[Character Name: Trixie Michaels] [Location: Corner of the Caf]
Stitches sucked. They sucked ass. They itched like crazy and not to mention it still fucking hurt. Why because it was still tender. Although she would get the stitches out hopefully tomorrow and if not then Friday at the latest, but either way she wanted them out. However the wound had to heal, or rather the skin did. It was a whole disgusting story to be honest, but long story short is she wanted then out.
To be honest Trixie was not really frustrated over stitches. Her brother was driving her crazy. He was insisting that DJ had something to hide. Now Trixie was no saint. She had a tone to hide, but Jay was insisting it was bad and he would find out what it was. Trixie told him to leave it alone, but Jay was not leaving it alone. Something was wrong with her brother and she had no idea what and quite frankly with the play rehearsals, the doctors appointment soon and a new boyfriend....semi boyfriend Trixie was too tired to deal with Jay's crap. Especially after the whole seeing Nate and DJ close, almost kissing, or what ever he saw, but did not see. It was just too much. So right now Trixie was in the last place her brother would look. The cafe.
Trixie was not intending to be alone on purpose, but this was the first seat she grabbed. If someone joined her she was very happy for that, depending on who it was. She was still a bitch. DJ might have gotten semi through, but it did not mean the ice queen was gone. She still had plenty of ice for those beneath her. Heaven forbid if they try to sit next to her, and as she thought that Trixie felt a shadow fall over her head as she looked down and continued to read the book that was in her lap. Trixie did not even look up as she spoke, "State your name and purpose for standing there?"

Eddie froze. The last thing he expected was for Trixie to react like that upon his approach. Maybe she was just having a bad day, and he didn't want to make things worse. Maybe, though, he could help her out. He really hoped the two of them could be friends, there was little worse than not getting along with the person playing your romantic interest in a play.
“Umm, hey Trixie. It's me. Eddie.” He swallowed hard. They had barely gotten the chance to talk the night previous, and Eddie had no clue how to break the ice with this girl. A straightforward approach was really his only choice. “Is it cool if I sit down? I figured we better get to know one another.” He shifted his weight uncomfortably.
The first night in LA had seemed so great, but things had been pretty downhill since then. He didn't have anyone to hang out with, and he felt way too uncomfortable to call a lot of the people he met out of the blue to hang out. Especially since most of them, like Julia and Mom, were girls. Everyone already seemed to have a group of friends and at best he caught on to the fringes of those groups. And the hope that being the lead in the play might earn him some respect (or at least attention!) died the first night of rehearsal when few people talked to him. Julia did, and the other girl Riley seemed nice, but they seemed to be more interested in being ensemble members together than in Eddie being the lead. And then Julia was given a bigger part! Eddie didn't crave attention like a lot of theatre kids, but he would have liked at least some recognition! Perhaps if he sought a friendship with Trixie things would get easier for him.
He waited patiently for her response, hoping she agreed. Otherwise the next few weeks would only get worse.

Eddie,Eddie, that name sounded familiar some how, but how. Trixie finally looked up to get a look at the guy. She could smell the new blood. Which meant he had not been here long. Then again this was Gould's School, so she could be wrong and the guy could have been here for years, but something about him screamed new. She knew what it was like to be the new kid. Struggling to find a spot. Trying to find ones group. She had found hers easily. Finally is dawned on her. He was from the play. She vaguly remebered seeing him at the first rehersal. Now Trixie had two options. She could be the ice queen she was known for and tell this man to hit the road and never come back......
Or she could actually be semi nice, since she kind of understood. Again she could be totally wrong and the guy just looks new but is really the loner no body notices for years. Either way the guy looked too pathetic to be mean to him. Eddie seemed like a lost puppy dog looking for someone to throw him a bone. Why not? Especially if the guy was in the play then he had a point, they should get to know one another. Now if only she could remember what part he played.
Trixie smiled instantly and let out a laugh, "Sorry. For a moment I thought you might be my brother and I am kind of avoiding him. So please have a seat." Trixie said being genuinly nice. Eddie seemed like a good guy so why not. "Sorry if I seemed rude, but my brother does not always get the picture unless I am that way." Which was true. She turned to face him a little more. She crossed one leg over the other. What a day to wear a skirt. Trixie pulled her black mini skirt down a little as she continued to talk, "Okay please do not hate me for asking, but what part do you play again? I know you said it in the rehersal, but that rehersal was so crazy I was lucky to remember which part I had at the end, but first rehersals are always like that. The next will be smoother hoprfully.." She laughed a little to symbolize she was joking. Although it was true. That first rehersal was crazy.

Eddie brightened up when Trixie explained herself. He had a brother and he definitely knew what that was like sometimes. He chuckled a bit. “Yeah, I hear you. I have an older brother.” Eddie took a seat next to Trixie. Not a bad start, finding something in common. He'd have to remember that if they ever got held up on coversation.
He couldn't help but notice when Trixie tugged on her skirt. He had recognized right away last night that she was very hot, something that he was both thankful for and intimidated by. On stage he would be fine, but this right here, just talking to her regularly, this would be filled with anxiety. He just hoped he didn't make a huge ass of himself. He began arranging his tray, getting ready to eat, when she asked a question that really bothered him.
What role did he have? Really? Was she paying attention at all last night? Eddie was quite a bit put out, though he didn't show it outwardly. The last thing he wanted was for her to think he was completely into himself. Maybe the rehearsal had been a little more crazy than normal, and people were in and out of the room to go over songs, and they never actually sang any of their duets. And she was usually on the the other side of the room...
But still, it was at least somewhat insulting that his romantic opposite didn't even give a thought about him last night. He sucked it up and answered her. “Umm,” he started tentatively. He didn't want to offend her. “I play Emile de Becque. We sort of have to sing together and stuff. You're my Nellie.”

Trixie eyed him and smiled when he mentioned the older brother. So he would understand the ass of a brother, although hers was a twin and they defiantly had that twin ESP because she knew Jay was planning something, but what, was the question. “I believe brothers are put on this earth to be a pain in the ass.” She laughed. Although she loved her brother he was a pain in the ass. Trixie eyed Eddie for a moment. He was cute, in that lost boy sort of way. It was more adorable, actually. Not her type, but that’s was not a problem for Trixie. She would flirt with him either way. However, when Eddie mentioned what rolled he played. He was ‘Emile’ and she was his ‘Nellie’ Trixie could almost kick herself. She just looked like the biggest idiot in the world for that question. She should have known that of all things.
Trixie smiled at Eddie, “I hope you forgive me for not remembering that. I am glad you are my ‘Emile’. I think this will be a good play with us in the lead.” Trixie commented with a smile. She meant it to. It could be worse. Emile could be some, grungy, emo kid who felt dressing in all black was fashionable. Eddie, looked clean cut and cute, so he would be a good lead. This would be interesting. Of course Trixie could think of hotter guys for the role, but she would rather the guy be a good actor then hot and sexy. Why? Because Trixie was very proud to be Nellie and she wanted to have a guy play the lead that could act and if Eddie got the lead, then odds are he could act, hopefully. So far she liked what she saw and Eddie did seem very nice.
“I think we do more than sing.” She winked. Trixie leaned forward slightly, as she began to speak, “I am very excited about this play. I think it will be fun and it gives me something to so, not to mention I can meet new people. I have a tendency to stick to my own crowd, so I am trying to branch out. Make new friends, or try to.” Well branch out as much as she could. Mostly she just was bored and wanted something else to do. This could be entertaining. She felt bad being a bitch to such a nice guy. He did not deserve it. Not like some other people had. So Trixie gave him a soft smile as she relaxed a little, “So tell me about yourself?”

The relationship Eddie had with his brother was generally a good one. Sure, there were times when he was a giant pain in the butt, and more than once he had made Eddie feel like a complete idiot, but overall he loved his brother and would not trade him for the world. So he couldn't really agree with Trixie's theory on brothers. He also, however, did not want to look like a complete tool and rub in her face that his brother was a cool guy that he got along well with. Instead, he simply smiled and nodded and took a bite of his cafeteria macaroni and cheese, hoping the subject would change.
“It's okay, don't worry about it,” Eddie smiled. He really hoped that this girl wasn't dumb as a box of rocks. It would suck to have to act opposite an idiot that gave him nothing. His concern was valid as she was very pretty and may have been cast solely because of her look. Though Eddie really hoped the director did not cast that way, otherwise what might that say about him? “I hope it's good too. I guess I don't really know what to expect here.”
He blushed when the very pretty girl winked at him, and he definitely picked up on what she meant. “Yeah, we're, uh... romantic. Together.” It was about the least awkward way he could put it. He didn't want her to think that he was overly excited about kissing her. Not that he was trying to date her or anything, but he didn't want to be viewed in this school as some creep-o who just auditioned so he could kiss girls. Especially hot girls like Trixie. “And yeah, I hope it helps me meet new people too. Though pretty much everyone is new to me, I just moved here. From Iowa.” He'd already met a few people in LA that didn't quite know where or what Iowa was, so he hoped she didn't strike out on this one. So far the most common stupid response was, “Hey, isn't that the place with the potatoes?” Eddie never knew if people were thinking of Idaho or Ireland, or if thinking one or the other was worse!
“You wanna know about me?” Eddie was surprised. Trixie seemed to be honestly interested in who he was, and that was a good start. If they had any chemistry together, he figured he'd find out soon. “Umm, from Iowa. I did a lot of theatre there, I play baseball. My mom got hired as the Women's Athletic Director at USC, so we moved out here. I guess it's kinda cool, but it's hard, too, you know?” He shrugged, not really knowing what to say. I'm very, very lonely was never good for a conversation. “I miss my friends, but I'm excited to be in LA. I mean, it's way better than the middle of nowhere.” That basically covered it, as much as he could think of at least.
Eddie smiled and looked Trixie in her gorgeous blue eyes. He hadn't noticed her eyes right away and they were absolutely entrancing. He realized he was staring and looked away, blushing again. “So how about you?” he asked, hoping she didn't notice him stare.

Trixie was very confident in her acting ability. She acted every damn day of her life. She walked around wearing a mask and acting like a bitch and an ice queen. When she was younger Trixie had been the nicest person in the world. But years of pain and being abused by her dad and having to put on a brave face at school, until her father died had taught her how to act and manipulate. So she would pull off the perfect Nellie in her opinion, she just hoped Eddie could do the same for Emile. "I love plays. Granted this is my first one to act in, but the timing was perfect with cheer leading. Plus I am off the team for a bit so." Her wound took her out for just a little bit. Even though she technically auditioned prior to, still.
Trixie just smiled more. She saw the blush. "Romantic is a good way to put it...practicing that should be fun." She said with a small laugh. "I think it will be fun. I promise to always chew gum prior so my breath will be fruity." She said with a smirk and a raised eye brow. She wanted him to wonder how serious she was.
"Iowa....the Hawk eye State.." She claimed. Trixie was smarter then she seemed. "Nice place. Never been there, but I was one of those children that use to pick random states to runaway to. I am originally from Salem. Moved here about a year and a half ago." Trixie figured she would offer very minimal information. Nothing that was not already around school if he asked. "I live with my grandmother. She is one of those actresses that still thinks she can act." Trixie said with a smile. Her grandmother could be adorable, but also very naive.
Trixie locked eyes with Eddie as she spoke. Another flirt like move for her. "LA is defiantly a big place. Salem was pretty small too, so i was not use to LA when I first moved, but you adapt quickly. once you find your place, so to speak."

Eddie thought he had recognized Trixie as one of the people who had gotten injured in the shooting. What crazy luck Eddie had, the first day of class in LA and there was a shooting. That was also the day he had met Brittany, whom he hadn't really spoken to since. He was kinda disappointed, since she seemed so cool, but she had a boyfriend so it's not like it would have worked out. But she was really cute.
“Well I'm glad I could be in your first!” Eddie smiled, though to himself he was a little worried. She had never been in a play before? She must have gotten the lead based on looks. Though if he starts off with low standards, maybe he'll be surprised. And she did seem like a good partner for the kissing parts. She even promised to keep her breath fresh!
“Ha, well, don't worry too much about that. I've been in a number of scenes where there was a horribly awkward kiss, so I can deal.” Eddie began thinking about the classes he took back in Iowa. No doubt there were tons better out here, but he would always look back on Dr. Gouran's classes and remember a cantankerous old man that brought out the best in Eddie on stage. “One scene I had to kiss a girl like thirty seconds after I had thrown a handful of peanuts in my mouth. I swear I've never chewed faster!”
Trixie's eyes focused on Eddie, and again he found himself staring at her as she talked about moving to LA. “Yeah,” he mumbled, then realized he probably just sounded like an idiot. He looked back at his food, and just before taking a bite replied, “I'm hoping I find a place quick.” He took his time chewing, not really knowing where to go from there. He had gotten some good info from her, though. She, like him, was not a native. He liked that about her, it made her feel a bit more relateable.
“So...” Eddie tried to think of something to say, but was drawing blanks. She was from Salem, she lived with her grandmother, she had a brother, she was a cheerleader. What else? “Do you do anything besides cheerleading? And now theatre, I guess. Like, sports or clubs or anything?”

Trixie felt very confident that she could pull off being Nellie. When she did something she took it very seriously. Besides she was a cheerleader, she could do what ever the hell she wanted. She could run this damn school, even if Gould was not her school, so she would have to wait till they got back to Silver for that. "Well I have kissed guys, who were bad kissers and with bad breath, so I welcome a good kisser with good breath, even if it is peanuts, for once." With all the practice he ad in the previous plays he mentioned, he should be good....right. "See peanuts are good for one thing. They make a good, quick snack. I just love nuts." Trixie said with a soft laugh.
Yes she said that on purpose. Call her vulgar all you want, but it was funny to throw something like that out there to see how people would react. It was fun and Trixie loved to make people freak out, or feel uncomfortable, or hell maybe Eddie would not react at all. To top it off Trixie maintained eye contact, until he broke it as he spoke. "You should find your niche sooner or later. Depends on what you like. I hate to say it, but LA has the same stereotypes as all the other school. But there are people here will to branch out to other sterotypes...but mostly we stick to our own."
Trixie felt bad for saying that, but it was true. "But thats another reason for joining the play. So many stereotypes in one place. Like a big version of the breakfast club. What a movie..." Trixie informed Eddie. "I have a fake ID So i love the bar and club scene. But I have to say, there is nothing like a good day of roller blading, drag racing.... or surfing...I mean now thats fun. I like being outdoors. Can't stand being stuck inside. What about you? What do you like to do for fun?"
