Wynn was finally outside where another set of medics were waiting with police. "Here comes another one Phil!" one of the paramedics called to the other.
"I saw him fall trying to save someone." Wyn choked back the tears. "He hit his head on the corner of a locker." He helped get Cameron on the gurney.
"It's ok son," the one detective told him, or maybe it was the man's mustache talking Wynn couldn't tell through his tears. "We just need some information, just tell us what you know, we'll do the rest.
He took out a pad and pen. "First off the victim's name.
"Cameron Whitlock the third." Wynn wiped his eyes. "Do...do you have to call him a victim, it just sounds so morbid."
"Its standard protocol, anyone in a situation like this is always called victim." He spoke to Wynn as he jotted down the name. "And you what you told us is exactly as you saw?"
Wyn squirmed slightly. "I was coming from the boys room when I saw Haley talking to another guy, I hid so I could at least hear the situation then Cam came along and thats when the shooting started. I kept my eye on them and that was when I saw him try to push Haley to save her but he fell and hit his head." Wyn buried his head in his hands.
"Its ok son, you did good, you may have saved your friends life." The man patted Wynn's shoulder and waved the ambulance off.
Wynn just dropped to the ground, his eyes stinging heavily with tears when a shadow of someone came over him.

If she thought that chaos had erupted within the school outside of it was the apocolypse and they were all going to hell. Sirens rang inside of her head, causing Ryo to cringe, as she made her way away from Gould and to join the others who stood outside of the school. There were people trying to leave but the police had made it impossible as S.W.A.T. members guarded the barricades, arresting anyone who fought back for assault against an officer, Ryo looked around to see if she knew anyone or could see anyone.
A girl was being wheeled out of the school on a stretcher, a bloody patch pressed against her shoulder, as a paramedic tried to reassure the young girl that she would be alright. The girl responded in tears wanting to see her parents. The emotions were a little to much as Ryo turned away and began to walk in an opposite direction. A few people she recognized as classmates ran by but they didn't matter to her. Dacian wasn't here and she was glad. He was in bed asleep hopefully. This was a dream, Ryo thought, and I'll wake up and it will be only a dream-the cries of a couple of kids, clutching onto a police officer, caught her attention as the devestation set in within her. Ryo needed to get out of here or she would crack.
"Crap," Ryo stopped in mid-air as she almost trip on a boy sitting on the ground, "You shouldn't be just sitting there. People will mistaken you for a boulder." It held some humor, just enough to keep her sanity in check, but also hinted at a bit of annoyance for having almost trip over the blonde.

Being jostled as he was made Wynn jump slightly. He looked up with red puffy eyes at the girl. "S--sorry, I just..." he couldn't talk, at least not at that moment.
He couldn't remember her name at the moment. He knew she had gone to the costume party/dance as Ada Wong the zombie killer from 'Resident Evil'.
"I feel like a boulder right now, heavy and unmoving." He wiped his eyes, still dripping with tears. He slowly got to his feet and brushed himself off before letting out a sigh.
"I had to send someone off to the hospital, I don't know if he's going to be fine or not. I just feel so lost right now." Hopefully she felt the same way about the incident, if she didn't then she had to be either inhumane or else not of this world and that seemed unlikely.
There was an akward moment of silence between the two of them before someone with a bullhorn announced that anyone not needed outside needed to get to the auditorium.
That meant going back inside and facing the battle zone.
"I suppose we should do what we're told, at least for the time being." He sniffed.

For a moment Ryo felt a little tired from it all, the emotions running rampant on campus, the blaring sirens in her ears and for a second she wanted it all to just be a dream. Hannah, the blonde sophmore, had seen someone get shot while Sloane and herself were in the restroom safe and away from whatever was going on in the hallways. Ryo was thankful for that but not for the younger girl.
'This was L.A. the city of broken dreams' She told herself as she bent down beside the boy, "You don't have to apologize..." She said, leaning onto her knees, he looked a bit pitiful sitting their but didn't they all.
These things weren't suppose to happen here but now they'd just joined the ranks of Columbine except no one was lined up and shot at for their beliefs. Well, Ryo didn't know if that had happened but it was over now.
He suddenly stood up and sighed heavily, Ryo followed, "I'm sure your friend is okay and with him being in one of those ambulances than he's being properly cared for. Yeah-" It probably wasn't that comforting but it was her intention to bring some, "it isn't something that you'd like to see happen but he should be okay now," she finished not feeling any better about the boys anguish.
Ryo jumped when the bullhorn went off, someone was telling them to go to the Auditorium, "Yeah..." So much for trying to escape now since there were people all around and police officers were probably not going to be so gentle if she made a run for it. "Don't worry to much..." They didn't sound so reassuring this time but for the mean time it was the best she could do.
