Morning After (Tag Jere.)

Jade as he woke up the next morning was acutely aware of the fact that someone was sleeping up against him, half expecting to see his twin when he opened his eyes he blinked remember where they had come the night before his phone was vibrating on the table next to his side of the bed rolling over he answered the phone.

'Bro where the hell are you?' Alex said down the end of the phone.

'I'm in a hotel room Al.' Jade said to him Alex chuckled. 'Not a word to mom or she will freak.' Jade said to him.

'I'd be more worried about dad if I were you, your return or lack there of was missed last night.' Alex said to him Jade chuckled. 'I'm under orders to tell you that you should be coming home sometime today, and expect to be explaining why you didn't come home last night. Oh and their of tomorrow for Paris for a fortnight.' Alex said Jade grinned at this as he looked down at the still sleeping form.

'I'll be home for dinner.' Jade told the boy with a smile.

"His probably not going to like that, you need me to get one of the staff to drop your car of?' Alex asked.

'Yes, thanks Al I owe you one.' Jade said to him his brother laughed at this then listened as Jade gave him the hotel that they were at.

'It'll be their in an hour.' Alex said as he put the phone down, Jade put his phone down on the table before heading for the bathroom.

Jeremy shifted in bed, at that stage just before you wake up but a person wants to remain asleep. He felt someone next to him and he knew he didn't have anyone at home to sleep with him. His eyes slowly opened and he saw Jade sitting there on his phone.

He laid there quietly, listening to his conversation. He was feeling guilty for getting Jade into trouble, after all this was Jere's idea not Jade's. There was no way he would let him take the fall for the night before. He talk to him as soon as he was done with the phone call.

As Jade headed to the bathroom, Jeremy followed behind but stood at the door way. "Well at least I know you're real." He tried to smile. "Sorry I got you in trouble. I'll go with you and talk to your dad." Although he had no idea what he would tell his own parents about where he was all night. "After all this was my idea, you just went along with it." He'd prepared himself for the worst which in his opinion would be that he was a bad influence and that he couldn't see Jade again.

Jade didn't notice the boy or hear the boy until he was right on top of him so to speak, his back was turned to him, and he jumped a mile in the air when the boy spoke.

"You really need to announce yourself." Jade said as he turned to face the other boy. "And you really don't want a piece of my dad when his in this mood, he'll moan and bitch about how I should be acting more responsibily." Jade said to him. "I've had it said to me a dozen times before it will be nothing new to me I assure you, the fun ones are usually when its Alex his exploding at." Jade said with a grin.

He was obviously shaken by the fact that someone had managed to creep up on him, it was the disadvantage of being hard of hearing he guessed that he had to deal with people being able to do it, but he suddenly felt very claustrophbic and had to all but push past his boyfriend to get out of the bathroom his body shaking lightly as he walked into the bedroom.

"One of the staff is going to drop my car of, and since this is one of the hotels that my family uses from time to time, it should only be an hour or so before it gets here." Jade said his voice shaky as he tried to head of the impending attack, he sat down on the bed hands shaking violently.

"Sorry about that babe." Jeremy reached out to caress Jade and calm him down. "I think I can handle your father, you don't need the stress of being told you were irresponsible, I'd rather he yell at me this was my idea." He stepped in closer to Jade, who still seemed upset by the sneak attack.

He was hurt when Jade pushed passed him back into the room. The whole thing had been an accident, Jeremy didn't mean to harm Jade in any way. He bit his lip as he watched him sit, but was there when he saw how badly Jade was shaken.

He stood in the doorway of the bathroom and stared for a moment. "An hour?" He questioned sadly. That didn't seem fair but then he did have the entire night with him. "I don't like how you're shaking babe, this really scares me." He talked as he moved, not wanting to make the situation even worse. He sat down next to him. "Is there something else I should know about? I want you to feel like you can tell me anything." He didn't hold Jade close but just gently rubbed his back.

Jade felt Jeremy's arms around him which didn't help, he pried the boys arms of him standing again and walking to the window opening it he stood their a moment trying to calm down, when he was ready he turned to see he had hurt his boyfriend.

"I'm claustrophobic." he said to the boy embarrassed that he had just basically shown a major weakness. "Your creeping up on me..." Jade said to him. "Lets just say that approaching me like that can lead to a panic attack." Jade said to him as he walked to the mini bar taking out a bottle of coke opening it he took a gulp from it before setting it down on the bed side table before sitting back down next to Jeremy. "I don't need to be hugged anyway, that will just make things worse." Jade said to him. "But thanks for trying." Jade said to him with a small smile.

Jade stared at the ceiling for a little while before he looked at Jeremy again, "When I was eight, I got stuck in a beer distilery's cellar, actually I was locked in one by accident, I hadn't heard my mom calling for me while I wondered the cellar, so they assumed I was clear of the cellar and could shut the door." Jade said to him. "They turned the lights of, I was in there for something like six hours until one of the local constables found me huddled in a corner." Jade explained. "It was a business trip they couldn't get a sitter so we went along, but since then I don't do well in enclosed spaces." Jade said to him his nerves truly frayed. "You have no idea, how terrifying it is for someone still getting used to being practically completely deaf, to be in that situation calling out for help but not being able to hear whether anyone heard you." Jade said biting back tears, he hated reliving those hours of torture.

Jade had pushed away, not the reaction Jeremy had been expecting. He stayed on the edge of the bed, biting his lip. He didn't want to break down in front of his boyfriend but it was so damn hard not to.

Jere's attention focused solely on Jade and his past. It explained a lot. He gently put his hand on Jade's thigh letting him get things out in the open. It was the best thing to do, not wanting to make the same mistake again.

The nightmarish image of being in a darkened cellar in someplace as big and as noisy as a distillery played like a movie in Jeremy's mind. It had to be even worse for Jade with the hearing loss and feeling so helpless and alone. He knelt down on the floor and looked up at him. "I will make sure that never happens to you," he held Jade's hands. "If you ever have a panic attack, remember I will always be with you, right here" pointing to Jade's temple, "and here." pointing to Jade's heart. He saw the tears forming. "Go ahead let it out babe, I'm right here for you." He wanted to join in with him on the tearfest but at the same time he knew Jade needed his space for it.

OOC:I was Partying until half one this morning, so was far to drunk last night to post.

Jade gave Jeremy a weak smile as he pulled himself together, he was used to hiding the pain of that particular moment in his past, but pushing passed it was something he really wanted to do as well, wiping furiously at his eyes, closing his eyes as he reigned himself in he was aware of the tears falling.

"You didn't do anything wrong, I made my own bed when I refused to wear a hearing aid, it was an astetic thing." Jade said to him revealing just how bad things were, Alex was the only other person who knew that Jade needed to start using it, or he should have been using it all along it didn't really matter which, it was clear to anybody looking closely enough at Jade and his life that he was under playing the seriousness of his own disability, and it usually worked unless you were looking at his needs closer than most did.

"Thank you." Jade said to him as he looked up his eyes meeting his boyfriends. "I had a good time last night, and if I freaked you out this morning I apologise." Jade said kissing his boyfriend and drawing him into a hug his body and brain back functioning under one roof.

Jeremy gently wiped away the tender tears falling from Jade's eyes. The event had really shaken him up terribly. "Thats right, let it flow out." Jeremy spoke softly. Jeremy got what he asked for, he wanted to know if Jade was real and this was as real as it got.

Jeremy felt a lump form in his throat. "I don't want to tell you what you should do or anything but I'd feel better if you started to wear one." It seemed like Jade was more about pride rather than the whole cosmotology aspect of having it. "I know Alex and Sarah would also want you to wear it, more for your safety." He caressed Jade's arm. "There are those now that fit right in the ear so no one has to know your wearing one. My dad works with a couple guys who wear them." How do you cusion something so tough as this? "And if its fear of having to do this, I'll go with you, I'll even treat to ice cream afterwards." It worked when he was a kid.

Jeremy smiled back, knowing things were settling. "Thank me? for what? You provided the limo, the beer, paid for the hotel. I could get used to this." He teased. "Anytime I spend with you is a good time for me, I'm just happy you didn't belt me one in the face for sneaking like I did." As they kissed, Jeremy went a step further and let his tongue tease Jade's lips, which would have been leading to pleasure until the familiar "Tra-la-la-lalalala" of The Banana Splits came over Jeremy's phone. He blushed.

"Shit," he grinned. "Hold on." Thankfully it was a text from a friend of his. "Well be glad we didn't go to the rave last night, everyone is locked in right now."

Jade desolved into laughter when he heard the ring tune, he looked at Jeremy, "I'm not sure you can uh date with a ring tune like that." Jade teased him at this. "Though I am glad we are not at the rave, I imagine that some people are going to get arrested very shortly." Jade said with a smile. "You think me being out all night would be an issue for him, you would have an eruption of mega proportions if I needed someone to come get me out of the nick." Jade said to him.

"Your ring tune is cute, I've had and heard worse." Jade said as he laid his hand on the boys leg. "Just after I got the car, I forgot to bring my documents with me or some ID, so I'm driving through down town LA looking forward to doing some shopping, I get pulled over by the cops, I wasn't speeding, but they thought that someone my age should not be driving in a car that was worth more than their salaries and then some. I was handcuffed and taken to the police station my car was towed into the station while they found out who the owner was." Jade said blushing with a grin on his face. "I called the family lawyers and asked them to come down with the documents, in the hope that my father wouldn't make the trip." Jade said to him with a grin on his face.

"My father and this young male lawyer show up, my dad is seething, but I can't tell who his more mad at the cops for handcuffing me and arresting me for stealing my own car, or at me for letting them arrest me." Jade said laughing. "I'm surprised they didn't arrest my old man after they released me, you do not want to see an angry Irish business man screaming at you for arresting his son, as much as he scares me, I'm glad his on myside most of the time, I would truly hate to be on the wrong side of him." Jade said as his phone vibrated he answered it. "Thank you we will be down in a second." Jade said closing his phone.

"You sure you want to face the music with me now would be a good time, to run, I can still drop you of at your house before heading back to mine." Jade said as he started to get ready to leave.
