Alex was still getting use to school in America. Sure it was just like back in New York, but she had left for two years and was now back. For the past week Alex's life had consisted of working, school, seeing Kai, dealing with Ashley, his parents and her parents. She felt like there was a circle and she was in the middle surrounded by people. It was over whelming, but Alex kept her focus. She was so far proving that she was there for Kai. Sure Alex knew it had only been a week since she officially told Ashley she was back, but she was doing her damn best to be a mother.

It was not easy, but Alex felt she was doing fairly good. She had seen Kai a lot in the past week. In fact she hoped to see him after school, but she needed to find Ashley and ask him first. Alex was off from work, which was nice. She usually only worked the weekends anyway. So to be honest it gave her most of her week free to spend with Kai, if Ashley did not have plans.

Other then that her week had been spent arguing with her father and mother over her situation. They seemed to think Alex was going through a phase and would return soon enough or else were her fathers words. Alex did not know what the or else meant, but she did not really care. Alex felt her phone ring as she took it out. Okay it was vibrating but either way it was feeling very weird against her ass so she took out he phone to see her father calling. Apparently the time difference had not set in for her parents yet. So Alex just ignored the call, "leave me the bloody hell alone." Alex muttered to the phone. She did not even notice someone sit next to her. When Alex did notice she smiled, "Sorry That was not for you...my phone.....won't stop buzzing."

Greg was too restless to stay cooped up inside for lunch so instead he bought a PB&J sandwich, Lays BBQ potato chips, and a bottle of water and headed outside.

He had no idea how warm out it really was till he was out there. Still the air felt good, too many people inside sort of made him paranoid. It was bad enough that the producers of 'Days of Passion' had called the house last week to check on him and made sure he wasn't dead or injured.

He saw an open seat on a bench and went over and sat down and carefully unwrapped his sandwich. As he was about to take a bite he heard the girl next to him about leaving her alone.

"Sorry it just..." he started to apologize to her until she said it was her phone bothering her. "You get the troubles like that too?" He asked. "I learned to just shut my phone off, after all if its really important they'll call back."

"I'm Greg," He introduced himself to the girl, who he thought was cute. "I don't think I've seen you here before. Are you new?" He didn't notice a bit of the jelly drip out and hit his shirt.

[Ashley Bolton]

Ashley had come looking for his ex girlfriend, he had plans for this evening and was wondering whether or not she would like to spend it with Kai. He still didn't trust her motives in the slightest, but he couldn't deny that she was good with Kai and that the three of them would work it out. His parents were less than thrilled that he had let the girl come into there lives, but they had respected his decision to allow the girl to prove them all wrong. He had been with her a couple of times in the last week, Kai was enjoying himself at the very least.

He saw Alex talking to Greg Meyers as he approached her, "Hey Greg." Ashley said to the boy as he made his presence known to them. "Alex, I was wondering if you would like to have Kai tonight, I have a dinner date with an old friend from New York tonight. Mom and dad have offered to sit him, but your his mom so I thought maybe you'd like to spend some time with him." Ashley said to the girl. "If you have plans of course I understand." he added he wondered whether Greg thought this completely insane.

What he didn't want to say was that he had a new girlfriend, and that he was in fact taking her out on a date for the third time.

Alex smiled as Greg sat next to her. "You can turn these off." Alex looked at her cell phone. "I admit I never had one in London. My father never believed in them. He always had some person watching over me." Alex admitted with a blush. "So I am ignorant to how a cell phone works. Can you show me?" She asked feeling a little dumb. How could she not know how to work a cell phone? Didn't all teenagers know. "I am Alex...umm you seem to have dropped some jam...right there." She pointed to his chest with a smile. She did not recognize Greg at all. She did not know he was a celebrity. "Yes I just started Silver this week. Well Technically it was last week, but due to the horrid event, today is my first day."

Alex took out a turkey sandwich and began to eat it when Ashely showed up. She had no idea he had a girlfriend. If she did she would be a little jealous and hurt, but Ashley had every right to move on. "I would love to take care of Kai tonight. I have plenty of time for Kai." Alex admitted with a smile. After all she was here just for Kai and nothing more. Alex knew Ashley was a thing of the past and there for Alex had to focus on the future. "I would love to take Kai to the park. He does love to outdoor." She said with a smile and a giggle. "Thank you for asking Ashely." She said to her ex.

"Do you enjoy the outdoors Greg? You are welcome to join Kai and I if you like. I find the outdoors to be quite refreshing. A nice way to just let your mind be at ease for a time being." Alex had invited Greg to be polite. She had just met him, but talking about going some where in front of a stranger was a little rude. Besides Alex was friendly and would love the company. "So you go Ashley. Have fun with your friend. Kai is in good hands tonight."

"Yeah, let me show you." Greg said, gently taking the phone from the girl's hand. He showed her as he pressed a few buttons. "I never knew a person could do this till I just played around with mine for awhile. I like to do it to drive my folks crazy once in awhile." He smiled as he handed the phone back to her. He looked down where she had pointed. "Oops, and they think PB and J is only messy with small kids." He took a napkin from his pocket and cleaned it off his shirt. "Thankfully its not one of my better shirts."

"Hey Ashely." He greeted the blond teen. He let them talk about the visitation while he quietly ate his lunch. It wasn't his business to know who Ashley was having dinner with but something told him it wasn't his great aunt Myrtle from Topeka.

Greg was taken off guard when Alex asked if he wanted to join her and Kai for a night out. "Sure I wouldn't mind it. A night at the park can be fun." Something told him not to but he knew L.A. and that the parks could get dangerous as the sun went down.
