He helped her learn everything there was to know about New York and America. They became fast friends and soon turned into romance. He was her true first love. One thing led to anther and eventually Alex found herself pregnant much to the dismay of her parents. To the Bridgerton's this was a scandel. They had gone years without a scnadel or tarnishing their good name. This could not happen to a Bridgerton child. Alex begged her parents to let her live in America. She even promised never to return and ruin the Bridgerton's image. However her parents were not having any of it. A few months after her son Kai was born Alex was forced, or rather threathened to return to London. Even Ash does not know the real reason Alex left or the threat her parents made.
For two years Alex has been pinning for the day she could return to be a mother to her son. She missed Kai and Ash dearly. Although she is saddened over the fact she will probably never have Ashley back in her life, she does want to be in her sons life. It has taken two years for Alex to gain the courage to basically tell her parents to go to hell. Also Alex has no idea about the money her parents sent. It was done behind her back. However she did find out they knew where Ash lived. Alex conned her butler into giving her the information.
Alex was overjoyed to find out her Aunt Julie and Uncle Bobby had moved to Californa, which made things easier. Alex was able to obtain a student Visa by foregin signatures. She finally told her parents she was leaving and her father replied by cutting her off financially. Alex moved to Californa two weeks ago. She found a job and enrolled in school.
