"I have never seen ghost or felt one, but I am sure they exist. Weren't you scared.....at least you were not alone when it happened...you said you girlfriend was with you..Izzy..." Ana assumed Izzy was Taki's girlfriend even if it was not true. By the way he talked about being alone with Izzy in the room, despite saying he was in a group it just seemed like the logical conclusion. Of course Ana would be embarrassed to know differently. She never meant to assume but it happened. "Please you are not boring...I have always enjoyed learning about different cultures and how they believe in different things. Obviously we bother believe in spirits or ghosts, but as you were saying it tis different as well." Ana hoped that made sense, sometimes she had issues with speaking clearly.
"Russia only seems harsh, its not tis bad as it seems, but it has its moments. I think the worst part is the seasons." Ana said with a smile. "I have not seen anime..what tis it exactly...I have not had the pleasure...are they like graphic novels..now those I know. Russia loves tis graphic novels." Yet you had to be a certain age to buy them, but that never stopped Ana, then again she was only 12 so it looked kind of bad, but she had older friends and it was the thing to do, but then they moved.
"Tell me about this anime...I would love to learn..." Ana was defiantly intrigued.

"Oh I was very scared," he told Ana with a laugh. "At first I thought Izzy had tickled my neck for a joke but she hadn't. Well, she told me it wasn't her so I have to think it was the Lady of the Light. But Izzy isn't my girlfriend. I don't have one. I only arrived in town last Thursday but already I have managed to get half the school into trouble with the local keisatsu... I mean, police. Aty least three were probably arrested. I think I have been too busy causing problems for people to look for a girlfreind but Izzy is a good friend as is Thad-otousan."
He listened carefully as Ana spoke of her homeland. It was hard to understand every word she said as Taki still was learning the language and her accent was heavy. That said, so was his own so he suspected he was equally hard to listen to.
"Anime is... aaah..." Takumi craned his head back to stare up at the ceiling as he fought for the right words to use as a description. "Animation? Like cartoons. It is very popular in Japan. Like manga. I have a manga book here..." He rummaged in his pack and pulled out a well-handled copy of 'Saiyuki - volume 7'. "See? This is the manga where on TV you see the anime. I have a lot of anime at home but they are all in Japanese. I think some have English sub-tittles... if you are interested in seeing them at some time. Often films are made from manga and anime. Like the one I said just now. Blood: The Last Vampire. I haven't seen it yet, though, but I have heard it's good. Do you like watching movies?"

"I am glad I twas not there then. Had I felt something tickle my neck and it was not the other person I would surely freak out. At least you are okay. I am sure there are myths about possession here just like anywhere else." Ana told Taki. "Although I do not think people are possessed so much just scared and need a reason to explain what they saw or in your case what you felt." Ana usually believed in what she saw. However, that was always open to interrpretation. There were many explainations about ghosts and spirits. "Sorry to assume.....I did not mean too..it just sounded..." She said in reference to Izzy and Taki. "I Have lived in America for a few years, but been here in Californa for a few months."
"I am sure you did not get them arrested. They are children. I doubt this country would throw children behind bars. I bet those kids would rather face jail then their parents. I know I would. My parents can be down right scary when I get....." Ana stopped herself. Her parents were no longer alive and here she was talking about them like they were alive. "I mean they could be very scary." Ana corrected. She shook the thoughts from her head as she just smiled at Taki.
She took the Anime book and looked through it, "Oh I know this...we have this in Russia....tis like Eureka Seven or Cheburashka Arere......" she looked through the book, "This tis what you call Anime....I have seen it in Russia and here a few times, just never knew what it was called." She continued to slowly flip through the book the wrong way of course. She did not read it a lot, "I love movies....do they have this in movies..."

"No, this is manga," he clarified. "Anime is on television. Cartoons. Manga is the book. You read it from the back to the front... see?" Takumi demonstrated the right wa to read the book. "If you start here," he added, pointing to the front and more normal western beginning place, "... you will know how it finishes before you even read the first page. I think manga for America has a warning, telling you to stop and go to the back!" It seemed bizarre to him that anyone would even think to start at the wrong end but then that was understandable given where he was from.
"This hasn't been made into a movie and I don't think it will. Not much anime or manga has reached the cinema and that is a great shame."
The bell sounded for the start of classes and Takumi looked down the hallway for a glimpse of Sidra. She was impossible to miss but also nowhere to be seen. "I think you will have to wait to meet her," he said. "But do you have a locker key? Perhaps you can see Sidra later instead? If I see her I will tell her we have met but for now we should get to class. Do you know where you need to go?" Hopefully she did as Takumi wasn't going to be a heck of a lot of help otherwise.

"I understand now." Ana said to Taki. "Anime on television and manga in book. I will remember that and read back to front....America is a strange place." Ana told Taki. "But I thin I understand it. Finally." It only took forever for her to understand the ways of Americans. It actually was not much different from Russia. Same old Same old..just a few different customs and obviously a different language. Ana heard the bell and quickly checked the schedule she had. "Auditorium...I need to be there..." She pointed.
"But I know where that is. i passed it on My way here. I am good at back tracking My steps. The only way I can find my way around to be honest. I can never find my way there, but I can always find my way back." Ana informed Taki with a smiled. "Thank you for all your help. I shall be on the look out for Sidra...and I hope to see you again. i am sure we will run into each other...jsut hopefully next time it wont be so literal." Ana smiled once more, "Good bye." she said and turned to walk away.
Wrap....tag to wrap.....
