"Yeah...I guess that could work...then I could apply to the same schools as Haley or at least ones close by..." he thought. Okay maybe he and Haley hadn't been together that long, but he'd really like to think that they were going to make it in the long term. After all, he was never going to find anyone better than Haley. He knew that for a fact. He also knew that he could get into any school he wanted. He'd already been accepted to the all best schools in the country so of course any of the lesser universities would take him as well. And working for a year...that was interesting...he was sure he could find something he could do...perhaps research or something...Cam was a prime candidate to get the funds for that sort of thing, after all...
"Yeah, of course," Cameron said, really hoping that Haley would be into the idea. If she wasn't, then he knew that he wouldn't be able to get anyone else to help out. He might be able to convince Wynn who in turn could possibly convince his friends but it wouldn't be the same as getting the popular kids. If he got the popular kids everyone else would follow suit. It was just how it was. "Thanks," he said taking the invitation to the brunch. "Yeah...I'll see who I can round up." If nothing else he could always try and convince these people that something like this would look awesome on their college applications.
"Yeah...I do really enjoy it, but I don't think it's something I'd want to do long term...or if I did it would have to be part time. I need something more challenging when it comes to a full time job," he explained. After all working at the planetarium wasn't exactly a challenge. He nodded when she told him about her father. "I think a lot of adults are like that," he said. "Is...taking over his business what you really want? If it is that's awesome...but if not...maybe you should look into something else so you don't turn out the same way." He didn't mean to step out of line or anything in saying it, however saying your father was never truly happy was a big statement and she'd also said that she was going to take over the business. It would just be a shame if she knowingly followed the same path.
