Moving On Skye attn Nate/Open

Skye had wanted to bang her head into her locker. The look in Nero's eyes when she had not kissed him back had hurt, but he was with someone else..she had to just..stop. Her own growing feelings for her other friend, her old feelings for Nero, it was all starting to become too much. She needed to move on, she had to. it wasn't fair to Nero or his girlfriend or Skye herself.

A heavy sigh passed her lips, and the thought of skipping classes was ever present. She didn't wanna go home, if Brian found her there, it would be hell to pay. Screw this. Skye reopened her locker, and after looking at Nate's books, she grabbed her phone. Maybe it was time to take a chance.

*Hey...I wanna take a chance...I want to trust you Nate..I like you too..* Skye sent the text to Nate's phone, which, hopefully, he would take. He had told her that he wanted to be with her the other night, and she had denied him. Hopefully, she still had that chance.

Shoving he bag into her locker, Skye grabbed just her purse and headed out to the parking lot. the school felt stifling.

Nate was being Nate. He had feelings and therefore he was trying to get rid of them. He did not want to have feelings. He hated commitment. So Nate did things to prove he did not like Skye. He flirted and had sex. Nothing new. The only person who knew how he felt was Trixie. Plus Nate had Jay to keep him occupied. Jay had been silent for the past week and it was scary when he was silent. Nate was worried of what he would do.

Nate was still at Gould and still sahring a locker with Skye. He saw her in the hall talking to Nero. He saw the kiss and decided to go the other way. The kiss irked him and he hit a locker. Nate headed the other way down the halls. Until he literally ran into a beautiful, breath taking redhead. She was no Skye, but she would do. So Nate did what he did best. He flirted with her. Nate was unaware what happened with Skye and Nero.

Nate was just trying to forget and he was doing agood job of it. Even if Skye sent a text his phone deciced to join in the fun and not recieve the text. So what Skye sent Nate about being ready to trust him, was never recieved. Nate's phone never registered it got a text and it ever vibrated. Had Nate gotten the text he would have gone to talk to Skye, but for now Nate did what he did best and that was self sabotage.
