[Character Name: Haley Rowan]
Haley was actually glad Gould and Silver cheerleaders were doing a pep rally together. It showed unity. Although it was good Silver could still have its own, team, but showing unity now was very important. To Haley's surprise Gould and Silver was getting along. She expected a power struggle over who would lead the cheers. Usually at Silver it was Trixie who was the leader. Or at least one of them. Although Haley would love to be Captain, she did not have the stamina to do it. So for now Haley was content to follow Bree in her cheer. Apparently Gould and Silver decided two people from each team would lead one cheer.
Right now it was Bree's turn. Haley liked the cheer. it was cute, sexy and fun to do. She recited it with ease and practice. Of course Haley was born to be a cheerleader. Her mother had been one. So now she was one. No shock there. Not to sound like she had a big ego, but Haley was born to be popular. Her mother was a trophy wife, so....Haley took a breath as she looked around in the stands. She was looking for her boyfriend Cam. She had been inviting him to practice. He was her boyfriend, and she figured the more he hung around with the cheerleaders the better. But he was not there. Only them and two boys who seemed to be fighting over who had the bigger ego or something.
Haley heard what Bree asked. She smiled, "I think shaking pom poms is a good idea." Then Haley gave her ass a wiggle. She laughed and so did some other cheerleaders. It was just a stupid joke, "But seriously I like the idea of pom poms and shaking them whole stomping. Gives our hands something to go and goes with the rhythm." Haley offered.
She heard the fight get more intense and excused her self as she walked over to the two guys. Haley had her classic smile on her face and moved some hair out of her face. She flipped her long, blond hair over her shoulder. One good thing about a cheer leading outfit, was it always made her look good. Haley smiled as she spoke to the boys, "Hey boys, I am Haley and I hate to interrupt what ever this is, but I would rather not see a fight and I doubt either of you want to screw up your pretty face." Haley looked at both guys. She could not help if they both looked good. But she did not know them and they were not her type. She had heard of Tyler and Xavier, but she never met them. She was use to Silver womanizers.
"And quite frankly I can barely hear Bree giving the cheers. So why don't you both take a step back and take a breather and let us finish practice. Then I promise to get a mud pit and for once two boys can have a mud fight instead of us women." Haley did not mean to sound like a bitch, but it was true. She was able to follow along, but she could barely hear, and to be honest both guys were distracting.

It didn't take much to distract Cam. Being the genius he was, he'd often get side tracked with things that no one else really understood. Truth be told, he probably could have been graduating from college right now instead of a senior in high school, however his parents hadn't wanted to skip him more than two grades since they didn't want him to lose his ability to 'socialize.' Of course he had anyway. Up until he'd met Haley he really hadn't had many friends, mostly because not many people really understood what he was talking about most of the time. And then he'd given up those few people who did get him for Haley and now since the shooting, since Wynn had forgiven him, it seemed that he was slowly finding his way back into a comfort zone where he could have friends and a totally hot and popular girlfriend too, which still seemed so bizarre to him, even as the weeks went by and their relationship became longer and longer.
Still, he wasn't completely accepted by the popular kids like he knew Haley would have liked. So he did really try and make an effort to show up to the things that Haley wanted him to...like cheerleading practice. Only he'd gotten distracted on a complex physics problem, that surpassed anything they were learning in school and now he was late, although on the plus side he'd totally solved the problem.
So Cam hurried towards where he knew the cheerleaders would be practicing. After all, getting to watch them was always fun after all...a bunch of hot girls jumping around....sure Haley was by far the hottest in his mind, however seeing her surrounded by other beautiful girls was always a plus.
However as he neared the practice instead of seeing Haley cheering, she saw her arguing with two guys. Cam didn't know what it was about but his protective boyfriend mode shot into affect and he got there as soon as he could. "What's going on?" he demanded. "Haley, are you alright?" He couldn't defend her physically, not even if he tried. Compared to the other two, Cam was downright scrawny. But Cam would still do anything for Haley, if she asked, so he was there to defend her, or at least attempt to.

Bree was glad when Haley spoke up and expressed her opinion, both because she was glad the other girl wasn't too intimidated to do so and because she was from Silver. "Any objections?" she asked and when no one raised their hands she continued. "Then after clapping grab your pom poms and use them while stomping. During the last two stanzas, hold them tight against your hips as you do the snaking motions."
The altercation was getting louder, impossible to ignore and Haley moved over to confront the boys. Bree followed to lend support as representative from Gould. She nodded as Haley spoke, agreeing and not thinking of any way the points could have been made clearer. She waved when Cam entered. "Hi Cameron," she said casually and returned her attention to the more disruptive males.
"After practice you guys are welcome to pull out the mats and wrestle. Boxing is out because we need an adult to referee. If you can't deal with that and sit down quietly, then you will have to leave. I can get our coach from her office if you can't find your way out the doors," Bree said, cold fire in her eyes. She cared about Tyler, but no one was going to disrupt their practice.

Tyler had to admit, Haley did look good. He loved blondes, loved most girls really, but there was obvious appeal to a beautiful blonde girl in a skimpy cheerleading outfit and divinely long legs. He was not one to stare blatantly and make a sleazy nuisance of himself, unlike the guy he was arguing with, but if he was, she would certainly be a target of choice. He might have to get her aside after practice, invite her out. Since he and Maggy weren’t exclusive, he was planning on making full use of the freedom it allowed him.
“Pleasure to meet you Haley, I’m Tyler.” he introduced himself, trying his best to ignore the pain at his side, which was easier said than done, seeing how Xavier was near impossible not to notice, the way he was running off his mouth. “I’m sorry for the interruption. But a mud pit won’t be needed, thanks for the offer though.” he laughed lightly, pleased with the additional company and a pretty face to look at.
He noticed Bree start to make her way over to the three of them now, and it made him inwardly groan. Perhaps this was a bad day, bad timing to go and check on his friend. She seemed far from happy now. Women were far too complicated to deal with, much easier to date brief than attempt any long term relationship. Which was probably why Sloane and Bree were his only female friends.
But before he could speak to his friend, they were joined by another guy. And immediately, from the way he spoke to the way he stood near Haley, it was obvious this new guy, Cameron as Bree called him, was Haley’s boyfriend. It took all kinds really. Though he wasn’t one to judge, given he was dating a band girl. Cam joining them could prove to be in his favour, Tyler decided, if he played things right.
“Nothing is going on.” he reassured him, before Bree spoke up. He saw the fire in her eyes and smiled just slightly. She was coping quite well, it seemed, she would be Queen of the school before they all knew it. Her piece was certainly more than the once timid girl could have managed.
“Tempting, but I’ll think I’ll pass on the wrestling match. But thanks anyway Bree.” He smiled at just his friend now, before turning to speak to everyone. All except Xavier, still trying to pay as least attention to him as possible. “I’d much rather stay. Quietly, I promise. I’m just here to lend my support to Bree, as I’m sure you’re here to do the same for Haley, Cam.” He played the boyfriend card, trying to get his support at least. “Whereas...” he motioned towards Xavier with his shoulder, “Is here to just, well, perve, and attempt to pick up cheerleaders. You could see how I would be offended, and I was worried he could become a distraction. But, you’ll hear nothing more for me. Continue with your practice.”

Haley smiled at Tyler. He was rather cute. Not her type, but he was gorgeous nonetheless. Of course he only appealed to Haley in the look sense. Haley use to date the jocks and popular guys, or at least sleep with them, but they were never the kind of guys she really liked. Guys like Tyler and Xavier were good for flirting and sex, to be honest. But someone like Cam was so much more. Cam might not be as forward or as bold as some of the guys she knew, but something about him being shy, thoughtful and romantic, were way better.
"Pleasure to meet you Tyler." Haley said with a smile. She was flirting and she was aware of it, but its what she did. Flirting was not news to her, "Shame. I was actually looking forward to the mud pit." Haley said laughing. Then Bree walked over and Haley moved over a little to make room. Then Cam walked over. Haley gave Xavier a glance, and then gave Tyler a look and moved next to Cam. "Nothing wrong. i think we seem to have come to an understanding."
Haley looped her arm through Cams and gave him a quick kiss. He was her boyfriend and she was not trying to hide it anymore. Although granted she had already gotten grief about this from the Silver cheerleaders. Hopefully Gould would be nicer. "Thanks for coming. So you know Bree? How....nice." Haley said. Sure she faltered a little but she covered it up by coughing. So hopefully no one noticed, but Haley wondered just how Cam knew Bree.
Was Haley really jealous...over Cam...she shouldn't be. Haley had an ego and knew Cam would never dump her, well she thought Cam would enver dump her. And she did not want to get dumped right now, but still a tad flare of jealousy ran up her spine and made her blood boil. But Haley did not let it show at all. She kept the smile on her face and the sweetness in her voice. She listened as Tyler spoke. Either Tyler was lying or telling the truth. Either way Tyler was very convincing. "Well how nice of you Tyler. I have no objection to you being here, and I hope Bree does not object either. If you promise to be quiet, then I am fine with it. "

Cameron was glad when the guy, Tyler assured him that everything was okay. That was good. And even Haley seemed to be calming down from when he first came over to the group. After all, while he certainly didn't have anything on either of the two guys there, aside from brains, but then again there were few high schoolers that could beat him in that category, he still would have done anything to defend Haley, given the opportunity. "Good," he said, nodding.
"Oh hey, I didn't realize you were a cheerleader," Cam said to Bree. "Haley was the one I wanted to get involved with your brunch thingy, but we can talk about that later, you guys should go finish practice," he said, turning to Haley and returning her kiss. He couldn't help but smile. She'd kissed him in front of all the other cheerleaders and two guys whom, although he didn't know, was certain were higher on the social ladder than he was. He couldn't have been more elated.
"Uh yeah, she helped me out the other day when my car was giving me issues," he said with a shrug. It wasn't anything he'd been hiding from Haley, in fact he'd wanted to enlist Haley's help in helping out Bree, he just hadn't had a chance to talk to her about it yet. "But like I said, go back to practice, like he said," Cam said referring to Tyler since he didn't know the other boy's name, "we'll just watch, quietly, we promise," he smiled, giving Haley's arm a squeeze.
Had he arrived moments earlier, early enough to see Haley's quick flirtation with Tyler, he might not have been in such a good mood. He would never had said anything, but his mood certainly would have perished. But as he hadn't seen it, he had no reason to be jealous of the other boys. Especially because Haley was making it clear that she belonged to him. Something that he was still getting used to since he could still hardly believe that he was so lucky.

Tyler had crossed a line with Xavier. "And if I refuse?" He was still there in Tyler's face, like a fly bothering its victim. "I'm perfectly fine with what I do. Its assholes like you who really get on my last nerve!"
A small crowd had gathered around them, one would think the crowd was like buzzards circling over animals ready to expire. They seemed to be wanting action instead of the talkdown. That was when one of them asked if there was any trouble. Xavier saw the tiny kid from the corner of his eye. "Everything is just fine shortstack." He sneered slightly. His face turned about ten shades of red though when Tyler "exposed" exposed him in front of everyone. He tried his best to cover up though. "That, old chum, was a low blow." He chuckled slightly. "Any lower and we'd have to go private but I think you'd like that way too much."
Tyler was too much, alleged friends with one girl, flirting with another? And he called Xavier the perv? He rolled his eyes.
"Sorry for the intrusion, but any more of the sickening flirting and I'll need some insulin." He looked between Haley and Tyler and the kid he called shortstack.

Bree was glad that things seemed to be calming down, but then the Don Juan wannabe had to ruin everything. She lost her redheaded temper and rushed him sticking her finger in his face. "Listen you little cretin," she almost spit. "Today I am in charge of this gymnasium and I have had all I can take of your playboy aspirations. If you had asked nicely if you could have stayed, I would have allowed it, instead you feel like you have to insult people who don't deserve it. "
"Cameron may be shorter than you, but his IQ and breeding puts him far ahead of you on the food chain. Tyler is definitely all man and you shouldn't think because he is better looking than you are that means he is a back door man... Unless you are speaking out of wishful thinking. And as far as the flirting goes, I think you're upset because they have mastered something, you're just a pitiful noob at. Now... I will give you one more chance. Apologize and ask nicely and you can stay and watch quietly... If you don't I am going to get the coaches. Then you can explain to them about how penis envy has you acting like a complete idiot!"
Bree was totally pissed off and it was hard for her to step back without launching herself physically into Xavier. The real problem was that the boy resembled her late father way too much, but she had no reason to be frightened of him so just the anger came out. She had held it in for years and he was just unlucky enough to be the one to unleash it.

Candice knew her extracurricular activities were important but helping out in her father's law offices were more important to her. She wanted to follow in his footsteps and put the wrong doers behind bars for how ever long they were going for.
But with both schools combining and the need to raise the morale, there was a meeting of both cheer squads. Her father understood, in fact he encouraged her to go and practice. Work would always be there. She arrived back at the school and headed to the gym and walked in on time to see Bree blow up at Xavier.
No one ever pissed off a cheerleader...intentionally. She took the pepper spray from her bag that was hung loosely over her shoulder and headed to the small group.
She looked at Bree. "Deep breaths, ok? Just stay focused." She tried to demonstrate. "In with the good, out with the bad." She looked at Xavier.
"Now for you, I don't want to any sort of harm to you but if I have to I will." She was giving fair warning.
"Show me what you got sweet cheeks." Xavier dared her.
She gripped the pepper spray. "Eat Devil's Jockstrap!" and sprayed him directly in the eyes. He fled from the gym, his eyes red and stinging.
"Now where were we?" She asked as if nothing had happened.

Bree had to smile. Candy definitely had nerve and some attitude. "Thanks, that was great. I would probably have hit him and gotten brought up on charges or at least been suspended. I'm Bree Marcus." She recognized the other girl, but didn't know her personally.
"We have been practicing some new cheers. Are you on the Silver team? I am having a brunch on Saturday if you think you would like to come, we will be talking about a charitable project," she said softly. She thought she might enjoy getting to know Candy. She seemed serious in the same way she herself was.
"Haley... do you want to start the cheer you were going to lead?" Bree called out to the tall blonde girl who was still with Cameron and Tyler.
