A good close look at what Sloane was wearing made Nolan's heart speed up considerably. Nolan felt incredibly lucky, and no one could convince him that he wasn't the luckiest guy at the party tonight. “I'm glad I did. If you had told me what you were going to wear you couldn't have kept me away!” He laughed a little at his joke, though in all seriousness it was true. A girl like Sloane wearing lingerie like that could convince a guy of anything.
“No, I don't normally sleep in this,” Nolan blushed a bit, then thought a moment. To be fair, this isn't far off from what he usually slept in. Pajamas weren't really his thing. “But you'll have to find out what I wear to bed the hard way.” Nolan usually wasn't much of a tease, but Sloane brought out that side of him. “I'm glad I came too.” Her lips felt very soft against his chin. He knew later tonight he had to kiss them.
Keeping his arms around Sloane, the tall jock scanned the crowd again, finding the birthday girl and her escort. Tyler he knew. Not personally, but being on a rival team one tended to learn who his opponents were, especially when they were that good. He'd also heard a little bit about Tyler's personal life. Though it wasn't necessarily Nolan's style, he had to give it to the guy. Tyler usually got what he wanted.
Though it took a bit longer, Nolan realized he recognized Bree as well. She was one of Gould's cheerleaders, and though he didn't know her name before, he was able to put two and two together. He looked back at Sloane. “Should we go say hi to the birthday girl? I'd love to meet your friend!”

Nolan's obvious entrancement of her figure being so exposed in her corset made Sloane smirk. She was proud of her figure and she knew very well that she looked damn good in her sleepwear. Of course, she didn't sleep in this. She actually preferred her elder brother's oversized college sweatshirt and baggy drawstring pants with her hair up in a loose ponytail and her face scrubbed fresh and clean of any make-up. But of course she would not show up in that. Sloane Taylor did not do normal outside of her home.
The teasing from Nolan brought an amused smirk from the auburn haired girl. She was ready to strike back but she held back, especially when his voice changed as he reciprocated her feelings of his presence here at the party. What with Tyler's plans of dogging Magdalena Veloz and Bree's entrance to the high school hierarchy, Sloane knew she was going to be alone. Having Nolan around was surprisingly a pleasant change to her usual solitude.
Now thinking back, when Sloane set out to invite Nolan, she had not thought of introducing him to anyone she knew. Especially not to Bree and Tyler. Although she knew Bree would be thrilled that Sloane was finally semi settling down (spending five days with only one boy is like an eternity in Sloane Land), Tyler would blow it up into big fat unnecessary proportions and Sloane was not ready for that. Nolan was nothing more than one of her conquests...wasn't he?
But now that Nolan had asked, would it be completely rude to ignore it? Ha. Well of course it would be. And as much as she was willing to keep the existence of Nolan all to herself, she was not, however, willing to make him think that she was ashamed or whatever to introduce him to her best friend and...whatever Tyler was to her. What if they disapproved of him?
"The night's still young, slugger." Sloane smirked before slipping an arm through Nolan's and looked around to find someone completely unrelated to her. Then she saw Bartholomew. Ah. Perfect. They had 'bonded' over the favour she had asked of him. They could bond over something else couldn't they? So she marched over to him without seeing Tyler with Maggy, her vision tunnelled at the redheaded senior.
"Hi Bartholomew! I'm so glad you could come." Sloane feigned warmth as she pulled the bespectacled teenager into a hug. Turning back to Nolan, she grinned. "I'm breaking the ice. Nolan here is from Silver and he plays basketball, football and...something else I can't remember." Sloane laughed a little. "Bartholomew here is actually on the swimming team in Gould." She continued, finding the little information about the senior prior to asking for his help. At least they had athletics in common now.
"So, how are you liking the party so far, Bartholomew?" Sloane asked, not realising that she still had a grip on Nolan's arms, almost protective in its strength.

“Hi, thanks May. I am so glad you came,” Bree said happily as she hugged her friend. Tyler wandered off to give them some privacy and immediately made a beeline of Maggy. Bree had all kinds of conflicting feelings about that, but managed to keep them off her face. “I love your chemise, it is so feminine and pretty. Lilac is one of my favorite colors, but it clashes so bad with my hair. On you it is gorgeous though. I was afraid your parents might not let you come.” She was so happy to see May that she was babbling a bit. The night was starting out perfect. If only their plans worked regarding Tyler and Maggy then she would be ecstatic, at least she thought she would be.
“Are you thirsty? We can get something at the bar or go into the other room where there is iced sodas and bottled water and fruit juice,” Bree offered, seeing her friend without a drink in her hand.

The look on Sloane's face told Nolan that he was caught checking her out. He was slightly embarrassed, though he should be looking at her like that. After all, she was his... date? Girlfriend? Nolan realized he wasn't sure. He definitely wasn't looking to date anyone else, but what about Sloane? Nolan hoped to remember to talk to her later sometime.
She seemed to be smirking a lot. Sloane knew how she looked, that much was certain in the confidence she showed. But Nolan still wondered what else she was thinking. Hopefully it was along the lines of “This guy is the greatest,” but there was no way to know for sure. If there was one thing that really made Nolan insecure, it was the uncertainty of others' thoughts.
Nonetheless, he let Sloane parade him around with her. He enjoyed feeling like he was her escort, holding her arm in his. It made him feel protective of her. He stood tall, an intimidating form to any that may try to approach. He saw many wandering male eyes catch sight of his lady, ones that quickly showed appreciation for her form. At first, Nolan was amused, proud to be walking with such a prize. However, more and more dudes started eying up Sloane, and it started to bother him.
Sloane led Nolan to a skinny boy much older than Nolan. Bartholomew, Sloane introduced. Nolan didn't know him, though Sloane said he was on the swimming team. He did seem a little uncomfortable in this environment, or so Nolan gathered. He tried to be nice and extended his free right hand.
“Hi Bartholomew, nice to meet you. I'm Sloane's...” Realizing he wasn't sure again, Nolan looked to Sloane, unsure of what to say. The brief moment felt agonizingly wrong. Nolan didn't want to step over any lines, weird Sloane out or anything. He figured he should probably play it safe. “Friend. You two have classes together?”

There were a lot of times where Daisy Bell wanted to treat Hannah as more of a girlfriend than a daughter, but unfortunately for Hannah the pajama party was not one of those occasions. When she saw what Hannah wanted to wear out to a party that would have boys in attendance, she flipped out harcore.
So it was that Hannah showed up at the hotel in a frumpy pair of old PJ's, a small stuffed bulldog under her arm. Hannah, however, had planned ahead. Heading directly for the bathroom, Hannah pulled her desired attire from her bag. A sheer black robe covered a matching set of dark red underwear. She had ordered them online the day Bree had announced her pajama party to the cheer squad. A quick touch up of her hair and Hannah was ready to enter the party, looking forward to a fun evening of boys and birthdays.
She entered the main hall and found the stack of presents, setting her box on the pile. She then walked around the room, greeting people she knew from school. Some she had even met just days earlier at Sarah's party! It wasn't long before she found Bree on the arm of none other than Tyler Durnham! Hannah knew all about him, and though she found him very attractive there was something just skeezy about him too. But it was Bree's birthday, and if that's what she wanted then that's what she deserved.
Hannah also noticed her fellow cheerleader had gone all out. It might have been the best looking Bree had ever been! It excited Hannah. Bree was always a nice girl, but she was quiet. It was good to see her out of her shell. Maybe meeting Tyler had helped that.
Heels clicked on the tile as Hannah scurried to greet her friend. “Bree!” The name almost turned into a high pitched squeal, and Hannah threw her arms around Bree, completely ignoring everyone around. As she pulled back, though, she apologized. “Sorry, I just had to hug the birthday girl. Happy birthday, you look amazing!”

Post by Lia Juarez on Oct 3, 2009 15:06:31 GMT -5
The twins had pretty much spent all week with Saint and on Friday Night their mother insisted they go out and have fun. The big even that night was Bree Marcus’ birthday party so they picked out Jammies and their mom dropped them off at the hotel it was being held at. Jandro had money to take a cab home. They were rather excited for this sounded much different than any party they had been to before. They left the present on the table in the lobby where there was piles of presents already there. Their shared present was a bracelet their mother had brought home from her last shoot in France. She had been doing and ad for a Jewelry designer and he gave it to her as a thank-you after she had told him she had to leave because of her son’s injury. Most of the models would have just left him without warning at all.
Lia was in a pair of animal print pajamas in tee shirt material cut to Capri length and with short capped sleeves. They had bright pink trim at the sleeves, leg hems and the vee-neck. She was carrying a stuffed Kangeroo with a joey. Jandro was wearing knee length light blue bottoms and the top had ¾-length sleeves in the same light blue, but the torso was tan with a print from ‘Where the Wild Things Are’. They each had on coordinating scuff slippers. When they entered a waiter was heading into one room with an overburdened cart full of desserts. Nothing else could be done until Jandro followed it in and found a wonderland of food and treats. There was even a huge chocolate fountain surrounded by cake and fruit to be dunked in it. Lia finally had to leave him there carefully picking out goodies to fill his plate.
Lia on the other hand was too eager to see everything to stick with her brother who might spend hours in there calculating desire vs calories. Jandro loved food, but he loved his slender body more. People had started dancing and it was pretty wonderful to watch. She hoped that she would see Izzy or Taki there or maybe both of them, but she didn’t see them. She hoped maybe they would show up eventually. A couple dancing almost ran her over and she moved backwards to avoid collision, but ended up bumping into someone else.
“I’m so sorry, please forgive me,” she stuttered, turning to look at her with wide, bright blue eyes at a stunning black girl who looked rather familiar. "You're Marianne Chatham right? I go to your school, but I'm a sophomore." She had hear that 'Mom' as she was called was really nice, but she had never been in a social situation with her before.

Marrianne mingled a bit with everyone, being her usual friendly self. Even though her mind was churning out some kind of plot to expose Tyler for what he was. There was a snowball's chance in hell that he would ever catch her.
The music changed its tempo to something a little more bounce to it and more fun and soon she found herself getting into the groove of the music.
When Mom got into the music there was no stopping her. She danced like no one was looking and wrapped herself up in the rhythm of the beat. As she moved along she realized someone had bumped into her.
She didn't let it bother her, unless someone cracked a fat joke about her. "Oops!" She laughed as she turned around. The young face of a blond haired blue eyed girl looked up at her.
"Its quite alright baby, it takes a lot to dent me." Her voice rang out melodically over the music. "It's a pleasure to meet a face from school." The girl knew her name, which didn't bother her, she was used to people talking about her. "If I'm not me, then I'm in big trouble." She laughed again. "And who do Grover and I have the pleasure of meeting?" She held up Grover's hand like he was going to shake hands with the girl.

Bree smiled and hugged Hannah back. “Thanks, I am glad you came. There is a lot to do. In that corner over there is a fortune teller if you like that sort of thing. I was just going to get a drink for May, you want one too?” she asked, wanting everyone to have everything they needed for a good time. She was still nervous, but was hiding it better. She couldn’t see to stop herself from watching Tyler and Maggy from the corner of her eyes. She told herself it was that she was afraid he was making his play too soon. She and Sloane hadn’t even managed to have their talk for Maggy to overhear.
“I really like your outfit, Hannah. I know you’re parents didn’t allow that out of the house, you must have changed on the way,” Bree said with a giggle. She knew if her Father were still alive, he would have beaten her black and blue for being out in public in what she was wearing and it wasn’t even as revealing as what Sloane was wearing.
Bree spotted a younger boy wearing a pair of ‘Where the Wild Things are’ pajamas. They weren’t sexy or anything, but they made her smile. She pointed and told Hannah, “I used to love that book. He looks like he is ready for story time.”

Lia giggled and took Grover’s hand shaking it lightly. “Hi Grover, I’m Lia Juarez, I’m a sophomore. She was almost knocked over by her twin who had a hard time recovering with his handful of plate and bowl. “And this is my brother, Jandro, who apparently is already hyped on sugar.”
Jandro grinned sheepishly. “Sorry, but it’s nice to meet you. Lia, these éclairs are incredible,” he said handing her one. “Would you like one, …?” he struggled for a name, knowing he had seen her before, but nothing came to mind immediately. He had three of the pastries on his plate, so he really wasn’t sacrificing by offering, plus there were plenty in the other room.
“This is Marriane, Jandro, she’s a senior,” Lia explained, taking the éclair for it would hurt her brother’s feelings if she didn’t and they did look good.

Post by Magdalena "Maggy" Veloz on Oct 6, 2009 18:31:04 GMT -5
They had gone through both a date and an ordeal, but Magdalena still was uncertain how to respond to Tyler. After all, he was supposed to be dating that cheerleader, Brie or whatever her name was, which meant that all the interest he had shown in her, band geek goth girl, had been feigned. She glanced nervously behind to her companions, but Phil still retained the wide-eyed haunted look he'd had since Monday, and Mew was stuttering at some girl in lingerie and her male friend. She gave an apologetic nod in the direction of the heavy-set girl who had tried to approach her, because a kindred spirit would have been nice, but she supposed that, as her friends were failing to back her up that she did owe Tyler a word, or maybe two.
"Fine." She reluctantly allowed herself to be lead away, then turned to face the jock with folded arms. "Umm, listen, I'm glad you're safe, and I'm fine. And if you want to date her," She nodded toward the indecently clad red-head who had been clinging to Tyler moments before, "I understand. So don't worry about it. So I guess I'll see you at school."
And with that she flounced as best she could back to her friends, grabbing Phil by the shoulder. "We need to go," She informed him. Okay, so they'd just arrived, but they didn't know anyone and she was not comfortable hanging around watching Tyler make out with the birthday girl. Sure, she'd give him permission, but that didn't make her like it.
"Oh. Of course," Phil agreed; he hadn't been that keen on coming in the first place.
