Okay so since the game was opened up to allow underclassmen I've been thinking about it...so I caved. Here's my freshman
Name: Roxanne Elise Pruitt Rivera
Nickname: goes by Roxy
Age: 15
Birthday: December 15
Place of birth: Los Angeles
Grade: 9th
Appearance: Roxy isn’t very tall, but she certainly makes up for it in personality. Her clothes are often colorful and fun, she has no problem wearing something completely bright or crazy. She has long dark brown hair that is so dark it almost looks black, cut into long layers, that she usually leaves down. Her eyes are brown and while she is on the pale side, she is half Puerto Rican so she gets really dark when she spends time in the sun. She’s naturally pretty thin and doesn’t have much in the way of curves yet. She doesn’t wear a ton of makeup, but she usually has some eyeliner and lip gloss, nothing to fancy, accept for her accessories. Roxy loves to accessorize.
Personality: Roxy has a pretty big personality and a big heart. She isn’t really out to be the most popular or the center of attention, but she often draws attention to herself because she is on the loud side. She has no problem yelling for someone across the cafeteria or letting out a scream in the hallway if she just heard something big. She likes to have a good time and as she’s still young, she’s mostly in for some good clean fun. If she’s getting high its off of eating too much candy and sugar at the movies.
Roxy is fun and loves to laugh and make people smile. Her parents always said she was a natural performer. Roxy didn’t always agree with this. For as long as she can remember her parents have been trying to push her into the Hollywood scene, although aside from a few roles when she was younger, Roxy hasn’t really had too many offers. It’s not that she doesn’t have talent…she has tons of talent, she just sabotages all of her auditions, usually doing crazy/stupid things that she finds hilarious like making chicken noises in-between lines or doing a comedic scene super dramatic and starting to cry or silly things like that. Roxy likes to perform but she doesn’t really have any interest in doing it outside of say, a school play. She likes the small time. She doesn’t want to be famous.
Town area: Santa Monica
Job: none
Transportation: her parents, bicycle, bus
Family background: Roxy’s parents were both Los Angeles transplants. Roxy’s mom, Adelle is from Colorado and her father, Emilio is from Florida. Emilio moved out to LA to go to law school at UCLA. It was there that he met Adelle who was in his class. Although Adelle has a law degree and passed the bar exam, she never really practiced because shortly after school she got pregnant and decided to stay home with her daughter. They married a year later and Emilio started working as an entertainment lawyer. It took him awhile but today his has a client base that includes some of the biggest stars and movie studios. He’s one of the top.
Adelle liked seeing the fancy Hollywood life through her husband’s job. They’d be invited to all kinds of events. Seeing that her daughter was naturally charismatic and liked to perform (or at least she liked to put on little performances for the family) she decided it would be a good idea to put her into acting. So Roxy has been both modeling and taking small roles since she was a child. Adelle doesn’t understand why Roxy isn’t a big star yet. Roxy of course sabotages her auditions, only giving a real one every once in a great while, usually nailing it and getting the job without question, just to keep her mom off of her back.

200 word writing sample:
Roxy shut her locker and headed down the hall, bopping her head to a beat as if she was listening to music. She didn’t have headphones in, but she did have a song in her head. Softly singing The Airborn Toxic Event as she walked down the hall, only singing a little louder when someone passing by gave her a funny look. She liked to sing songs in her head, get over it, she thought as she went on her way.
Her blackberry beeped a moment later…a text. She pulled it out of her bag, frowning when she looked at the message. She’d landed a commercial. The toothpaste commercial…but she’d totally blew that one! She’d sang all of her lines instead of speaking them! Seeing as it was now an emergency, Roxy broke out into a run down the hall, stopping promptly at [insert friend]’s locker. “You’ll never guess what happened,” she said, shoving her phone into her friend’s face. “This totally sucks! And they’re shooting on Saturday. I wanted to go to the mall on Saturday! We have to figure out a way for me to get out of this,” she said shaking her head. This was such a tragedy.
