Being at the top had its downfalls. Though, they were very few in number compared to the many benefits Tyler got out of being rich, handsome, charming and a football player. He loved the expensive car, and the gorgeous women, and the sheer fun that came with being who he was. He wasn’t lonely, that was for sure, he could have any woman he wanted, and there was the football team, and his friends. But still, there was very few people like him, who shared his...unique view, that is, considered themselves above everyone else, who happened to be there for their amusement. Which was a complete shame, with all the work he had put in with Maggy, Tyler wanted nothing more than to brag about it with someone, show off his ‘masterpiece’. Some things were more fun shared.
Still, he did have the date to look forward to, wondering now what Maggy’s car was. He presumed he had seen it before in the lot, he just never paid attention to what other people drove unless the car was worth paying attention to. They usually never were. The lot was exactly where he was heading now, for the second lunch in a row, couldn’t eat in the cafeteria after all. Though, some company, a pretty girl perhaps, wouldn’t be unwanted.

Sandy was with a small group of her friends she'd known since middle school. It didn't prepare her for high school, how Greg had adjusted to it she had no idea. The group looked at the students gathered in the cafeteria just like worked ants when their eyes fell upon the most handsome..."man" (in thier minds) they would ever see in their lives.
They whispered among each other over who should go over and talk to him without thier tongue falling out of their mouth and possibly causing them to trip over it. With the whispering and giggling they edged over inch by inch. Fingers got to pointing along with the "My hair isn't good today!" and "I'm feeling way to fat to even been seen today!" It came down to Sandy going to talk to him.
She had no idea what to say to him, he was on the level of Chance Crawford or any of the cast of 'Gossip Girl', after all with the connections Greg had, she never knew who could turn up at the house.
She approached him, her knees knocking together. Her friends all nervously nibbling their nails, was this going to be a happy scream moment or a "lets get the Ben and Jerry's" moment?
"He-hello." She said, her voice almost as soft as a churchmouse. She pushed a lock of her red hair behind her ear.

He had almost reached his car when Tyler remembered he left his mobile phone back in his locker. Annoyed at himself, he considered leaving it when it got the better of him and he headed back quickly to get it. Once the overly expensive equipment was back safe in his pocket, he headed back to his pride and joy, making a detour past the cafeteria on the way there. He had nothing better to do anyway, if Maggy was around he would toy with her a little bit more. Or, he had half a mind to line up something else for after their date tonight. He knew it would be a great achievement himself if he could even hold the girl’s hand for a fraction of a second without her jerking away, so he wasn’t expecting much from her. Another girl though, Nikki was a bit of fun, as he remembered, though, Coco was easily swayed into things, he didn’t see his ex having a problem with hooking up with him that night if he wanted it.
It was better than hanging around home by himself anyway. His father and the step-mom would be out, dinner of course. And it got far too boring far too quickly when there was only him around. His father would tell him to savour the time alone, use it to study or work out, but Tyler felt he did more than enough of that already. IT was hard work being him, not that he didn’t love it, but it bothered the hell out of him the people who thought every single thing in his life was handed to him on a silver platter. He worked damn hard to be the man he was, and he wouldn’t let any jealous types tell him otherwise. Luckily though, they were few and far between, most people acknowledge that he was above them. He knew thinking this could be considered arrogant of him, but it didn’t make it any less true. He was better than most.
Distracted by his own thoughts as he scoped out the room, Tyler almost didn’t hear the soft voice at his side. Glancing at the girl, seeing that it was in fact a girl, his first instinct was to give her a warm smile. Had it been another guy, his reaction might not have been so friendly at being bothered. He liked redheads. He also liked blondes, brunettes, girls with black hair, he was very open that way. She was younger than he would usually go for, off limits already, but some flirting would be a fun way to pass the time.
His eyes skirting to a small group of girls nearby, staring intently at the two of them, he realised that they were no doubt her friends, pushing her into this. What was it with him and the quiet ones, he wondered. “Hey.” Tyler greeted, reaching out to brush the few strands she missed behind her ear. “Sorry, I can’t quite remember your name, are you new? I would have thought I would have remembered seeing you before.” he smiled at her. “I’m Tyler.”

(OOC: Sorry I totally misread he was outside my bad!)
Sandy thought she was going to lose it when he reached over and brushed the hair from her face. Her little heart raced, she had to keep it together. "I started back in January when my brother did," why did it always come back to him? "I'm Sandy ." Her voice squeeked out. Why was it so hard to talk to him, he was just a guy...a hot, handsome guy and probably a couple grades ahead of her.
"My friends and I were talking and you reminded of us of a tv." She didn't catch what she said until it had spilled out. "I mean you look like someone on tv." She felt herself turn about three shades of pink, much to the delight of her friends who were giggling like mad. She bit her lip, trying desperately not to lose it. Where was Greg when she needed him, he was always good at...that was it Greg!
"You might have seen my brother, Greg, around here." She felt a small wash of releif coming over her. "He drives the Mini?" It was a grasp at a straw but one that seemed like a good solid hold.

(OOC: No probs! Easy fixed anyway. Not so easily fixed, it’s just been pointed out to me that Tyler is a Gould student, Sandy is Silver, and neither of us had noticed this, or had an explanation why one would be at the other’s school! lol, so, my post is a bit choppy and over the place, and renders parts of my other posts useless, but, it’ll do!)
“Greg? Yeah, as a matter of fact, I do know him.” Tyler smiled broadly, suddenly enjoying this even more now. It had taken him a moment to realise who she was talking about, but the mention of the Mini jogged it for him. There wasn’t a great deal of guys who drove Minis, especially to school.
And the car happened to be one of the first he noticed when he drove into the Silver parking lot just minutes ago. He knew a few people, made a few friends from Silver, from their time over at Gould, not to mention, knew very well the bevy of beauties the school offered. So, it was a fun place to hang out when his own school was proving boring.
He had nothing against Greg, had only spoken to him really for one short conversation, in which the other guy had actually gave him back his lost wallet, so if anything, Tyler should want to be nice to him. But it didn’t quite work like that. He was bored, and there were fewer fun things than flirting with a girl who had a boyfriend or brother who would get annoyed. Which, in this case would be easily done, with Sandy’s age and Tyler’s reputation. It was safe to assume that Greg wouldn’t be thrilled with his sister getting attention from him.
Plus, it was hard to ignore the attentions of an admittedly cute, if a little mousey, girl, one who was clearly quite enamoured with him. “I’ve spoken to him before, last month when the two schools merged for those few days. I’m Gould myself.” he explained. “Yeah, can’t remember seeing you there though. I’ll have to have ago at Greg, for not introducing me to his cute sister.”

(OOC: I tried to fix it as best as I could, I blame my blond hair on the error!)
IC: Sandy was torn. She could go to Silver and be in her brothers shadow or else go to Gould and not have a connection except with the cute, no, handsome, no, GORGEOUS guy before her who had even spoke to her. "I was enrolled at Silver but I wanted to check out the other school just to make sure. Not that this school is bad or anything!!" She felt herself trip over her tongue.
Ohhhh that smile of his, it truly rivaled Greg's. She noted that for the next time they decided to start arguing with each other which would send him into the bathroom and not only brushing his teeth but using whitening strips for days on end. Sandy knew her brother could be vain when he wanted to be!
She stopped and blinked. Had her ears deceived her? He called her cute? She suddenly knew how Rudolph felt when Clairice called him cute! Only instead of a red nose to deal with, she had the red hair. She didn't want to seem too obsessive though.
"Me? Cute?" She said playing it coy with him. "I'm just me, thats all." There was a small sigh from the group of girls that had talked her into talking to Tyler.

“And modest too, I like that.” Tyler only grinned wider, cocking his head in the way girls seemed to find cute, or sexy, or both, depending on the girl. Well, this was one way to pass the time, flirting with a girl he had no plans on even going on one date with. Not that he needed her to know that. Maybe in another year or so, when she wasn’t quite so...jail bait. And some time for her to develop her...uh, character, wouldn’t hurt any.
Her friends seemed unable to stop watching their exchange, though, they were trying to do their best to make it look as though they weren’t paying any attention. They were failing miserably, their efforts to hid their spying only making it more obvious. It didn’t bother Tyler in the slightest, he didn’t mind an audience. Just more girls to think he was the hottest thing since, was it Zac Efron or whatever his name was that girls seemed to like? He decided, being the nice guy he was, he would give her, and the other girls, a thrill.
“So, Sandy,” he smiled, her name rolling easily off his tongue, “How did you find Gould? Can’t say I mind the thought of you going there at all.” he grinned, reaching his hand out to twirl some of her hair softly around his fingers for a few moments. “Can’t say your boyfriend would feel the same though, I’m guessing he’s goes to Silver too?”

Prickles of goosebumps started to play up Sandy's arms. This was the closest she had ever been to someone of Tyler's stature, unless one had counted the people Greg had worked with on television, which, after awhile, had gotten to be like family to her. He had to do the head cock, it just made him all the more attractive.
She kept thinking how he could be the next James Bond, with his looks and his mannerisms, it would be perfect. Course she'd have to be the girl with some weird name like A. Nil Eeze or something that only the small mind of a Hollywood writer could think of.
Her eyes started to go wide as he spoke her name with such eloquence and sophistication, it made even feel more weak at the knees than she already was. "Its a great school so far, everyone has been easy to talk to." *Except for you* she thought to herself. She was ready to burst when he teased a few strands of her red hair.
"Me? A boy friend? I--I don't have one actually. I keep getting told I'm too young." She was normally sharp as a tack but for some reason, he mystified her, clouding her thought or giving her any reason at the moment.

“Yeah, quite enjoy it myself. On the football team, so I guess that made it somewhat easier to make friends at first.” Tyler smiled warmly, his eyes locked on Sandy’s, not leaving hers for even a slight moment. He found girls liked that, feeling as though they were the only person in the room, as far as a guy was concerned, and he took advantage of that tactic often. So now he ignored her friends, ignored the people bustling past them, instead focussing completely and solely on the girl standing opposite him.
That Greg sure would be annoyed to see the two of them now, all cosy like this. Tyler hid his grin at the image of this, almost wishing her brother would turn up, make things more entertaining. Though, this was fine in itself, if only she was in the same grade and he had the need for it, he could see himself being able to talk her into doing every homework assignment from now to graduation, the way Sandy was eyeing him off. And he was certain it would take nothing more than a quick twirl of her hair through his fingers.
“No boyfriend?” Tyler repeated, making himself look suitably surprised, but stopped short at going over the top. “You can’t be that much younger than me.” he told her, his eyes quickly running over her body as if appraising her, a smile lingering on his lips all the while. “Well, even so, I don’t think you’d be short of admirers, especially given the day.”
