One of the good things about being a working teen had been that he was not present at the shooting or the aftermath, he had been at the hospital that morning to visit Jade, he had also been their to help distract the staff as Jade was smuggled out of the hospital for the memorial. Of course none of them had known that it had already been arranged for him to leave by his parents... never the less it was incredibly fun for them... Alex and Jade were sitting with friends, and Brad had said he might join them latter.
Brad sat down in an empty seat and was determined to find some sense in the mayhem, though he was very glad that he was not at the school when it had happened. Brad's parents and agent had likewise been very pleased that he had not been at the school, he had been kept away from the school as a result of what had happened.
Though he had gotten a phone call to ask where he was, and whether everything was okay... Brad was more than happy to be at the memorial for the people who had died, he wanted to be supportive if nothing else.

Jandro and Lia found seats together and sat holding hands. They looked too much alike to be anything but twins, so they got a few odd looks, but with the occasion it was understandable and no one gave them a hard time. They were both dressed entirely in black, Lia in a Vintage lace dress that made her look very ladylike except for the combat boots and fishnet stockings on her legs and arms. Jandro had a black aviator cap on that he borrowed from Saint’s room with permission. Saint of course was in the hospital still. He would likely be there a few more days. It is not so easy to shake off brain surgery. It took a while for them to realize they weren’t completely alone.
“Hi… you go to Silver, don’t you?” Lia asked recognizing the young man from the hallways even though he was a grade or two older than them. “I am Lia Juarez and this is my brother, Jandro. “ She wasn’t sure what else to say that wouldn’t be too personal on this very painful day.
Jandro smiled and nodded at him. “Hey, how’s it going? We don’t know anyone that died, but our brother was injured badly,” he said in his rather blunt way. “Are you okay?” The other boy looked upset and he thought perhaps he might want to be left alone which might not occur to Lia who was likely to nurture injured puppies and strangers alike.

Brad smiled at the odd pair, he usually tried to leave the assumptions alone, but they looked like they were related, so when they introduced themselves he smiled twins. God what was it with him and twins, his best friends were twins, oh well he thought if you can't escape them you might as well embrace them with gusto or something similar.
"Brad." he said introducing himself. "I didn't know any of the dead, but I do know one of the guys who were injured in the attack." he said his Australian accent coming through thickly as he spoke. "And yes I go to Silver I have done for a while, not quite sure I signed up for this madness though." Brad admitted with a look around the room of people either grieving, crying, talking or more than likely gossiping.
"I'm fine, I managed to miss the mayhem of yesterday as I was working." Brad said to them which was true the thing about being in Hollywood was when you were working you had a tutor on set to help you with keeping up with the work. He knew their was a star in the school already, but they had yet to meet not that it really mattered, but he was interested in working as much as possible. "Sods law that I wasn't here when something like this happened, which I guess is a good thing, getting shot would have been bad." Brad said.

“Well I’m glad you don’t have anyone to grieve over,” Lia said, smiling at his accent. She happened to love most accents, though it was more an interest in cultural diversity than just because they sounded hot, though they did. Jandro nodded his agreement for both his sister’s spoken statement and the unspoken. “Our brother is in the hospital, he was shot. He will live, but it seems there might be some permanent damage.” Jandro wished he could give his life so Saint could see again. He knew that it was fear for them that had Saint in the cafeteria and acting aggressive. He was feeling terribly guilty. “What kind of work do you do that you can skip school for? Sounds like something I would like,” he asked, not being a big fan of school as an institution. He didn’t fit in well anywhere.

Brad grinned at this, "I was on set yesterday, I've done a few acting jobs and modelling jobs since I came to the US with the rest of my family. When I came home I made up for it with a tutor, I normally have someone help me keep up with what I miss when I get back home." Brad said to them. "It makes my life a little more interesting, my parents at first didn't see the point of me doing it, mainly because we have money, why the hell would a rich kid become an actor. He doesn't need fame when he already had everything he could possibly want." Brad said to them. "After a week of persuading them they finally allowed me to get myself an agent." he added.
"I haven't stopped having fun since that point, most people do jobs they hate, I get to do the one thing I love most of the time, and well the modelling is a little interesting." he pointed out as he looked around the crowd.
He didn't really think it was appropiate to really be talking about this at the memorial, he thought it was a little disrespectful, but he willing to answer questions with regards to what the twins asked.

Jandro listened avidly. He wanted to model and Saint and his mother both had modeled part time. He did some self-photography that was moderately successful on the internet but he hadn’t done anything for another photographer. He didn’t see himself as an actor either but he admired people that could let themselves go that much. “Saint has done some Goth modeling for some websites that sell that kind of stuff and my mom does some professionally,” he said, wondering if Saint would still want to do that now that his sight was gone.
Lia sighed as she saw the seats begin to fill. “I think that the schools will be making it less easy to have certain freedoms in the future in the name of security. We have had it pretty easy up until now. I am sure that metal detectors will be just the beginning and coming and going during lunch hour will be more structured. They were talking about visitor passes when I went into the office to arrange to get Saint’s work until he can come back,” she said, changing the subject for Jandro could talk modeling for hours.

"I would hope after what happened yesterday that the schools would make it harder for the phsyco's to get into them, modelling's fun but I prefer to be on a different kind of screen, its more fun acting." Brad said to them. "Security is always tight after something like this, but so long as I can do what I have to do I don't care. Hey who knows now the schools are looking into the security, they may look into making the food better than it is currently." Brad said with a side way grin on his face.
"What I would not do for a good old Aussie BBQ right about now, American food isn't quite as good as back home, though KFC rocks and so does MacDonalds, it just isn't the same as good old food from back home. You can take the boy out of Australia but you can't take Australia from the boy or something along those lines." Brad said with a wide smile.
"So what do you guys do in your spare time? You told me a whole lot about your family but next to nothing about you two." Brad said to them with a smile, the two of them were a little weird but it wasn't something he was unused to.

Lia grinned at his enthusiasm for food. “What makes an Aussie BBQ different then American barbecue?” she asked wondering if it was different foods or techniques. Usually Saint handled the cooking in their house, but she wasn’t sure that would be the case anymore so she had decided to start learning more about it. “I don’t know much about barbecue, I’m Ovo-lactate vegetarian so I don’t really barbecue much. As for things to do… I am studying Wicca, the way of the earth.”
Jandro rolled his eyes slightly at the comment about her personal studies. “I like watching movies and going dancing and photography is my passion,” he said, his light blue eyes lighting up. “You obviously like acting, is that it mainly or do you have time for anything else?”
It looked like things might be getting started so they lowered their voices. They had never been to anything like this before so they weren’t sure how they went and it seemed a bit chaotic actually.
