[Character: Alex Bridgerton] [Location: The girl kicking a tree]
Last night has been a good night. Alex got to watch Kai for a bit and take him out to the park. She had a blast with her son. It was great. Alex was unaware of Ashley's latest girlfriend. Even if she knew, what could she say. She dug her grave thanks to her father. Sooner or later she would have to move on, but for now her feelings were still there, just buried deep because they were not her current focus. her parents were at it again. Empty threats. All Empty threats.
One threat after another. Her father always did use intimidation to get what he wanted. If only she had known it sooner, maybe things could be different. But so far things were okay. Alex was proving herself to Ashley's parents, even if they would probably never like her, she was proving herself to Ashley and most importantly she was proving herself to her son. Thats all that mattered right not. Not these stupid threats. But they kept coming. However, in addition now Alex's dad was spreading lies. Well in her opinion they were lies. Right now Alex's father was saying that he was going to contact Ashley and prove to Alex that Ashley wants her gone just as much as he wants her to come home.
Either way the morning that started off with Alex having a smile on her face, turned to a frown as Alex arrive at school. She was on the phone as she got out of the car arguing with her father. Alex repeatedly told him he better not contact Ashley, but her father was saying soon Alex would see she was not welcome in California. Finally Alex hung up the phone and threw her book bag down along with the phone. She was near a tree in the school yard. Alex looked at the tree and kicked. Ouch! Alex jumped around as her foot throbbed which ended up with her falling and landing on her ass in front of someone. "Bloody Hell, I want to return to bed this instant and wake up all over again." She commented as she looked up.

Greg was looking over the script for 'Grease' it seemed they thought he'd be good as the Teen Angel since, after all, he was supposed to be a teen heart throb. He didn't mind, at least he had a fun song in the show!
As he nosed through it, and wondering if they would also use him in the chorus, he saw Alex, the girl from a few days ago. To see the look on his face, it was easy to tell he liked her. His smile turned to a grimace when he saw her throw her things down.
He started going over to her to see if she was alright that was until she kicked the tree and flopped on her butt.
That made him scurry over.
"Hey Alex, everything ok? I saw you giving smackdown to the tree and it looked like the tree won." He said keeping the mood light. He got down on the ground and started to gather her things.
"Anything you want to talk about or get off your chest?" Not the best choice of words to use with a girl. "I'm always willing to listen, or even give a shoulder to cry on and I won't hurt your foot if you kick me."

Alex smiled and let out a small giggle as he told her the tree won, "Well in this case Goliath did win, I believe." She smirked. "Note to ones self when fighting make sure its not against something that is suppose to be stationary." She smiled as she watched Greg gather her things up. He was so sweet and really cute. Which was always a plus for her. However, now she must look like a total maniac in his eyes. Kicking a tree was not proper behavior.
"I promise not kick wail on you with my foot, you do not deserve it. I was somehow magically hoping the tree would morph into my father. However no such luck. Perhaps if I was like in those Harry Potter books." Alex said with a laugh as she looked at Greg once again, "Thank you very much for the help. I could use someone to talk to." She said. Alex just blushed slightly at the chest comment. She did not mind too much that he said it. Actually she did not mind at all.
"Could you please help me up?" Alex asked extending her hand with a kind smile. Once she was standing she brushed off her ass and her shirt. Alex turned around and looked back at Greg, "Am I clean?" She asked. She waited for an answer before turning back and taking her things gently back from Greg, "My father is driving me bonkers. I mean bloody hell, I am a adolescent and I can make my own decisions. I know parents think they know what is best for their children, however, my father would rather control my life through threats and intimidation. I got frustrated and that poor tree became my target, even if it is not as defenseless as I originally thought." Alex said. She locked eyes with Greg giving him another kind smile and a silent thank you for letting me rant and not thinking I am crazy.

"Maybe its better that way, I'd be heading for the hills if the tree tried to kick me back or worse." Greg said, noting her giggle which he thought was cute. He figured there had to be motivation for kicking the tree, you just don't question it unless they keep doing it.
"More trouble? Sorry to hear that." And he was sorry, she was too cute to be dealing with such troubles like she was. "Just being a gentleman for a damsel in distress." He felt himself blush at his own comment.
Greg took her soft delicate hand and helped her up. He watched as she brushed herself off trying hard not to stare at her butt, as so many teen boys would do. "You look...great." He replied for lack of a better word.
"Sounds like he doesn't want you to be growing up and is doing what he can to keep you under his thumb." Although getting pregnant at a young age probably didn't help her case.
Greg met her eyes and for that brief moment was speechless. "Maybe I should walk with you to your first class, just to make sure you aren't seriously injured."

"A nice young man and a chivalrous a rare find in deed." She said with a smile as he offered to walk her to class to make sure she was okay. "If I am injured I am very happy you are here to offer me your support." Alex had no idea who Greg was. She did not know that she was in the presence, of royalty. Or so thats what movie stars equivalent to in England. In London you had royalty. In America you have movie stars.
"I understand I have made some unkind choices in my life, but that dos not mean my father must control it." She began. Her accent coming out. How could it now. Unless she spoke in a very, very soft voice it was hard not to hear the British part of her. "He had always been that kind of man. I grew up in high society in London. Image is everything." Alex explained.
"So you can imagine what it does to an imagine when your teenage daughter gets pregnant. I did not want to leave my son two years ago, but I was forced. Unfortunately my father made some not so kind threats, and he was capable of acting on each one." Alex assured Greg. See she could tell him because he was not involved. He was not Ashely and she already trusted him not to say anything.
"I finally realized that I could no longer stay away from my son, so I have returned, much to my fathers dismay. He is trying to force me home. Any means necessary, but I plan to stand my ground." She assured Greg. He really was cute. She could not help but blush when around him. "I do not want to leave. I have my son, and people I have met like you. Everyone has been so kind. However that is enough about me. Please tell me about you. I would love to get better aquainted."

"Its especially tough in this day and age, everyone seems to look out for themselves. Besides I have a litt umm younger sister that I'd hope someone would look out for as well." Greg was proud of his accomplishment, he hoped his folks would have been as well. "I'm always happy to offer any assistance that I can."
Greg knew about the whole keep up the facade routine, it was the same all over. You put on the happy family routine in front of cameras but behind closed doors, life was hell. He thanked his lucky stars that he at least had normal parents. "You'll find that here as well, some of the celebrities look all perfect in magazines but put them in a normal situation and something cracks."
He thought his ears had deceived him for a moment. "Your dad made threats about giving up your baby? I just don't get that. Every child deserves to be with their mom and dad and the grandparents should be accepting of them." Still he hoped he never crossed paths with the man, he sounded like a horrible man.
"I think you did the right thing by coming here." Greg reassured her. "The friends you make here will always be on your side." At least he hoped, he hadn't had anyone turn on him yet. "Me? Oh well, I'm just a normal teen I guess nothing special or anything." He wasn't sure exactly how to say he had been on television in the states.

"I would glad;y accept your assitance. I am still trying to get to know thie area. So far all I really know is how to get home, to my son's place of residence, the park, to school and to my job." She admitted. "I got lost just the other day. It was horrible.' She said with a soft smile. "I have three older brothers. They are very protective, however, they also live over seas." She explained. "I am living with my Aunt here."
Alex nodded, "So this is exactly the same as London only in London its royalty. Although some members can handle the scrutiny of the public eye. My family is not one of them. Give then a situation where their precious name might get tarnished and they respond as if their very existance depends upon it." Alexx explained. "The price one pays for living in high society. Its nice, but look beyond the facades and everyone is hiding a deep dark secret." Alex said.
"I once thought the very same thought, but sadly, my father is not the traditional grandparent. I am very happy Ashley and his parents are taking good care of Kai. I am just thankful they allow me to see him. Leaving him two years ago was one of the hardest decisions of my life, but it was the right decison given what my father was saying." Alex assured Greg. "Thank god he needs to stay in London for business."
Alex had no idea Greg was famous. She had yet to watch much TV while being in the states. Alex smiled when Greg said that. She took his hand in hers and squeezed it. "Thank you very much. You have no idea how much that means to me for you to say that. Right now I could use some friends. its not easy being new is it."
