After school she decided it was to nice to stay inside. On the way to Colby's house she convienced him to go to the beach after they dropped their stuff off at his place. She changed into more comfy clothes for the beach and made sure she had keys and phone the two most important things.
At the beach she held his hand as they walked onto the sand. "Thanks for agreeing to coming to the beach" she told him with a smile smile as she looked up at him. "It was just to nice to stay inside" she added letting her eyes sweep over the water.
"How does it feel to be fully healed?" she asked him. It was great to see him free of all bandages and bruises. And her bruises were gone. She even was having some therapy sessions that were going well. So right now life could not get any better. "And just think one day we will be getting married on this beach" she said happily. She could already see it all in her head, it would be wonderful because of who she was marrying. She did not want a big wedding a nice small intamate one was perfect.
"We could get married right at the waters edge and wear no shoes and just be in summer clothes but still looks like wedding wear if that makes sense" she said and laughed and smiled.

An afternoon at the beach sounded like a marvelous idea to Colby. He changed into a pair of clam digger shorts, a vertical striped maroon shirt, keeping a couple buttons opened and flip flops. He had his phone as well, and let her drive to the beach.
He held her hand in his. "Anytime spent with you is always worth it." He smiled back at her, gently kissing her. "It was a great idea." The sounds of the waves rolling in was relaxing.
"Its a exhilarating feeling, even if it is a little odd at first. I mean I go to itch or something and there's no bandage. Its taking some getting used to." He rested his head on her shoulder as they looked out over the ocean.
"I wanted to mention the wedding to you." He ran a hand over his messy brown locks. "With the events of Valentine's Day and now the school shootings, I really don't want to be far from you." He felt a little weak in the knees. "I had wondered about bumping up the date a bit more, I'm not talking like next week or something but maybe like in the next few months."

Catalina looked up at him a smile on her face at what he said. She and him were on the same wavelenght. All that happened made her more determined to be married sooner rather then later. "Colby" she said softly and hugged him. "I would love to move the wedding date up, I was actually hoping for that" she said to him honestly. "I am sure that your parents and my aunt and uncle won't mind" she smiled. She already saw her walking down the asile in her head. "We should tell them tonight the change of plans. And we have so much to plan" she said excitly. "Wait till I tell Izzy and Mal, and Si" laughing she kissed him softly on the lips. "And I am sure Izzy will want a picture soon for the paper" she laughed. She held on to him.
Finding a rock she went over and sat down and waited for him to join her. "Things have been rough but I would not take any of it back. Because of you" she said softly and looked up at him. "They brought me back to you and that is all that matters to me. I think we should write our own vows, we can say so much more then what the traditional vows say" she held his hand and leaned against him. It felt so perfect and so right being here with him like this. This moment would forever stick in her memory.
While it was on her mind she decided to send a quick text to Izzy, Mal, and Si so she would not forget later. She took out her phone and sent the message and put her phone back in her pocket.
