Character Name: Cassius Weslan
Nickname: Cas
Age: 15
Birthday: March 8th
Place of birth: Los Angeles
School: Gould
Grade: Sophomore
Appearance: Standing at a modest 5'9", Cassius easily blends well with the crowd with his always combed down dark brown hair and dull blue eyes. His body is a bit on the scrawny side, betraying the athlete he actually is outside school. He's usually in t-shirts and jeans. Nothing about him truly stands out.
Personality: He's basically a normal teenage boy, avoids and is avoided by the popular crowd. He is quite witty and has an affable disposition. He's the type of person you pass the hallway without a second glance and he's quite okay with that. He's strongly loyal to the few friends he has and he struggles to keep his grades up.
He's a mama's boy. He's helpful and shows quite a considerable amount of respect and courtesy to his elders and disabled people. He grew up being taught to be a gentleman and he's stuck to his morals throughout his whole life and he's not about to change that for anything.
Town Area: El Segundo
Job: None
Transportation: Public transportation
Family Background and History: Father (absent) Gray Weslan - 47
Mother Anna Kirby - 35
Sister Casey Weslan - 10
Uncle Adam Kirby - 40
His father skipped out on their family when Casey was just born and Cas' mother brought her two kids to live with her eldest brother. The two brought the two Weslan siblings up together, Adam welcoming them with open arms and immediately taking up the role of father to his niece and nephew.
Adam's strict hand and Anna's gentle upbringing worked successfully in raising two perfectly functional children.
Cas once asked his mother if he could see his father but he was declined by both his parental units. He was disappointed and almost rebelled but Adam only had to give him a look and he backed off the subject, accepting the fact that he would never see his father. Til now, he had never asked his mom or uncle why his father left them.

Face Claim: Cameron Bright
Player: Nu
Writing Sample: "I think I'm in love with her." The flushed look on his face told me everything without him even saying it. I was doomed. The boy I have been pining for was in love with my sworn enemy.
"Who?" intelligent me feigned ignorance, hoping he would catch the hint that I was not in the mood to talk. Thick-headed him continued. "Leia. I'm in love with Leia. Help me, girl!"
She has a name and I'm...girl?
"What do you want?" I'm quite surprised and very proud of the fact that despite everything that was happening, I was still under control; cool and calm.
"Talk to her for me. I mean you're girls...you talk don't you?" he asked. Thickheaded idiot.
If by talk you mean gouging each other's eyes out and ripping each other's hair and clothes apart then yeah sure we talk...a LOT.
"Yeah we talk." I answer simply. And then the puppy dog eyes come out; those light blue irises surrounded by intense black, hands up in a clasped manner, full lips pouting.
Uh oh. No...don't succumb to his every whim like you always do whenever that look surfaces. Oh girl, give yourself some respect. Where is your dignity and pride? Don't say yes...girl don't...say...
"Sure, I'll talk to her."
No...
His whole body visibly lights up; his eyes shine, his smile widens, the hands come up to my head and ruffle my hair, just like petting a puppy. My God. I am his bitch.
I single-handedly brought the term puppy love to a whole new level.
Great.
