Izzy had been running late that morning. She had woken up late. Her alarm had not gone off and Jett was still sleeping. So she could not yell at him. It was not his fault. Normally she would have joked around with him, but he was so depressed and always in bed it was hard. However today he had plans to go out and spend time with Ben so that was promising.
Izzy finally made it to school. Luckily before the bell so she was not too late, but she had to get the latest edition of the paper out. So she had to make a mad dash for the paper room. Izzy was sure she would ended up falling down, running into someone, or something, but she actually made it. No accidents or anything. Izzy made it and had her part of the paper turned in for the paper to be out during lunch.
Izzy left the room smiling widly as she headed for her locker to get her books for first period. She walked down the steps of the second floor, but of course her accident free morning was about to not be so accident free as her foot caught. Down she went, with a tumble, down the last three stairs and on her ass she landed.
"Ow, I think that was more embaressing then hurtful." She said looking at the culprit. A banana peel on her knee. "i didn't think people actually tripped on those."

After grabbing something from the prop room she had accidentally left last week, Jude had to rush to the other end of the school building to get to her class. She hadn't had the chance to meet Eddie even and that pretty much blew. But there was always later for lunch so she texted him as she raced down the emptying halls.
Once would think at the rate she was going, she would have just fallen but no, today was Jude's lucky day. And as she ran down the stairs, she heard someone at the bottom. Hitting send and slipping the phone into her pocket, she turned the corner and found Izzy Chen, a friendly Senior who was on the school paper. Jude only knew this because Eddie had more or less pointed people out before the holidays.
"Omigosh, Izzy are you okay?" Jude rushed to her aid, helping her up to find the banana peel on the ground. "Wow. You fell on that? That is bizarre." Jude looked down at the other girl with a little sympathetic smile. "You don't feel woozy do you?"

Izzy looked up as she saw Jude. "I know, I never thought someone could actually slip on a banana peel." izzy said as she slowly got up. "I feel like that was a bad joke or something." Izzy brushed herself off. "I think I feel okay, but my knee hurts. i kind of slammed it on the corner of the stairs and then landed on it, so it hurts. But other then that i think I feel fine." She hadn't really hit her head so she should be okay. right?
Then again she had yet to actually walk or anything so she would reserve a real answer for in a few minutes when the bell rang. Right now she was just going to stand there and regain her composure and her balance. "I think i need a few minutes before I walk." The fall had probably just knocked the wind out of her more then anything else.
She looked at Jude as she leaned against the railing. "Thanks for helping." She had heard a few laughs. The fall had been funny, Izzy would admit. She chuckled over finding out it was a banana pel but the pain was not so funny. "How are you doing this morning? Please tell me you are doing better then me." She said with a soft smile. izzy wwas glad someone had stopped. Although she was sure she could have managed on her own, it was still nice.

Jude wrapped her arm around Izzy to help her sit down on the stairs, wincing at her description of the fall. She helped elevate the poor girl's knee and looked up. "Is it okay if I massage it? It'll help make you feel better, I promise." She waited for Izzy's permission.
"Oh it's no bother. I know you'd do the same if you were in my position." Jude glared at the people who laughed before turning back to Izzy with a look of compassion. "I'm...doing good. I think I'll be late for class but it doesn't really matter to me. I'll take you to the nurse's office once you feel you can walk but you need to relax the muscles on your knees first and whatnot."

Izzy nodded, "Thanks. I probably just need to ice it for the day and stay off it and it will be fine. I think I have more of a bruised ego then a brusied knee." izzy joked as Jude began to massage her knee. No doubt by lunch there would a rumor going around about her slipping on a banana peel na dhow much of a joke that. Izzy did prefer not to be a part of any rumor, but a rumor like that was fine. "Thanks for the massage it does feel a little better." Although it hurt slightly for the pressure to be on her knee, but it was feeling slightly better too.
"Of course I would help you. Some people can be so rude. They would rather laugh then be nice enough to help. But I would definitely help you." She told Jude. Jude was being nice enough already. "Yeah I will probably spend a little time icing it in the nurses office then go home and just stay off it for the day. I am going to hate to see the bruise on it tomorrow." She chuckled. "I am sorry you are going to be late."

"Of course, of course." She waved off the multiple thanks coming from Izzy. "Are you okay to walk?" Jude plucked Izzy's arms and put it over her shoulders and helped her up. "Easy does it," the blonde let the dark haired senior lean on her. "Okay, just lean on me and try...using more of your other foot to walk."
"Oh please, don't be. I'm pretty sure I'll come up with a perfectly reasonable excuse." She grinned as they hobbled-walked over to the nurse's office. "How did you fall anyway? Were you rushing too?"

"Yeah I can walk. It just hurts to put pressure on it. I have a feeling I have bruised my knee and it might hurt for a few days, but it should be fine. I just probably have to rest and ice it as much as I can." She said as she leaned against Jude. Izzy was really thankful for Jude's help. She could have hobbled her own way, but it makes it easier to have some help.
"I was trying to get to my locker so I could grab my books for class. I was afraid I would be late, and I have the Wicked witch of the East for first period, so I hate being late to her class." izzy said. "I was not looking and I slipped. I lost my footing anf tumbled down the stairs." She told Jude as she they headed toward the nurses office. "It was a stupid move.I should have gone slower, but I didn't think I would slip." She told her. "I think i hurt my ego more then my knee."
