It was another normal school day for Silver. She could not wait until the DnD group meeting. She was itching for role play. She needed a break and to escape. The pressure her mother put on her was unbelievable. Silver needed to break away. She had a mental countdown 26 hours 45 minutes 13 seconds....now 12 seconds...now 11...until the game. God she was a pathetic dork. Counting down. Who did that. Silver quietly got out of her car and headed into the school. She was hit and knocked into. It was like any other day. The invisible tended to stay invisible.
Silver just thought about DnD, and random facts in her head. Some how it helped her navigate and not care that the same jock had just knocked into her twice without realizing it. Silver pushed her glasses up on her nose a little more as she searched for her locker. That was her sanctuary. Her locker could protect her. A place for her to stand still and be ignored even more. To be honest Silver liked to be ignored. She could be a babbling idiot when she talked to the wrong person. Her friends were the only ones she actually acted normal around.
Silver was a few steps away, but that did not save her. A few jocks were pushing each other around and Silver was hit by a jock being shoved at the time. Her books went everywhere. Her glasses fell off. Silver was down on the floor as looking for her glasses. She felt around praying they did not get stepped on. Luckily she grabbed them right before they got stepped on. Silver put her glasses on and saw her books all around getting kicked around by the other students. So Silver played dodge the foot to get her books. Sometimes Silver wished she was not invisible, but it looked at if that was not gonna happen. Silver reached for a book that was underneath someone's foot. She looked up and blinked at the person, "Um...would you....um....mind lifting .....um....your foot. My book is underneath it.....please."

Another school day. At least it was Friday...or was that just what Emma was supposed to think. Truth be told, she didn't mind school so much. The casual encounters she had through a day...it was almost like having friends. Was she really so pathetic? Yes...the answer was totally yes. Emma spent the majority of her time sitting reading in the library or sitting in the back of the class, taking notes and pretending to be invisible. But still, at least she was surrounded by people.
On the weekends she spent most of her time alone. She'd stay up in her room reading books or sometimes writing a bit. She'd make dinner for her dad and they'd eat the leftovers for lunch the next day, sometimes breakfast. The point was, that it was boring. Maybe just Emma was boring. She was sort of okay with being boring...but she sort of wished that she could be boring with other people maybe. Or maybe she needed a knew hobby that wasn't reading. Reading was such a solitary act...it didn't really invite other people to hang out with her.
Maybe it was time to branch out. The problem was, that Emma was so shy...well, she wasn't good at walking up to people and starting a conversation. She could hold a conversation sometimes if the other person talked first. However, if some act of random irony had fallen upon her, she stepped on the very thing that haunted her ability to socialize: a book.
A blonde girl looked up at her and asked her to move. "Oh...oh of course," she said. She not only moved but knelt down to help the girl, starting by picking up her glasses and handing them to her. "Here," she said, tucking her long brown hair behind her ear. "You okay?" she asked, reaching out to help the girl pick up her books.

The school was just as confusing as it had been on his first day... Yesterday, in fact. Perhaps hoping for some mind-blowing clarity and a sudden sense of direction overnight was a touch on the unlikely side but Christophe Broussard had been born an optimist. Today, though, he was due for a disappointment as the blur of clothing, voices... and faceless, nameless lockers left him at a complete loss.
A short way from him a couple of burlier kids were messing around. The usual 'shove me and I'll shove you back' sort of game that Christophe had never really taken part in. He saw no need to enter into any kind of play 'alpha male' exercise and left that to those who found it fun.
He turned away to scan the closest lockers, trying to find the one he was sharing with... the person whose name he'd also forgotten. A great start to the day and he frowned slightly as he moved on...
A body bumped into his back and he half turned to see who he'd collided with. No one was that close and his frown deepened slightly... Right up until a voice could be heard in the region of his knees.
Christophe looked down in surprise.
"Um...would you....um....mind lifting .....um....your foot. My book is underneath it.....please."
"I'm sorry?" he replied, glancing from the girl and to his left boot, drawn by the tap on his ankle and the gentle tugging feeling on whatever he was standing on.
"Oh! My pardon," he added and he lifted his boot. He dropped down into a crouch to help her gather together her dropped items. "Is that yours also?" he asked, gesturing towards something that had rolled towards the water fountain. Cylindrical - not all that long. He wasn't all that sure what it even was but had seen other girls with them so could hazard a guess.

(OOC: The more the merrier. I am happy to have both people in the thread. Besides knowing Silver, she dropped more then two books, lol)
Silver smiled as the nice girl helped her pick up her books, "Thank you." However that was not the end of it. She still had at least one book left to go, and where was it...of course, under someone else's foot. Another tap and another soft spoken, stuttering mess. Only this time it was no woman, but a man who replied. She should have known from the size of the boot, but Silver did not do well talking to guys, especially hot ones. This guy was hot.
"Th...thank you." She stuttered out as the guy helped her gather the rest of her books. She looked at the object in question and nodded, "Y...yes." She quickly retrieved the object and stood up. Silver's eyes darted from the brunette female to the cute guy who was actually sticking around. Why was he not leaving. Most guys would not have even bothered to help.
"I..I am Silver...nice to meet you both." Silver hugged her books to her chest and held out her hand offering both of them a soft smile. Of course her nerves set in. The girl was pretty and the guy was cute. She wondered if they were together. They looked like a cute couple. Emma seemed like one of those confident girls, but she was nice for helping and Christ seemed like a popular guy. Both were way too kind. They did not need to stick around. Why would two popular kids want to be near a nothing like her. But the longer they stood there the more nervous Silver got, but she really did need to learn to socialize more.
She made sure to cover her chest. even if no evidence of the scar existed, she was afraid someone would see it anyway. "Did you know that...It would take 11 Empire State Buildings, stacked one on top of the other, to measure the Gulf of Mexico at its deepest point. Just a weird random fact I know...its silly really..." She said beginning to ramble. "I am full of useless facts like that. My mom says i could start a dictionary of useless information. i just some how cannot forget weird facts. once I read something its like bam stuck inside my head..." And the rambling has officially begun.

"Really?" Christophe replied, not all that sure where her randomness had come from but glad to be distracted from the tubular item. After all, the more he'd looked at it the greater he'd been convinced of what it really was. "I will remember that," he added. "In case I am ever asked such a question." His dark eyes glinted with humour as he spoke. "So you are called Silver?" he went on to ask. "Or did I misunderstand and you said you are attending the school Silver? I am Christophe," he added with a friendly smile. "Christophe Broussard. This is only my second day her and," he said with a wry lift of his shoulders and a slight raise of his hands, "... I am completely lost so am very grateful for our chance encounter. He turned his smile onto the other girl. "I hope that between you I can find out where I am supposed to be. That is, once we find out if you are unharmed." The last was uttered to the girl with the books. The one with the name that had so confused the French boy.
"Look... something else is trying to escape!" He said with a gesture towards a dropped mobile phone. He pounced on it and offered it to Silver. "Or perhaps it is yours?" Christophe added to Emma. It wasn't his for certain. Christophe wouldn't be seen dead using a pearlescent pink-toned phone.

Emma was also caught of guard by the boy. Emma wasn't really good at talking to anyone let along boys. She usually only talked to them when they spoke to her first or when she ended up falling or bumping into one...which tended to happen. Emma was pretty clumsy. While she had the type of personality that she would have helped anyone, she knew what it was like to fall or drop things so her heart had gone out to the girl.
However, when it seemed like the guy was willing to help, Emma wondered if that was her cue to leave. After all...why would anyone want her to stick around? The girl who couldn't even always put together a sentence. Emma wondered if she should announce that she was leaving or just leave...after all...she was an expert and being invisible...they probably wouldn't even notice. But then the girl started to talk...random facts. It seemed that she was just as nervous as Emma was, which struck Emma as sort of odd. After all, the blonde was gorgeous and why she perhaps didn't dress quite like the popular kids, Emma was sure that she had to at least have friends. Maybe Emma was so outwardly awkward that the girl was actually trying to comfort her...how embarrassing. Emma knew that she was awkward but was she so bad that random strangers could see it.
"Um...uh...oh...cool," she said, pushing her hair behind her ear once again--a nervous habit. "Do--do you like to read a lot?" Emma asked, her own bag was overflowing with books after all so she'd never be left without something to read. Sure Emma preferred fiction to anything else--it was sort of her escape--but learning new facts could be cool too...especially the random ones. Emma liked those.

"I um..my name is Silver. I attend Gould." Silver said with a nervous laugh as she pushed her glasses back up her nose. "people often get that confused. Me being named after one of the high schools. Silver is more commonly a last name or the name of an establishment. My mother is weird and named me after her favorite color." She told the others. Like they really cared to know about her named. Stupid girl. Silver could kick herself. She must sound like the biggest idiot right now. What else was new to be honest. Odds are both Emma and Christophe would walk away praying they could be as far away from Silver as possible.
"You are new then...I ..I can defiantly try to help you..where did you move from?" Silver asked very interested. She loved learning about new people. She herself had never had the chance to travel, but she always wanted to. "i assure you I am fine..I saved my glasses before they could become a casualty." Silver said in a semi soft and nervous voice.
She looked at Emma and beamed when the girl talked about reading, "Reading, oh yes i love to read. its all I ever do really. The library is like my second home. i am always there during lunch. You both could always join me...one..day..if you want..you don't have to..just a thought.." Silver could never not a stutter or sound dumb. She was so socially awkward.
"Oh the phone, umm thats um..mine..." Silver said once again. God did she drop everything. Silver reached for the phone. her fingers brushed Christophe's fingers and it made her face turn crimson. She was blushing so much she wanted to run and hide. "th..thanks..." Silver wished she could run and hide at this moment. "What do you um..both do in your..um free time?"
