maybe next time he’d come up here alone and stay for the weekend... That definitely appealed right about now.
“So what happens now?” he asked in general. Bodaway... Gopan... Elina... or Sarissa. Any of them were free to answer.

“Oh.” Tyler murmured, not needed to say anymore. He understood things completely now. Not that he was one to mainly focus on himself, well, actually, he was one to be concerned mostly with himself, though his friends and the people he cared about did often get a look in. But during this whole situation, from last night till this morning, he only considered how Sari inviting Christophe up last night affected him. As in, how it prevented him from doing the one thing he had been really hoping to do up here with the beautiful woman. Which was annoying, and aggravating, and only made him want it more.
It was only now that he considered how Christophe must feel about the whole thing. If things had been reversed, and he knew he’d been invited as an additional form of ‘protection’, so that Sari wouldn’t be tempted to sleep with the other guy, he would most certainly be pissed. Probably more than Christophe was, as he would have only come to sleep with Sari in the first place, whereas the Frenchman had other reasons for coming, it seemed. But still, he could understand the man not being too thrilled with the deception, needing space. It was, however, in the end, advantageous to the footballer. It meant some more time alone with Sari, and that was all he felt he needed to finally seduce her, just a little bit more time.
“Well then, no teasing. Though I am tempted to find out how you would make me pay.” he smirked. “But a whole hour? The things I could do in an hour...but fully clothed? And no sheets, which I can only assume, to be involved? Spoil my fun, why don’t you?” he chuckled. “But I’ll make do, see what I can do. I do enjoy surprising you, as you know. And there’s a lot I can still do with clothes on.”
And he surprised himself, the hour passed rather quickly, and enjoyably. Tyler enjoyed the hike up to the waterfall, and there was something to be said for the view. Though no one would be surprised to learn that the make out session he enjoyed with Sari was his highlight. It had passed all too quickly, and just as he considered trying to talk her out of her clothes remain on policy, she was up, leading him back down for the music show, whatever that involved. He just hoped he and Christophe weren’t going to be made to provide the music. Singing wasn’t exactly his strong suit, not that he was terrible, he was decent, but he preferred pursuits that he could excel in.
At the first sight of Christophe, he couldn’t help but be amused, and a little confused. He thought he was going fishing? How did he end up looking like a drowned rat in the process? It became clear though that he man wasn’t quite ready to forgive and forget, again something he could understand. He took up a position sitting nearby, watching the fire, as Sari moved over towards him. The question was something he had been considering himself. “I was just wondering that? What is this music show?”

Sari smiled at the boys who had brought back christophe, "Good going boys." Gopan just smiled and laugh at Sarissa. "You know us, can never resist getting people wet." Gopan said laughing as he sat by christophe. Sari was across the way with Tyler. The circle was pretty big. Sari looked at both boys,"The music show is put on by some of the tribe members. it involves ceremony drums, rattlers, courting flutes, and a fiddle. A few other instruments too, but the names would just be lost on the both of you. Something from the tribe to the outsiders. A few of the women dance as they play the flutes. The point is to tell some stories through music. " She explained to both boys.
Bodaway agreed, "I am learning to play the fiddle." He chimed in. Sari nodded, "And he is quite good too. I need to go get ready, so I will see you guys after the show." Sarissa stood up,"Did I forget to mention i play one of the wooden flutes." She winked as she stepped over the bench and walked off.
Gopan and Bodaway and the other boys just laughed. They all knew Sarissa and knew she had left that out on purpose. Sarissa headed to the other group. A mixture of a few women and men, older and younger. Sarissa was probably the youngers. As the children's show was a about an hour and a half later, a little before lunch. That show would have Gopan, Bodaway and a few others in it.
Soon everyone was quited down and the people too kthe stage.A front row of five people, all girls, all had long wooden, flutes and started to play. Soon the drums, then the fiddle joined in to bring a about a nice meoldy and harmony of music. The dancing was mild movements, but told a lovely story. Each person had their own little solo.
This lasted about an hour. A show filled with fast and slow music, slow and fast dancing and so much more. Stories that were history and fairytales combined. By the end of it Sari was slightly light headed from playing the flute, but it had bee great fun. She walked back over to where Tyler and Christophe was sitting. "So did you all enjoy the show?" She asked.
Of course Gopan and Bodaway did and both mentioned how good the whole show was, but they were around the music a lot too. So they knew what to expect, "If either of you want to learn an instument, howto play or just more about it. I can teach you, or you can go talk to the chief." The last part about talking to the cheif was said for Christophe's sake since Sari knew hoe he was not liking her at the moment.

Christophe had sat motionless during the entire performance. The music was entrancing and for the moment he even forgot how annoyed he was with Sarissa. Instead he lost himself in the atmosphere. He had to admit he felt a momentary pang of sympathy for Tyler. Sarissa had told him why she'd summoned him and he'd also seen how she'd been flirting with the other boy. Back home there was a word for that sort of behavior. Une piqûre taquinent. It wasn't a term he particularly liked but Sarissa was definitely teasing Tyler and leading him on.
He pushed that thought aside once more as the music came to its conclusion and Sarissa returned. She sat with Tyler, a little way around the fire from Christophe.
"It was very good," he replied in reply to her question about the performance. "Most enjoyable but as for learning an instrument... Merci, mais non. I will leave that to those who have musical aptitude.
Gopan and Bodaway were chatting together animatedly, on something of a high following the show and who could blame them for that? The entire past hour had been magical. "We should have made Toffee and Tyler dance," Gopan said on a laugh.
"And ruined the performance?" Christophe shook his head, the eagle's feather bouncing slightly as he did so. He'd forgotten that Elina had placed it there. That seemed to make the hyper-active Native American laugh all the more and Christophe reviewed his earlier decision not to teach the boy a French colloquial term.
Christophe beckoned Gopan closer. "I have another phrase for you to learn," he told the excited boy. "If you say this to a French girl she will be yours straight away."
"Really?" he was almost bouncing with excitement. "You are a good friend, Toffee..."
Christophe came close to abandoning his idea.
"Even if you do water fight like a girl," Gopan added.
The French boy's eyes narrowed in renewed determination and he leaned closer. "Say this... 'lèche mon cul'." Christophe repeated it slowly and carefully. "Now try..."
Gopan frowned in concentration. "Leshay mon cool... Right?"
Christophe nodded. "Perfect." After all, what girl could resist the invitation to 'lick his ass'? "Don't forget it now and don't tell the others... You don't want them stealing that girl, do you?"
He settled back in satisfaction, glancing over at Tyler and Sarissa. "I think I will stay on for a while after you leave," he told them.

"Tyler is actually leaving now. I am staying through lunch." Sarissa said. It had been her plan all along cause she was going to help some of the women with their clothes. She always did that when she came up. Tyler said his good byes. He was always going to leave after breakfast anyway so this was not a shock or a surprise. Although now Sari was alone with Christophe. She sat nervously back down a bit closer to Christophe, but ot by much.
"Glad you liked the performance. The kids are putting one on in an hour. So you should enjoy that one too." She told him. "While you were out fishing did Gopanand Bodaway show you the caverns. They lie on the other side of the water fall. They are beautiful, but slippery. Definitely not a place you want to get lost."
"Yeah just ask Mohini...she got lost there." Gopan said sticking his tongue out at Sarissa playfully. She stick her tonguw out back. "You are still a shirmp to me Gopan. No matter what." She teased the boy and ruffled his hair.
"Hey not the hair." Gopan said. "Between the French Toffee is teaching me and my hair, I am sure to get the girls." Gopan said with a smile.
Sari just smiled at the little boy and his friend. She truly did love this tribe. Bodaway and Gopan started laughing and playing around. "Um..well, I am glad you want to stick around. I will be around if you um...want to talk or anything...but enjoy the restof your stay." Sarissa said. "I am sorry." She stood up and brushed off her legs and her butt. "See you in a hour for the next show...Oh um..I meant to invite you to this, but there is a wedding happening here April 15, you should come....its a ceremony I think you would enjoy."

Tyler was leaving? No, he'd known that but he'd assumed - wrongly, it seemed, that Sarissa would be going with him. He left pretty soon after the performance, in fact, leaving Sarissa and Chrisdtophe alone. Well, as alone as two people could be amongst the large group of Native Americans.
"No, they didn't show me the caverns. Maybe I will check them out before the next show. They are near where we went fishing?"
Gopan snickered. "Like you did any fishing, Toffee," he said on another laugh.
"Quiet, Gopan," hissed Bodaway with a grin., "Yeah... just a bit further on but be careful... like Gopan said its easy to get lost down there."
Christophe nodded, mentally vowing to leave some kind of a trail back to the outside world.
He laughed when Gopan jerked back from Sarissa, saying something about learning French. If only he knew... With luck one day Gopan would get the opportunity to use that phrase in earnest! How he wished he could be present if and when that happened!
Christophe glanced up at Sarissa when she got to her feet, apologising again for her treatment of him. He refused to reply with the usual 'its fine' sort of comment - mainly because it wasn't fine at all. His pride stung as did his ego. What a fool he'd been in thinking she liked him more than she clearly did. How she and Tyler must have laughed over that!
"A wedding?" Of course he'd love to come and see that but... "I'll see if I can. Not sure. I have to fit it in around work and other stuff." Like what opther stuff? His 'brimming with dates' social calendar? Yeah, right. No way was he going to leap at her suggestion though. Yesterday yes he would have done exactly that but today... no, today he felt very differently. He knew he'd be there but he wasn't about to look that eager. Not again.
"I could maybe drop by for a few minutes or something. I'll see." There, that hadn't sounded too eager... had it? "If I can't come you could always ask Tyler..." Dumb. Stupid. She would already have asked him before asking Christophe and the guy probably had turned her down... The reason he was being asked now.
He stood as well and brushed his hands down his now thankfully dry clothes. "I should get going if I want to check out those caverns before the next show. See you then," he added before turning away. The caverns... a bit of adventure was just what he needed!
