Noah's bright blue eyes blinked three times. Was this really happening? He couldn't help but think it as he stood there looking down at the short woman and her son. She was going on and on about the football game on Friday night and how great it had been. She'd continued on talking about her son who was apparently a freshman at Silver Gould who'd tried out for the team and hadn't made it. The kid was pretty scrawny so it was no surprise to Noah that the kid wasn't football material. The poor 14 year old looked embarrassed at best and Noah's heart went out to him as he wasn't exactly comfortable with the scene playing out either.
He was in the grocery store, running an errand for his mom and now he was regretting it. He thought that LA would be different. Back in Sacramento, it was smaller. There were less high schools and it was easier for people to remember him from the big game. But he thought LA, being the second biggest city and all, he could maybe be more anonymous. Apparently not. Or maybe he just needed to avoid grocery stores. But needless to say the second the mother glanced at her watch and informed him she was running late, he was all too happy to encourage her to go.
He let out a sigh of relief once he was left to himself and glanced down at the short list his mother had asked him to get. It was only five items so hopefully he'd be in and out in a flash and not run into anyone else. He turned around ready to head toward the refrigerator section where he reasoned the milk would be, only it didn't work out as simply as he intended. Before he really knew what had happened he found himself colliding into someone else, knocking them over along with their cart (or someone's abandoned cart - he had no idea) into a large display of canned corn, causing it to topple to the ground.
Noah stood there gaping as he blinked his eyes a few more times making sure this was real. His cheeks flushed as he moved to the person on the ground, holding out his hand to help them up. "Are you um...alright?" he asked, the expression on his face clearly showing his mortification.
Taggles!

Rosalie Naples was happy as can be today. She was able to move into her apartment the day she bought it. She had her parents on the phone the moment she paid and they hired someone to come back up her room. And the apartment was huge and allowed animals so she was able to bring all her dogs and cats with her. While her boxes were being moved in she had a quick run to the furnature store and picked out a kitchen set, a living room set, and a extra guest room set. Then she hit up target and got basics for the apartment, and now she was grocery shopping. After the food and furnature was in by the end of the night she would bring the animals over to their new house. As she was leaving the one asile someone bumped into her. When she was knocked down she was embarressed. She has never had this happened before.
Smiling she took the guys hand and let him help her up. "It is okay accidents happen" she said to him honestly. "It is a bit cowded today and not that big of asiles so no wonder someone collided" she todl him. "Are you hurt or anything?" she asked him looking him over. He looked like he was in high school and a football player. It was only last year so she remember the way guys were built that were football players.

Noah was glad that she was alright but he couldn't help but glance over at the entire display he'd knocked her cart into when she asked if he was alright. "Just my dignity," he admitted, looking at the cans rolling all over the floor. People were just walking around them it seemed and no one had come to clean it up yet. Noah felt sort of bad, he wondered if he should start picking them up but quickly reminded himself that he had no clue how to create a display out of cans.
He ran his fingers through his pale blonde hair as he stood there sort of awkwardly. The girl he'd knocked over was pretty, older it seemed but still young enough that she could maybe be in high school. It was hard to tell. But, she didn't seem to know him based on his football abilities so he was at least relieved about that.
Considering the hype that surrounded Noah, he was actually a quiet and modest guy. He didn't act cocky or think he was better than anyone else or anything like that. In fact, he hated when the guys he hung out with acted like douches, but Noah was usually too quiet to actually vocalize those thoughts and tended to stand by silently unless things really got bad.
"I hope they didn't spend too much time constructing that thing," he said a little awkwardly about the huge display he knocked over. At least the girl wasn't furious with him, he at least had that.

"Well at least you can look back on this and laugh. I know I will" Rosalie said with a grin. "I can say my frist day moving into my first apartment was unforgetable" she said with a giggle. She began moving the cans out of the way of the middle of the aisle so no one would get hurt by falling over one of them. She looked up at the guy he did look so embaressed. "Well this can give them somethign to do once things slow down, and make a better dispaly" she said to him. "I am sure they understand accidents do happen."
"I am not sure how long it takes to make one of these" she admited. "I never worked in a plce like this before. I didn't get my first job till now" she said. "I just got a job at a vet as a receptionest and also I help out with the animals their." She was busy with work and the animals at her house and her parents animal sanctuary. "I am not sure how long I am going to be their, I hoping to eventually get a job at the zoo working with animals or tour guide or whatever" she said. "Sorry aboug going on like that without introducing myself I am Rosalie Naples."

Okay, well she just thought it was funny. It didn't do much for Noah's dignity but it could be worse. He could be getting screamed at or recognized as a Gould Silver football player. "Yeah, well I'm sure I will laugh about it some day...but I don't know if that will be today," he said, forcing a small smile. Okay, maybe it was kind of funny. He could only imagine if Sophie was there she probably would be on the floor laughing right now. Just the thought of that brought a real smile to his face.
He too helped push some of the cans off to the side, setting them right up so they wouldn't roll around as the girl talked about herself. She seemed quite pleased with herself as if she was looking for someone to share this information. Noah didn't really mind though given that she was taking the focus off of his accident. Maybe she was doing that on purpose. If so, he made a mental note to thank her later.
"That's cool," he said. "My sister just got a cat yesterday," he offered, "I've never really had animals around the house before though," he said with a shrug. This girl seemed to be like a regular animal enthusiast. While Noah didn't mind animals, he'd never cared much one way or another when it came to pets. He did like Sophie's new cat though, he had to admit that.
"Zoo animals, wow - are you going to school for that sort of thing?" he asked, assuming she must be out of high school. After all, high school students typically lived with their parents not in new apartments. "It's nice to meet you," he said, although part of him supposed that it wasn't so nice given than he'd had to knock her over to do it. "I'm Noah," he said simply as he pushed the last can aside. "There," he said, "umm sorry about that," he added to a clerk as they came to examine the mess. He sort of really wanted to get out of there now that the people that worked there had discovered it. He half wondered if they'd throw him out of the store.
