Lunch with my baby (Colby/Cat, any friends)

Colby left Mickey D's still feeling hungry. Something about chicken nuggets and fries just don't fill a guy up like they should. He decided to head on to school and surprise Cat.

On his way there he stopped by the florist shop and picked up a couple of carnations and a small stuffed beanie baby monkey. She deserved to be spoiled.

He arrived on the campus and went to the attendance office and signed in for the day. The woman on duty commented on how he looked better without the huge bandage on his head. He smiled and agreed with her then went to find Cat. Hopefully she was sitting with her friends for lunch, he wanted her in good company when he wasn't around.

He headed to the lunchroom and started to look around, a few friends saying hi to him. He did his friendly greeting still keeping his eyes open till he gave up.

"Hey Jojo, you see Cat anywhere in here?" He asked a kid with hair hanging in his eyes.

"Oh yeah dude she's over there." The kid pointed to a dark haired beauty sitting at a table.

"Thanks guy, I owe ya." Colby said and went over to her. He motioned for the others sitting there to be quiet as he came up behind her. He put the monkey on her shoulder and spoke in a falsetto voice, "EEee eee, will you take me home?"

Catalina was talking to her friends when she heard the voice. Giggling she turned to the monkey to play along. "Sure you can come home with me. Don't tell my fiancee but your a lot cuter then him" she teased and kissed the beany monkey's nose. She took the monkey and then smiled up at Colby. "Sorry your to late I found some else" this was said dramatically and teasingly. "Mr. Monkey here and I are going to run off and get married. Sorry" she said with a smale and a laugh. Standing up she got on her tip toes and gave him a soft kiss on the mouth.

"Now this is my kind of lunch time suprise" she told him and made room for him next to her at the table. "The flowers are beautiful" she said as they were handed to her and she took a sniff of them. "You are so sweet your hurt and you get me stuff" she gave him another soft sweet kiss. He was amazing he was still spoiling her when he was all banged up and stuff still, he was a one of a kind guy. Lucky she found him before any other girl that is for sure.

She remembered he had a doctors appointment and took a sip of her water and looked up at him. "How was the doctors visit? What did they say? Everything okay?" she asked quickly. She wanted to go but she knew she could not miss school. Now she would not have to wait till after school to hear the noise. She looked up at him expectantly as she waited to hear what the doctor told him.

"You did? Well then I guess I'll leave you two alone then." Colby said faking a dejected tone. All that changed when Cat got up and kissed him. That was something he missed that morning.

As he sat next to her, he held onto her hand. "Nothing is too good for my baby, besides I enjoy spoiling you." Which was the truth. "Just don't get used to it, once were married that'll end." he teased her.

"I have good news and bad news, good news is that no major damage was done so thats also the bad news, it means yours stuck with me." He laughed as he turned to face her.

"Instead of telling you word for word, take a careful look at my head and see if you notice anything missing." He brushed his hair from his forehead giving a small indication that something wasn't there. "You get three guesses." He wanted to burst out with the news that he was bandage free now. "If you guess right, you'll get a super surprise from me." Which meant taking her out for a romantic evening but she'd get it even if she didn't guess right.

"Your bandage is gone" Catalina said right away. She looked at his head and smiled and kissed his forhead. "That means your okay" she said happily. She ran a hand down his cheek. "You have no idea how truely happy I am that it is gone." Now they could really move on from everything, she was healing and so was he. So that means that they get to look toward their future together.

"I did miss you, but this was the best docotor's appointment" She put the monkey on her lap. Sitting the flowers on the table by her tray she looked at them lovingly. He always knew her favorite flowers since it changed, and she could not jus stick with one. "So all this ends after we are married huh?" she pretended to ask this seriously. "I guess this means no wedding then" she sighed dramatically and teasingly to him.

"But anyway now that I guess right what is my suprise?" she asked sweetly and looked up into his eyes lovingly. She knew whatever it was she would love it because of the thought he put into it. Colby always put his whole heart and soul into what he did,and the stuff he did for her was no different. That was one of the things that made him so different from others, the kind of difference more girls wished their guys had. "Of course whatever it is I know it will be perfect because it is from you" she dropped kiss on the tip of his nose.

"You got it right off the bat!" Colby grinned at Cat. "I just have a small little patch left though but it beats that huge honking thing I had to wear." He ran his fingers though his hair. "I also can drive again but I just need to watch it if I start getting a headache."

"So now that you guessed, you get a prize." He kissed her gently on the neck. "And in addition to that you get a choice, I could take you out tonight for a romantic dinner for two along with a walk along beach around sun down OR my folks will be gone tonight so the house will be our, I can make dinner, we'll eat by candlelight and afterwards we can snuggle together." He was feeling better, it was clear.

"So what sounds good to you my dear?" He queried to his girl. "Either way you'll be with me the whole night." He smiled once again, either answer was the correct answer. He waited for her to answer, he wanted tonight to be extra special for the both of them.
