Haley had been keeping herself distracted. School was actually a plesant distraction. Cheerleading was one of course. She loved to be a cheerleader. Besides it was her senior year, this was a time for fun before she went off to college. Which she was working on. She had sent off a few applications and was working on a few more. Haley doubted she would get into most of the places. As long as she got into one, that was all she would need.
However, despite the positives Haley still felt as if in some way she was losing control. which was ironic cause she always tried to be in control and now she was losing it. Since when did a boy make the great Haley Rowan crumble. Apparently thats just what Cam had done. She poured her heart out and left. No phone calls, nothing after that. It was silent and that was deafening.
Well Haley missed him. More then she admitted. What had started out as picking a guy because he was easier to work with, turned into her loving him. She loved Cam. But that was besides the point. The point was now Haley was single and she should be enjoying it. Which is why she sent a text off to Patrick to meet her at the boardwalk for a drink. Why not. Could be fun.
Haley was slowly slipping back to being that party girl she had once been. The one she stopped being cause she hated to be that girl. But she was sliding back to her old ways slowly. Haley arrived at the boardwalk after Patrick and she had tried to be on time, but ended up being five minutes late.
"Hello again. I am glad you got my text." She said as she walked over. "I thought you might not show." She admitted to him. Now here was a good guy. A perfect distraction and one that could make her smile. No strings attached and that was the best part.
