Now that Kian had a contract for his part as Drew the effeminate bar waiter, he didn’t feel the need to dress as him everyday, though he might need refreshers closer to shooting. He had faxed a design of the tattoo he wanted, a black panther with wings, to the studio and now was eagerly awaiting approval so he could get the tatt done that weekend.
Hence the young Irish American was dressed in Levis 505 buttonfly jeans, a football style jersey in forest green and a pair of ‘chucks’ that were more tear than sneaker. He was obviously in a good mood, practically beaming really as he walked to the spot where he and Connor had started meeting for lunch most days.
Kian picked a piece of wall to lean against and watched the students move passed towards wherever their lunch plans took them. Some he smiled idly at, most he maintained a rather bland expression, but others, his eyes glittered hotly beneath a lowered brow. Kian was usually seen as a pleasant person, but he held a lot of emotion inside and much of it was held towards the ones who abused those weaker than themselves in whatever way.

It wasn’t really a big deal meeting Kian’s friends, Connor had spent all morning trying to convince himself. After all, it wasn’t like it was his boyfriend’s family, he’d be much more of a nervous wreck if it was that. He normally wasn’t this bad with things like this, but seeing how Kian was his first serious boyfriend, and he was actually hoping things would work out between them, getting on with his friends and family being a big part of that, the nerves were starting to get to him. And then came the annoyance at feeling nervous, and more nerves when he couldn’t stop feeling nervous or annoyed. And then stupid.
And the fact he’d once taken photos of Patch and Evan getting a beat down (and then later sharing those photos with Julia while they both laughed hysterically over them, but luckily that was not commonly known) was something he doubted would work in his favour. The fight was embarrassing on the guys behalf, hilarious, but embarrassing, and no one would surely want documentation of that. Then again, they seemed to be a bit on the ... different side, so they might think it funny too. Hopefully.
Then Connor caught sight his boyfriend waiting, smiling as he moved over to him. This shouldn’t go to bad at all, he tried to remind himself, nothing to worry about. And if he spotted Julia around, he’d drag her, and whoever she was with, into the group. “Hey.” he greeted, brushing a soft kiss against his lips.

Kian noted the faintly worried look on Connor's handsome face as he approached but was thrilled when it changed to a sunshiney smile at seeing him. "Hey Handsome," he said and was kissed and nothing else mattered. "I missed you," he said softly. They had parted the night before after some heavy duty petting. It had been the hardest leave taking he had ever suffered through. Sleep had been very very difficult. He kept his arm around Connor as they began to walk to the place they were to meet Patch and the others.
"Did you sleep all right?" Kian asked, wondering if he had been the only one suffering from their separation. "I didn't fall asleep until about four a.m. and then the twins bounced on me at six. I almost threw them out my window."
They were nearing the meeting spot and Kian began to look for evidences of his gang. They were too chaotic to always choose the exact same spot, just a general vicinity.

“Missed you too.” Connor grinned, moving his arm in turn around Kian’s waist, ignoring the few looks they got, but overall they passed basically noticed. It was one good thing about Gould, few people seemed to care, or be offended, by homosexuality. Which was a very, very good thing in this circumstance, as he could see himself having trouble trying to keep his hands to himself, though this was pretty tame, by anyone’s standards.
As if almost on cue, he yawned, laughing when it passed. “I got a few hours. Couldn’t stop thinking about you.” he admit, squeezing the boy’s side softly. “Sleep is overrated. Besides, far too curious about what we’re getting up to this afternoon anyway, before our picnic. Come on, just a hint, a little, tiny hint, please?” he grinned, trying to give Kian his best puppy dog look. “Please?”
He didn’t see any of his boyfriend’s friends, so he assumed they weren’t there yet. Because from what he’d seen of them, his friends were pretty hard to miss, by sound and sound. And the relative quiet just helped to backup his thoughts. Plus, no great mess, and from what he heard, great messes seemed to follow two of them in particular. “Are we meeting your friends here?”

It was very hard to deny Connor anything while looking into his absolutely gorgeous eyes, but Kian somehow managed it. "It's bigger than a breadbox," he teased as his parents had at Christmas time when they would bug them for hints to their presents. "I don't want to ruin the surprise. I am pretty sure you are going to love it though," he said with a grin.
"Let's sit on this bench while we wait," Kian said and pulled him onto his lap for a deep kiss. He moaned as their lips met and he twined his fingers in Connor's dark curly hair. "I don't know how I survived before I met you." Of course he was exhausted and hornier than he had ever been before, but being with Connor made all that worthwhile. His only danger was that it was likely he would be distracted from his acting.

“Bigger than a breadbox? That’s not fair, it could be nearly anything!” Connor protested, though it quickly became obvious that Kian wasn’t going to give in so easily. “Alright, alright, I’ll be patient, you’re just lucky that I don’t have to wait too long, or I’d really start pestering you.” he teased. “I love surprises though, and I’m sure I’ll love yours.” He had spent a bit of time thinking about the surprise the previous night. Not a lot of time, most of it was reserved for thoughts of his boyfriend, and how good it was that he actually had a boyfriend, but he had put some effort into trying to work out the surprise, and came up blank. So he was really looking forward to their afternoon, for more than one reason.
The kiss pretty much guaranteed that he would forget about the surprise for at least a couple of hours yet. And Connor grinned much too wildly when they finally broke away. Just something about his hair being played with that he really liked. “Yeah, I don’t know either.” he teased, before giving in and returning his affection with another kiss. But before he could say anything, a very loud interruption turned up.

Evan’s morning anti-candy craze had been pretty much forgotten, the teenager munching on his third piece, a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, for the last hour. It wasn’t his fault though, he took no responsibility over his current stuffing of his face. Everyone would be easily able to tell it was all DJ’s fault. He was the one who had gotten the idea of candy, glorious candy, back into his head, so he was the one to be blamed. Or rather thanked, candy was awesome. The guy was pretty cool too, he figured, for a jock.
And so absorbed in his eating habits, he almost forgot what he was meant to be doing. But the sight of two guys making out on a nearby bench reminded him, and he rushed over cheerily to his friend, and the other guy, possible friend dude. “Hey, cut that out already. Patch already glares at me if I even think about kissing Brit, with two loved up couples around, he might just lose it.” he laughed, slapping Kian enthusiastically on the shoulder. “He’s just over there by the way, with everyone else.” he pointed to the direction he came from. “Guarding our prime lunch spot. Hey photo dude. So come on, come on.” He chuckled impatiently, dancing from foot to foot.

Kian pushed Connor to his feet. "Photo Dude, this is one of my best buds, Evan Hughes. Evan this is my beloved photo dude, Connor Pierce. He took Connor's hand and began to walk with Evan towards the current prime lunch spot. "So I guess it is going well with Brittany then?" he half asked/half stated. It was an odd relationship but seemed to work well, which was the important thing. "I miss her bright orange hair though, it helped wake me up in the mornings."
"I think we should spike Patch's drink with an aphrodisiac next party. He might become more tolerant if he experienced what overwhelming horniness feels like," Kian said with a sigh, wishing he and Connor got beyond making out, but still rather afraid of it as well. He didn't want to ruin things by rushing them either.
