According to the sage advice of his okaasan, Ryu was sure to find a bookstore in the Westwood Pavillion Mall.
Ryu Kobayashi wasn't so sure. Ok... bookstores by the handful so in that respect his mother had been right... but not one of them had stocked any manga. What kind of bookstore didn't stock manga?
Apparently just about any in America!
He scowled as he left the latest shop, frustration well and truly settled in. Manga. Gods, it was hard to get hold of in this hell-hole of a town. He stopped and looked at a map of the shopping centre.
"Nope. Been there. Nothing at that one. Nah..." He worked down the list of bookstores.
"Kuso!" he hissed... and then he saw it. Right near the bottom and listed under 'Asian Entertainment'... That might mean anything, of course. Music... DVD's... some sort of Hello Kitty fetish shop. Hopefully it meant books.
He set off to find the Kinokuniya Store and, with luck, something that might appease his dark mood.
