Cam headed to the choir room. Okay he was a little late, yes, but he was still showing up. He hadn't done much the past few days. Since getting out of the hospital his parents had mostly just forced him to stay home. He hadn't even seen Haley too much, which did worry him a bit. At least he knew things were okay between them, despite his epic fail. Or at least she had said things would be okay so he had no choice but to believe her.
He'd tried out for the play mostly because Haley was. Cam had a lot of musical talent but more so with instruments then say singing. He didn't have a bad voice but he knew a lot of the other guys were better than him. So he didn't mind when he was just cast as an extra. Haley had one of the bigger parts, but he figured even as an extra he'd be able to support her.
He'd never seen South Pacific so he wasn't familiar with the names of the characters or which ones ended up romantically involved. He knew things were okay between him and Wynn now, since Wynn had visited him in the hospital, but had he known Haley and Wynn were playing opposite each other he perhaps would have had more of a queasy feeling in his stomach as he entered the choir room, but seeing as he had no clue, he had no idea that he should be upset.
"Sorry I'm late," he mumbled, grabbing a script, watching as the director marked him off as being present. He saw Haley in the back and wanted to go sit with her but instead he took the first empty seat he saw which was by Wynn and Julia and two others he didn't really know. "Hey guys," he said, sliding into the seat.

Danny began to get a bit bored. He had thought that Julia would be up on stage more so he soak in her loveliness and talent. It was also hard because he could see her talking to and being talked to by the other guys who might be potential competition for him. He couldn't hear what they were saying and it was making him crazy.
Danny slipped down between the seats and crawled along the floor so that he could get closer. He would have been fine if he hadn't been spotted by one of the football players that usually targetted him for their special attentions. Just as he was getting close enough to stop, the guy who was going to be an extra, dropped the scripts on Danny's head and stepped on his fingers.
Manfully holding back the cry that threatened to erupt, Danny only let out a squeak. Unfortunately Boz was not done with him. "Oh crap. I am soooo sorry, Danny. I did not see you there. What are you doing down there by the way," he said in a saccharin sweet voice as if he and the younger boy were the best of friends and he had not locked Danny in his gym locker twice when Danny had only been in school for two days so far.

DJ found the choir room with no trouble. He picked up his script and began to flip through it, noting his lines in light pencil when he heard something of a squeak coming from somewhere towards the back.
Seeing Boz tower over someone or something, he made it his duty to investigate the situation. He growled internally at the site.
"Hey Boz, I think you should really pick on someone smaller than you," he started in with a sneer. "I hear the elementary school has some openings."
Boz sneered back standing up to DJ. "Real funny Deej, defending some nerd." He got in DJ's face. "What are you gonna do tough guy? huh?" He was pressing buttons. "Gonna knock me upside the head?" His eyes narrowed as if to dare DJ.
"Actually no, I won't hit you because shit splatters." DJ plainly stated to Boz. "Now go sit your ass down before I haul you to a seat," he moved in close. "And you know I can do it too!"
Boz shoved past DJ, muttering under his breath. DJ just rolled his eyes then squatted down to where the boy was. "Hey you ok there?" he offered a hand to him. "You can trust me, I wouldn't hurt a fly."

(OOC: I am combing Haley and Trixie's post in this one. Hope that's okay)
[Characters: Haley Rowan and Trixie Michaels]
Trixie and Haley were both running late. Trixie had cleared it with the teacher before she showed up because she had to stop by the nurse to change her bandage. Since she still had stiches from the gun shot wound in her stomach. Trixie had asked Haley to come with her since they were both part of the play. So Trixie got her bandage changed. She could not wait until Wednesday when she could get her stitches taken out. Haley and Trixie slipped in through the back and took their seats. They talked quietly and whispered why the others talked amongst themselves. They heard Julia, Riley and Eddie introduce them selves. Then some guy named Wynn and then Haleys supposed boyfriend. "Ouch Haley you got denied by the puppy." Trixie whispered to Haley. Trixie looked around for DJ, but did not see him. She wanted to ask him about this afternoon, but he seemed gone.
Haley had to admit she felt a little jealous when Cam took the seat he did. She did not understand. He had been weird after the shooting, but Haley thought everything was okay. Apparently not. Apparently things might still be weird or else why not sit next to your girlfriend. Haley's arm was much better. She rolled her eyes and looked at Trixie, "Oh shut up. Your boy toy is not here either." Haley commented with a smile.
Trixie gave her a look and scoffed, "Your mean." Trixie said with a smile.
Haley laughed, "But you love me, best friend." Haley said to Trixie. Finally Haley stood up and smiled at everyone. "Hi guys. I am Haley. I play Ngana. Nice to meet you all." Haley gave a small wave. She knew most of the people. Julia, Wynn, Cam and Trixie. The othered were mysteries. This would be fun.
Trixie followed suit. She stood up. Haley always had to be so damn nice. Trixie gave her a smirk as she spoke, "Hi. I am Trixie and I Play Nellie. Nice to meet everyone." Trixie sat back down still smiling though. She had to be nice right now.

Jeremy drove to the school, and let Jade find a radio station to his liking. "You know the next six, seven weeks I'll be busy with rehearsals since I'm one of the leads. I will make it up to you, with the best seats in the house." He reached over and held Jade's hand. "I'll even splurge for your entire family."
He pulled into the lot of the school and walked hand in hand with Jade into the auditorium where he was met with several sets of eyes. "Hey, sorry for being late." He sheepishly said taking his script and mussed Julia's hair before taking a seat next to Jade.
"Just pay attention and you might learn something." He smiled and laughed. He knew his sister, Wynn, Haley, and Cam but the other two he wasn't sure about or the girl sitting with Haley. And of course DJ needed no intro, who could ever miss the mass of a man like him?
"Right now, its easy we'll block scenes and learn the dancing and such, its when we get closer to show date then it becomes more crazed but it all comes together like a family should."

Due to someone causing a ruckus in her last class, Mom was running just a tad late for rehearsal. Why people had to act like animals during class she had no idea. She went to her locker first and got her things and headed on into the auditorium.
"Sorry pumpkins," she apologized as she entered. "I hope I didn't miss much!" Her jovial self starting to come back. She grabbed her script and headed to a small group, she knew Eddie right away.
"Yay, you made it!! You weren't scared away!" She laughed giving him a hug. She sat next to him. "The next few weeks will be fun!"
Ms. Griffith stood at the front, after Trixie introduced herself. "Thank you Trixie, for breaking the ice with everyone." She smiled. "The role of Liat still needs to be cast, our original choice had other commitments and had to drop out." She scanned the rooms for who were extras. Her eyes landed on Julia.
"Ms. Warner, would mind taking the role?" Her words came out more as, just say yes and make it easy on us all.
Mom smiled. "Ohhh you'd get to be my daughter!"

Danny had been about to crawl out of there as fast as he could but now he couldn't be so rude and so would have to risk Julia knowing he was there. He took D.J.'s hand and allowed him to haul him to his feet. "Thanks, I'm Danny and I appreciate being rescued. Boz decided I made a good punching bag last week and hasn't changed his opinion yet." He shook D.J.'s hand and gave him a wide smile of appreciation. "You're about the size of Treebeard, I am not surprised he decided retreat was wise."
Danny was glad that no one else seemed to have noticed his arrival. "You're going to be in this musical? I don't think I have the guts to perform on stage. I have to say I admire that," he said as he took a seat, watching Julia out of the corner of his dark eyes.
He gathered up the scripts that had been dropped and to be helpful, he passed them forward. He didn't really know much about the workings of a theater group, but it seemed like it would be fun, appealing to the aspect of his personality that adored fantasy. Unfortunately he didn't feel he would be talented like the others here. He had a decent enough voice, but he couldn't dance and he doubted they needed someone who could play flute.

ooc: he is here with Jeremy, so if someone wants to use him you might as well tag him in, if not he'll be sat front and centre.
Jade slipped into the seat at the front of the auditorium, how the hell he had ended up in this situation was beyond him as he settled down into his seat.
'This is going to be a very long evening.' he thought.
He had agreed to come out tonight with Jeremy, it would have been unwelcome to say no to him after he had said where they were going... it wasn't that he was uninterested in his boyfriends choice of hobbies and talents, but it was one thing to sit through a show on a show night and quite the other to sit through the first rehearsal.
To anyone who looked at him however he was the personification of coolness and happiness, his mask was firmly in place, this was about taking one for Jeremy, god knows he had pushed Jeremy into doing things that were comfortable to him. Now he had to live with the other side of that.
'You love the boy.' he thought. 'Now you have to show you can be interested in everything that he does, no matter how much it grates on you to be stuck in a hall for the evening.' he continued to think.
He rubbed his eyes tiredly... before training his eyes on the stage once more smiled and waited for the show to begin.
