Catalina showed up at the hotel by the beach. She was getting ready in a room with her bridal party while Colby got ready in another with the grooms men. She was smiling and wanted to sing and dance she was so happy. Walking in she saw that she was the first on their. She ordered a glass of orange juice and took off her clothes and put on her under things and put on a short white silk robe on. So that way when it was time to get ready she would not have to mess up her hair. Hearing the door she turned and smiled at her Aunt. "Hi Aunt Jenny."
"You look so happy Catalina" Jenny gave her a hug. It was wonderful to see her niece smiling again like this. "Are you ready to become Mrs. Colby Jergens?" she asked.
"I am more then ready" Catalina said honestly."You are the first here" she said. "So we just need Izzy, Baily, and Sophia, Sophia is bring a make up artist with her to do my make up and a hairstylest, she said I should be treated like a queen" she said with a laugh.
"Yes you should" Jenny kissed her cheek. "I brought the bridal party dresses and yours said indicating the dress bags on the bed. And the shoes and all to, so everything is here just waiting to be put on" she said with a smile.

There was a small knock at the door, it was Sophia with Bailey in tow along with the makeup and hair person. "I heard my name." Sophia laughed entering the room. She smiled as she looked Cat over. "I never thought this day would come but here it is!" She started to sniff. Bailey handed her a tissue. "She's been doing that all day so far!" Sophia smiled at her daughter. "Cat before we start with everything I wanted you to have something." She took a small felt box from her purse and opened it. "This belonged to my grandmother and its been handed down to the next Jergens' bride. It falls into the whole something new, something old bit." She looked down at the ring then back at Cat. "Welcome to our family." the ring: ny-image2.etsy.com/il_170x135.185734366.jpg------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Colby was in his room changing into his outfit for his big day. He took a drink of the apple juice he ordered with breakfast. He looked himself over in the mirror. It really had him smiling, to some it might look like a joke wedding but they both wanted something casual yet with elegance to it. He turned when there was a knock on the door. He quickly put his shorts on for the wedding. "It's open, come on in." Greg entered already dressed with his mother behind him. "Sorry Colb, mom wanted to see you before things got started." "It's fine, I always felt like she was mom to me." Colby laughed as he hugged Dixie. "My God Colby, I never thought this day was coming, mister I'm going to be a lifelong bachelor!" She laughed breaking the hug and giving him the approving look. "Hey, its famous last words from any guy until they meet the right girl and I did." She laughed again as did Greg. "Oh one thing, I found this photo of you and Greg when you guys were like five or six. Could I have you and Greg pose like this again so I can do a then and now set for a scrapbook?" "Sure thing, c'mon Greg." Both guys stood facing the camera and flexing their biceps and grinning like fools. "1..2..3!" The flash went off and history was recaptured. |

Jenny teared up to and smiled. She was so happy her niece was happy, and she loved the Jergens family. She could see them all getting together for all the holidays in many years to come.
"No crying" Catalina said a few tears swimming in her eyes. "I haven't cried yet, I don't need to be all puffy" she sniffled and gave a smile. She smiled at the makeup artiest and hair dresser that Sophia brought. "Thank you for coming to do this for me" she said to them honestly and sincerly.
Jenny gasped when she saw the ring. "It is beautiful" she told the rest of them.
Catalina couldn't hold back the tears and a few fell down her cheeks. "Oh Sophia it is beautiful, thank you" she said. She gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "I feel very lucky to become a part of your family" she said honestly as she pulled back. She took the ring out and put it on the oppisite hand that her wedding rings would be on.
Jenny smiled, and knew that her niece found the right family to become a part of. She was loved by them and that is what she knew Catalina's parents wanted for their daughtere. "Get ready for more tears as the day goes by" she warned Baily. "I will proably cry during the ceremony myself" she said honestly.
"I am sure I will to" Catalina said. "We are saying our own vows so I am sure I will cry during mine and his both" she said. She was pratically glowing as she was told to sit in front of the vanity in the room to get her hair and make up done. "I can't wait to see Colby's face when he sees me in my dress."
