Beach side antics (Open: Jere.)

Jade had broken some of his hospital insistent rules, ie driving before he had allowed his shoulder to heal properly, but he was bored and really did not want to be stuck in the house this evening. He had taken the more responsive car so he didn't actually have to do much and set it to automatic. His mother had told him it was a very bad idea, which he found out when he got out of the car and immediately had to yelp with pain.

"I should have walked." he said as he slid his arm into the sling. "That was a really bad idea." Jade said to himself as he called home asking for one of the cooks to come pick up his car and take it back to the house.

Twenty minutes later he was walking down the beach an ice cream in one hand, wish he had brought his pain medication with him when he left the house. The house was not that far away, easily a walkable distance, or he could get a cab back if he so desired. He found a good spot with only a few people still using the stretch of the beach. He kicked his sandals of his feet and dug his toes into the sand.

He had seen Jeremy a few times during the day, but they had both been pretty darn busy today, that and he had to rush from the school at the end of the day if he had wanted a lift home from his brother.

Jeremy was happy for a short rehearsal for today. At least they didn't cover the love scene with Cable and Liat, that was something he was NOT looking forward to. He'd try to teach Julia how to do the fake kiss, without making it look too odd.

There was not a chance he was going to stay inside for the night. He headed to the beach, deciding on a run thinking he should be in decent shape for the show. He arrived and found a decent parking space.

He got out of his car and pulled off the jogging pants and his t-shirt, exposing his build. He noticed a few people giving him looks.

He popped in his earbuds and started down the beach, a nice gentle rhythm keeping him on track. He bound along with not a care in the world except for Jade. A part of him wanted to say that he was in love with him, but something was holding him back. Probably the fact he didn't want to scare him off.

As he trod down the beach, there sat a familiar figure eating ice cream. he couldn't resist himself. He jogged up to him. "You need some help with that?"

He looked up to see Jeremy lowering the sun glasses that were planted on his nose he smiled, "Hey Jeremy, your about the last person I expected to see down here tonight. A most welcome sight you are though." Jade said with a grin, he knew that his boyfriend had practice this evening. He simply had no idea how long it would last, and though he would be happy to sit through them occassionally he couldn't sit through them all and still hope to keep his sanity at the end. "Pull up a piece of sand." he said to him.

Jade watched him for a little while, not speaking but knowing he really didn't have to, "I've not stopped thinking about you all day, Sarah tried to distract me for a while at lunch but well that hardly ever works." Jade said to him. "How was your rehearsal?" Jade asked him with a smile, he knew that one scene in particular was uncomfortable for his boyfriend, he also understood why it would be to. Kissing your twin was gross to any one who had a twin. He shifted and yelped as his arm let him know that it was not at all happy with him for doing whaat he had been told not to do.

Jade looked so damned hot in his sunglasses. He had that man of mystery look about him. Someone had been watching out for him and said 'Go see your other half and show some skin as well!' He grinned. "Yeah just blocking scenes and the chorus was working with the music director. He sat down next to him. "So I though I should get in shape for the show."

"Funny, I was the same way today. I missed seeing you and being with you." His hand gently touched Jade's. "Rehearsal was rather uneventful, no one lost an eye or anything." he laughed slightly. Thankfully they hadn't reached the kissing scene...yet. There was still time to coach Julia and tell her to think about someone she had feelings for when she kissed him, hopefully that would help. If not then who the horrible nicknames would stick with them.

Jeremy flinched when Jade yelped. "You ok, what happened?" It hadn't occurred
to Jeremy how Jade got to the beach. "You didn't drive here did you? After all the last thing I want to do is to have to tie you down to your bed." He winked at him.

Jade blushed as he took his sun glasses of to look at Jeremy, he had been caught red handed doing the one thing he was not supposed to do for a few more weeks yet. What was worse he knew that Jeremy knew he had been doing something that he shouldn't be doing.

"Call it being Irish and stubborn." Jade said to him. "What I could do with right now, is a ice pack and a cold coke or better yet beer." he said to him with a smile. "I'm fine Jeremy, I knew full well what could happen to me if I decided to drive down here, now I have to live with the discomfort for a little while. I had a cook from the house come down and pick my car up, I tell you that is a scarier prospect than actually driving myself home." he said to the boy wincing at the thought that his car could get into a number of accidents between the beach and the house. He knew the car had a kick to it, but unless you actually drove it you didn't know just how much of a kick the car had.

"That wince was from the thought that someone was driving a car which has far more power than your average road vechile, I was imaging my car getting banged up." he said with a grin. "I am honestly fine, but I love that your concerned about my own stupidty." Jade said to him with a warm smile showing that the little ride earlier had done little to dampen his spirit. "I have something for you." he said to him feeling the time was right for a diversion as he tucked his hand into his pocket with drawing what had been there all day. "I had thought to give you this last night, but by the time we left the rehearsal, I had completely forgotten that it was in my pocket." Jade said to him smiling as he handed the necklace over, it was a simple thing really, it was expensive he knew that but it was beautiful.

Jade took a deep breath his hands shaking slightly he was not sure it was the best idea in the world to come clean to Jeremy but then he needed to say it anyway.

"I'm in love with you." Jade said to him softly eyes closed not daring to look at the boy.
