Tyler was having the time of his life during his first slumber party, and as a quick glance through the window at the darkening sky told him, the night was still young. With his looks, his obvious charm, his wealth and adorned in the black silk pyjamas his step-mother had been nice enough to pick up for him, with the top unbuttoned of course, he was finding himself quite popular with the fairer sex. Which was just how he liked things. So he happily spent the first hour of Bree’s birthday party entertaining some of the other guests, female ones of course, a drink nearly always in hand.
A few women had been noticeably absent from his attentions though. He hadn’t yet spotted the birthday girl or Sloane. Which made him just a little nervous, wondering if there was a reason why he hadn’t spotted them. Knowing Sloane at least, she was probably planning something. And Maggy hadn’t arrived yet, if she was even going to show, though his friends reassured him she would.
He felt more than a little stupid to be on the lookout for her, when plenty of other women where around, and were actually interested in him. It bothered him that he was so interested when she was not. He told himself that was exactly the reason though, when she wanted him, he would quickly tire of her and move onto the next girl. He certainly hoped so, he hadn’t been enjoying what was meant to be a fun little game for him for a while now. Excusing himself from his current companions, Tyler made his way to the bar alone, hoping another drink would help steady him.

Finally arriving at the hotel, Sloane opened the car door before pressing a kiss on her father's cheek. "Thanks for driving me, pops." She grinned before stepping out of the car in her heels and tan coat which were covering her 'pajamas'. She grabbed her little sling bag from the back of the car which held her toiletries and a change of clothes. "Bye pops."
Mitchell Taylor waved to his daughter before driving off. Sloane walked into the hotel and immediately went up to the room she had procured just for tonight for herself. She dumped her bag on the queen sized bed and went to where the party was with her two joined stuffed toys. It had been with her since she was a kid and it had a little tag on the back saying: "Property of Sloane". It was her oldest toy. More like the only.
Upon entering the room, she grinned at the whole place. Bree really went all out for it. After a sweeping of the room with her eyes, the blue orbs finally settled on a presence she had began to expect in her daily activities. Typical Tyler, a drink in one hand, eyes on the girls and black silk pajamas. All he needed was a red Hugh Hefner robe and a cigar and he was good to go.
Untying the sash around her coat, Sloane revealed her black and red lacy corset nightie with matching panties. She left her coat with the coat check and approached the bar. "A beer, if you have any." Sloane said to the bartender. He nodded and smiled before grabbing a bottle and passing it to her with the cap popped. She guzzled almost half of it before setting it down on the bar top. "I still can't believe Magdalena Veloz has got your panties up in a bunch." Sloane grinned as her eyes roamed the room. The girls looked divine in their barely there nighties. "If you actually are wearing any underneath that." She gestured to Tyler's choice of clothing.

Hearing Sloane’s voice, Tyler didn’t look up from where he stood at the bar, instead keeping his eyes focused on the rest of the women in the room. If this whole thing with Maggy didn’t work out tonight, he would require some company after all. And at least one lovely lady to help hide him come the 1am mark. “She doesn’t have my...panties in a bunch. She just...I don’t need to explain myself to you.” he sighed, letting annoyance show in his voice. He couldn’t explain either, he didn’t understand the attraction he had completely, for he was sure it couldn’t just be down to her lack of interest. It was frustrating, and he hated to be frustrated. Why couldn’t she just behave like every other girl and throw herself at him?
“If you’re curious as to what I may or may not be wearing underneath this, I am more than happy to go somewhere private with you and let you take a look for yourself.” he chuckled, before turning to his friend. And his jaw all but dropped as he took in the sight of Sloane. “Wow. Now I’m really hoping you’ll take me up on my offer.” he smirked, his tongue snaking over his lips. There was no denying the girl was gorgeous. And the way she looked now, she was likely to be more popular than him tonight. He would have to introduce her to Jasper, if his acquaintance showed. He had a feeling they would get on very well.
“So, did your plan work, is she coming?”

Hiding a smirk at finding out she had struck a nerve in Tyler Durnham, the supposed coolest guy in all of Gould, Sloane downed the rest of her beer before asking for another one. "You should try and hide the annoyance, if you want to convince me that she's not getting you all riled up." She replied before grabbing her second bottle and draining a bit of it.
"Then again, you really don't have to explain yourself to me. Tyler Durnham...in love. I can understand that." Sloane chuckled. Once Tyler finally saw her, Sloane gave a full blown smirk and pushed her hair back over her bare shoulders. "I'm very, very tempted." She said before eyeing a blond in a baby doll dress who looked her way with a shy smile. "Oh so very tempting. But I see no point since all I have to do is..." Sloane slid her hand to the back of Tyler's pants and grinned. "Well now...why am I not surprised?" She retrieved her hand before Tyler could push it away and took her beer bottle off the counter and finished it. "Two Bloody Marys please." Sloane ordered from the bartender who nodded and prepared the drink as Sloane pried her eyes away from the blond but not before she gave her a tiny nod.
Tyler's question brought forth another smirk. "Why do you ask? I thought she doesn't have your silk trousers up in a bunch." Sloane took the two glasses and nodded to the bartender. "And don't you trust Bree and I? When we say we've got it covered, we've got it covered. Now get to the stage, Bree's about to make an entrance and I bet nothing says unavailable than a guy kissing a girl on her birthday in front of everyone to see. Veloz won't stand a chance." She raised one glass to Tyler before heading to the blonde she had been eyeing.

Tyler was halfway through his scotch when Sloane’s comment made him choke on it, recovering hastily. “In love? Me? Surely you know me better than that.” he quickly denied what he saw as an offence accusation. Not so much that she was implying that it was Maggy he had these feelings for, but that she implied he had these feelings at all.
Though he had never loved anyone, outside what he felt for his family of course, or even been in any sort of proper relationship, his thoughts on love were pretty clear. It was overrated, only needed by those who required others to be happy. Tyler didn’t need that, he made his own happiness, as well as livened up the lives short term of the lucky women he came across. And though he never considered it in part of his reasoning as to why he felt like this, the only people he was close to who had ever loved another were his parents, and that was a far from satisfactory relationship. Though it did result in him, so it was not all bad, far from him. And both his parents were very happy now, not being together.
So Tyler didn’t need love. Maybe when he was much, much older, he could consider that an option. But he was far too young and good looking to let anything tie him down now. So love could wait. And he was annoyed now that he was even thinking about it.
He took another sip of scotch, signalling the bartender to get him another. And just when he was trying to change his train of thoughts, Sloane was nice enough to help him out, slipping her hands down the back of his pants and not so lightly groping him. “Well, you do know me well. Considering we are scarily alike.” he chuckled.
The petite blonde Sloane had her eye on was very tempting, and in most circumstances, Tyler would have quite enjoyed competing for her attention for the night. But he had enough women on his mind for now, he was more than happy to focus on just them.
“She doesn’t. I’m just eager to see if what you and Bree have planned will actually work. I have my doubts.” he laughed, trying to downplay his interest, though he was fairly certain he was past that. He grabbed his fresh scotch, taking a sip as he considered things. “Of course I trust Bree. But, if you think my presence as her escort is further required, I won’t argue.” He watched her walk off before ordering a champagne from the bartender. He hoped that she was right, the sooner he got Maggy out of his system, the better, as far as he was concerned.
