[Character Ana Romano] [Location running through the halls]
Ana had no idea until last minute about the switch in schools. She was just getting use to going to Silver, now she had to go to Gould. Great. Another nice big school to get lost in. One the bright side this was Nero's school which was good. She wondered if she would see him. Although unbeknown to Ana Skye also went to this school. Then again that should not be a factor. Ana was not the jealous sort. Okay maybe she was a tad jealous but that was besides the point. Nero had come to her and said he wanted her and Ana believed him when he said that. She smiled at the dream she had last night. What a dream.
However, now was not the time to think of such dream. She was running late. Her alarm clock was broken. Or perhaps she had turned it off. Either way she woke up to the sounds of crying and since then she had been running late. Her son arrived late to day care, the kids late to school and that included her and Maxim being late. Ana had helped Maxim find his classroom, but now she was running to find hers. And apparently that was harder then she thought.
Ana was running down halls she should not be running down. Trying to find some class room and it seemed like she could not find it. The map she had looked back wards. Then again reading a map was never easy for her. Ana was not even looking where she was going when she rounded a corner and BAM....she hit something hard, soft and spongy....then she fell back wards right on her ass and her books went everywhere. Ana looked up from the floor at what...or rather who she hit...She started to speak in Russian because she was so embarrassed, "Пожалуйста простите мне ...., это была моя ошибка....my ass hurts..." The last part slipped out in English. What she said was it was her fault and to forgive her, but unless the person spoke Russian all they would understand was her ass hurt.

He was currently mid-yawn when the accident happened. Hardly unexpected given his adventures of the previous night. Taki had finally rolled home a little after midnight but had managed to avoiud too much interrogation.
Takumi stumbled backwards a few paces in stunned surprise when the dark-haired girl collided into him. He blinked in even deeper astonishment when she satrted speaking in a language he neither knew nor understood. That said, as the only one that honestly fit both of those categories was Japanese it would have been tricky to please him completely. Ok, so he understood basic English - and was improving - but the girl most definitely hadn't uttered that.
"Your ass hurts?" He assumed she meant her backside and not some randomly hidden donkey. "The floor is... unforgiving, isn't it?" he added with a grin. Takumi reached down a hand to help the girl back to her feet. "Are you ok? You didn't hurt other parts of you, I hope!" He smiled in his characteristically warm manner. "I am Takumi... Yoshino Takumi. I think that book over there is also yours." He gestured towards a water fountain before pouncing on the wayward item. He handed it back to its owner.

Ana took the nice guys hand and slowly stood up. She brushed off her ass and looked around. Ana started to pick up her books. She gave taki a kind smile as he handed her the final book. She was not speaking because she was trying to get over the embarrassment or else the only thing that would come out of her mouth was more Russian and odds are this guy would just look at her like she was in the wrong country.
Ana took a deep breath and sighed, "I fine...just my pride hurts...if you count that." She smiled, "I Anastasia, but please call me Ana." She said with her Russian accent coming out, but her English was there, "Forgive my language. I said Sorry tis my fault, in Russian." She was referring to just moments before when she had talked. Ana held out her hand to shake the other guys hand.
"I was running late and this new school for me. I usually attend Silver, but now I am here for time being." Her English was broken but hopefully the guy could understand what she was saying. If not they might have issues, but on the bright side her English was getting better. "I just started at Silver a few months ago, so getting use to a new school is not easy."

Takumi threw Ana a bright smile as he shook her hand. "It's good to meet you," he replied. His voice was just as accented as hers but in a completel different way. "And it wasn't only your fault, Ana," he added. "I was yawning and not even looking where I was walking. I'm glad you are unhurt. He drew her to one side of the bustling corridor when a group of younger kids ran past. "I only started here myself last Friday," he continued. "But if there's any way I can help you find out where you need to be I would be honoured."
Taki had been looking for Thad to see if he'd ended up in hot water thanks to last night's fun and games but had been unable to track down any of the Cotton family. Hopefull he hadn't passed the rest of the night behind bars or something.
"The place seems ver busy. Did you say you are here from the other school? I think I heard someone mention that Silver had some rodents running around. I thought they meant that as a slang term for the people attending but I am thinking now they actually meant animals. Do ou know how long you are to be here? It will be even harder to find your way around with it being so full." By that he also meant himself as he was still struggling to find his way from location A to location B. A map should definitely have been included in his welcome letter!

Ana nodded. The guy was super nice. The only other person she knew from Gould was Nero and she had yet to find him. So this guy would have to help although when he admitted he just started at Gould, Ana realized this could be interesting. She smiled at him, "I appreciate the offer of help. I have map, but do not remember my locker number. I know I am suppose to share with a woman named...Si...Si..Sidra Cotton I believe...do you know where I could find her and her locker?" Ana said trying top speak as clearly as possible. She hoped it was okay. she did not want Taki getting confused.
"I have only been going to Silver for a few months and already I have had to attend Gould twice. First due to earthquake now rats. At first i thought they were kidding but no..Silver is infested." Ana laughed, "Tis actually kind of funny if you think about it. Silver is infested....not sure why thats so funny, but I have no idea how long I will be here for. last time it was a week." Ana shrugged.
"Maybe we can help navigate this place together. You know rooms and lockers and I have a map, perhaps we can figure this out as we go along." Why not help each other out. Two heads where better then one. "Mind if I ask where you some from?" Most Americans did not speak with Ana accent so she had to draw once conclusion by Taki's accent and that was...he was not from America which made Ana intrigued. She liked meeting people from all over.

"Aaaah sugoi! I know Sidra well. We spent last night together. Well, not together like that. I mean a group of us were out and... I only met her then but I know her brother, Thad, a lot more. I was looking for Sidra or Thad... even their sister, Fallon, but haven't yet seen any of them. I think her locker is this way..." He stepped back slightl to allow her space to walk at his side. "I would very much like it if we can help each other, Ana. I can get you to Sidra's locker but after that... " He shrugged and smiled ruefully. "After that we will need our map!"
"And no... I don't mind you asking me that," he went on in reference to her last question. "I am from Osaka... in Japan. Have you heard of it? It's a huge city, second only in size to Tokyo. It is beautiful there... particularly in spring when the sakura trees are in bloom. Not only is it bustling with life and colour but Osaka is also called 'tenka no daidokoro'. Um... nature's kitchen, I think that means. We like our food in Osaka," he finished with a laugh.
"Here... Sidra's locker is either this one... this one... or this one." Takumi pointed to three different lockers as he spoke. "I think it is the further one..." Taki looked around for someone he recognised to ask but drew a complete blank. "We can wait here for Sidra to arrive maybe? I need to ask her if Thad is ok after last night..." Assuming she even spoke to him again after what had happened!

Ana nodded and smiled as Taki said he knew the girl whose locker Ana was sharing, "I do not know any of the people you mentioned but I would like to meet them. So far since I moved here I have only met three people." And she had been going to Silver for a few months, but Ana had been very busy those few months and it was sometimes hard to meet new people, "I met Ashely Bolton...Nero Moore, my boyfriend, and Skye...I love meeting people." Granted Skye did not seem to like her very much. Then Ana could not blame Skye they barely knew each other. "Group outing...sounds fun..what did you do..."
She followed him to Sidra's locker "I can wait for her. I would hate to open up the wrong locker." She admitted. "Thank you for showing me." She said with a sweet smile. Right when she got use to Silver now she was at Gould. Although from what she could see. Gould was the same just different layout. School was School. In Russia schools were so different it was not funny. "I have heard of that. I am from Russia and so I know Japan very well." She had been there a few times with her dad. "Osaka is very beautiful."
"We can use the map if you can tell me how to read it. What are these funny symbols in the corner." She might have lived in America for five years, but reading a map was foreign and this was a school map. "I might need to find someone in my classes, who can help both of us." She said with a smile. "Or we can ask Sidra if she comes near here.

Takumi bent a little closer to Ana as he answered her first question. He dropped his voice to a whisper...
"We broke into the lighthouse at Point Dume... just north of here," he told her. "We spent the night there searcghing for ghosts. Did you know it is said to be haunted? Izzy and I got parted from the others and... " His voice sank impossibly lower. "... something touched the back of my neck... and it wasn't Izzy." He straightened. "Anyway, the cops arrived and took some of the others away. Izzy and I were in the lamp room at the time and didn't get caught. Thad was one of them and I feel responsible for him as I dragged him along with us last night. Sidra is sure to be mad with me for it."
"But as for showing you her locker. Please, it was an honour, Ana-chan," he assured her with a slight bow of his head. He took the map from her and frowned at it. He could see why it had confused Ana as he could hardly make sense of it either. "Which way is up?" he asked with a sklight lift of his shoulder. He lifted his eyes from the map and grinned at Ana. "Sidra will know. She knows everything. She is a vampire!" he finished with a broad smile.

"There is a haunted lighthouse....is that an American trend....hauntings. I hear they are popular for tourist. Moscow has a myth of a lady who haunts a lake. I think tis the same as the lighthouse." Ana offered. "I have never believe in ghosts, but I do believe spirts. Are they the same?" Ana did not know. Did American's call them ghosts, spirits, or were they in fact different. Ana had a lot to find out. Apparently despite living in America for five years, she still had a lot of work to do. Nero would need to educate her on the terminology in America.
"I do not she would be mad. I am sure her brother knew what could happen when you decided to break in. Although that sounds very exciting. I am sorry the cops broke it up. I am sure they were not too tough on children. I cannot imgaine cops being tough on children. Although I am not sure how tis in America. In Russia if a someone was caught breaking into a place they were sent to special care program until parents could be contacted. Tis a tad harsh...so glad I live here." She told him. Although that was not always the case. It depended on the cop really.
"Ummm I think tis the way up...or maybe this way..." Then Taki mentioned the word vampire. "America has vampires. I thought that was just a myth or a folk tale....do they really exist. How can she go to school if she a vampire....." Ana was not sure to believe Taki, but there was a lot about America she did not know so perhaps Vampire's were real. "There is supposedly a wolf man living in Lithuania....is that like a vampire....."

"Hai... the lighthouse is definitely haunted. I could feel her there..." He shivered at the memory, still excited by their night's adventures, in spite of its abrupt conclusion. "I think spirits and ghosts are more or less the same. In Japan we call ghosts 'yûrei'. Yû is kanji for faint or dim and rei is also kanji for soul or spirit. But there are many different kinds of yûrei such as onryô which are vengeful spirits returned from purgatory or ubume which are mother ghosts that died in childbirth. The most playful ones are those of children - the zashiki-warashi. But I'm now becoming boring," he finished with a grin. "Russia does sound harsh. More so than Osaka anyway."
Their conversation returned to Sidra and her vampiric appearance. Was she a real vampire? He didn't think so but she certainly looked like one. Sidra had been seen at school during the daytime and vampires burned to ashes if they were caught in sunlight... weren't they? "I'm not sure," he admitted. "But she is fun to be around! I'm not sure if a wolfman is like a vampire, though. We have a lot of vampire tales back home. A lot of manga and anime is based on vampires. A new movie is out I think. 'Rasuto Buraddo'... Its called 'Blood: The Last Vampire' over here. I loved that anime series so want to try and see the film." Perhaps he could get Thad to go with him. Then again, Thad was even younger than Taki and the film was sure to be for over 18 year olds. Getting himself in alone would be hard enough. And he could hardly ask Sidra to come with him... could he?
"Have you seen any anime, Ana-chan?"
