"I'd better say yes, then," Christophe replied with a grin. And he was... seriously lucky as well he knew. Never in his wildest dreams had he imagined himself in this position... Dating Sarissa... holding her... dancing... making love. He was the luckiest guy alive.
He drew in a deep breath and focussed fully on the girl in his arms when she posed her question. "Good. I've been good," he replied. "The coursework is getting trickier I have to admit. We have a field trip coming up in a couple of weeks, though. Heading out to Mexico... Baja," Christophe told Sarissa. "Just for three days. Camping at a place called Magdalena Bay. It seems it is a good area to study green turtles in their natural habitat. A pity you can't come too as the area is said to be particularly lovely. And what of you? How is your course going?"
The evening was going far better than he'd ever expected and Felipe smiled down at Fallon as they danced. His smile deepened even more when she stretched up to kiss him lightly.
"Yeah," he almost whispered back. No LizBeth or Xavier... just a well -intentioned mutual friend who had nudged them together. Felipe and Fallon owed Sarissa miore than words could express. He leaned down and returned her kiss and this time took a little longer over it. She tasted of strawberries to him... and Felipe Vila Nova was very fond of strawberries!

"If you want to get lucky tonight, then yes, you better say yes." Sarissa said playfully. She smiled at him as they danced closely. Her body close to his. Things between them had definitly changed since they met. When they met Sarissa had been with Tyler, and had wanted him. Yet some how Christophe wormed his way into her heart instead and when they had gone away for Christophe's naming ceremony was when Sari realized how much she liked him and how badly she had treated him those months ago. Thank god that was old news.
"If you can sneak me into your duffle bag, i would love to go." She chuckled. "Those are going to be three long days. Perhaps I can go visit the reservation. That way I won't be alone and Snow bird can help me, while I am waiting for you to come home." Sari commented. "I am doing great now. Not only have I realized how good of a match maker I am. But one of my classes is requiring us to do a project on a culture we have yet to study." She said. "So I am going to be needing to spend many nights at your place, if I am to learn about your culture." She said looking at him. "Are you okay with that?"
Meanwhile Fallon was smiling at Felipe as they slow danced. It truly seemed as if this was not a blind date, but an actual date. Fallon felt Felipe kiss her again and she gladly wrapped her arms around his body. One hand ran up and down the back of his nect, while the other rested on his shoulder as she kissed him. He tasted sweet with a hint of salty, which was fine with Fallon.
when they finally pulled away, Fallon actually tripped a little, but thank god Felipe had his arms around her. "I think I literally went weak in the knees." She chuckled. "I think we should do that again." Fallon said with a blush.

"I wish you could come with me as well," Christophe confided. Three days apart... It would seem like a lifetime! "I think you going to the reservation is a great idea. Its been a while since your last visit... and mine!" he added with a wry lift of his shoulders. University had kept them both busy... as did their social life... albeit normally spent on their own! "Of course you can spend some time with me. I'd love that!" he replied. "As long as you need..." The longer the better, in fact!
The dance came to an end and it was pretty clear the stage area was being set up for the magic show. He and Sarissa returned to their table and sat down. "Would you like another drink...?" he asked Sarissa. Felipe and Fallon had yet to come back... He glanced over at them. "Mon dieu, they seem to be getting on well!" he stated with a short laugh. He spotted teh tail end of their pretty heated kiss and Fallon's subsequent 'stumble'. She is as subtle as you!" he pointed out.
Felipe tightened his arm around Fallon and made sure she'd regained her balance before releasing her. He was only too happy to repeat the kiss as requested, oblivious to the fact that a) the music had ended b) everyone else had vacated the dance floor and c) their two dinner companions were watching in clear amusement from across the room.

"Maybe you could teach me some words in French." She suggested. "I think this could be a great way to bring us closer. I get to learn more about you and your culture. Well more then I already know." Sari spoke softly so Christophe could hear her. "Perhaps we should make a visit before you leave, when is that exactly?" She asked. Cause maybe next weekend they could go for a trip.
"I know snowbird will be giving us looks the whole time." She chuckled as she slide into the booth and looked toward Felipe and Fallon. "Yes I will have another drink, and no she is not as subtle. Try obvious. No doubt that kiss took her balance away. Kinds of makes me think of our first kiss." Sari said. "You remember that don't you. I never told you this, but had you let me go I was sure I would have slid to the floor."
Fallon smiled at Felipe as the kiss ended. "I am definitely enjoying this blind date." She said to Felipe. It took a few moments before Fallon realized the music had stopped and that people had probably looked at them just standing there. "Perhaps we should sit." She said. Fallon slid her hande into Felipe's and led him back to the booth.
She got in first, then followed by felipe. She looked at Sari and then at Christophe and then at Felipe. "So how was your dance?"
"Not as steamy as yours apparently." Sari said.

"You want to learn some French, hein?" Christophe lifted his left eyebrow and his dark eyes glinted with amusement. "Not THAT sort of French," Sarissa stated and he laughed. "Ok have it your way," he said with a broad smile still plastered across his face. "I shall teach you some cleaner words. And yeah... I'd like to come up to the reservation with you before I go. The field trip isn't for another two weeks so we have plenty of time. It would be great to see Bodaway and Gopan again. And Elina... All of them, in fact." He played with the leather bracelet he'd been given at his naming ceremony. It hadn't left his wrist since that day. It even showered with him. He smiled at the memory of the dance on that day. He'd never forget it... The others rejoined them at that moment and the next few moments were spent teasing the pair. Their kiss on the dance floor had been in open sight of the entire room, after all! "So how was your dance?" asked Fallon. "Not as steamy as yours apparently." Sari said. Christophe smiled innocently back at Fallon... and prodded Sarissa's left knee at the same time. She was incorrigable! The magician act had started by now and the caped guy was calling for a member of the audience. "I believe that is your cue, Sarissa," Felipe commented with a deadpan face. Payback time it would seem and he threw Fallon a wink before he settled back to see if Sarissa would go through with the dare...

"I think they miss us. I feel bad not going up there as much as I once did. I thought I would have time. Turns out I was mistaken." Adjusting to college had been very hard. Luckily she had people like Felipe and her boyfriend Christophe which made it easier. It was so different then high school, thats all. But she liked the fact she got some more freedom. Sari covered his bracelet with her hand as she watched him stare at it. "I think it looks good on you." She said softly.
The teasing started the moment Fallon and Felipe ended up at the table. Fallon ended up blushing and Sari ended up with a poke to the knee. "What? i didn't do it." She said in a playful tone. Then the magic act began and Sari looked around the table. "You all are chickens." She said as she motioned for Christophe to move. "If I do this, then you two are going on a second date." Sari joked as she walked up to the stage.
Fallon chuckled. "I thought she was here when we planned the second date. If she missed it, then i feel no need to correct her." She said as she looped her arm through Felipe's. "So tell me something I don't know about you?" She questioned.
Fallon sipped her drink. Their meals arrived as Sari began the magic trick. "What did you order?" Fallon asked Felipe. "it looks good. So i was thinking, I know I am a junior and you have graduated, but the homecoming dance is next Saturday, would you want to go? maybe?" Fallon asked hoping for a yes. If not it would be fine, but she could hope right.

Christophe watched Sarissa make her way to the stage, the hint of a smile on his lips. This ought to be most entertaining. Hopefully she would soon return, though, and with all of her limbs as they should be! He sipped his drink as he watched...
"Something about me that you don't know? Hmm... that is tricky. You know I fence and that I like football and acting. You know I am from Sao Paolo and am at UCLA... " He thought hard. "My siste... Ana Izabel... she calls me Filly," he revealed with the hint of a frown. Maybe that wasn't the best of secrets to share?
Christophe overheard and strove to keep his face as straight as possible.
Felipe ignored him - other than a good-humoured glare. "My nickname back in Sao Paolo was Palhaço. It means 'Joker' as I was always playing tricks on my friends. Your turn. Something I do not know... And as for the dance... I'd love to take you, Fallon," he added. "I would be honoured to go with you."

Sari ended up being used for a few tricks. Luckily none involved her being sawed in half, but one did end up causing her to get wet, and not with water, it was with jello. which also made her sticky. Don't ask, but it was weird. another trick involved her acting like a chicken and a horse. After that she returned. By now most of the jello, was off her face and only on her shoulder, leaving a dark stain. She waited for Christophe to move so she could slid into the booth, "You all owe me big time. and no making fun of me." She said giving everyone, especially christophe a mock glare.
Fallon laughed at what Felipe told her. "Filly, and Joker. I like that. Those names suit you." Fallon joked. Her smile grew as Felipe offered to go to the dance with her. "Oh thank you, cause going alone would have sucked and I was hoping you would say yes." The homecoming dacne was definetly more appealing now, then before.
This is when Sari returned, and fallon ended up laughing at what she said. "Oh I promise not to mention a word of this for the rest of tonight. But tomorrow is another story." She smirked.
Sari threw a napkin at Fallon, "The things i do, for a friend. next blind date you are on your own."
Fallon smirked and looked at Felipe. "I don't think there will be another blind date. I am quite happy with this one." She said. "Now as for what you asked me..." she took a moment to think. There was lots she could tell him but that stuff was too serious to talk about on a first date, so instead she decided to tell him of a nickname her dad use to have for her.
"My dad, back before my parents divorced use to call me giggle pots. The reason for that was that he would always tell me to keep secrets. Like if he had a cookie, i couldn't tell mom, if he let me stay up an hour late, i couldn't tell mom. You know silly secrets. Well I would always laugh, and when i laughed my mom knew something was up. I never could keep a secret very well when I was younger." She said.

The rest of the evening progressed along a similar vein. Jokes were shared and the table was filled with the sound of laughter. Christophe grasped Sarissa's hand beneath the table and Felipe unknowingly mimicked that action with Fallon. As blind dates went this one couldn't have been better with Felipe still wondering why he hadn't looked at Fallon in this light before. He'd been blinded first by his feelings for Jessica and then LizBeth... Finally it had been Abby but that had been futile from the start... and yet all the while Fallon was right here literally beneath his nose. What a fool he'd been... So much time wasted.
Still, he could make up for that now... couldn't he?
(maybe wrapped? and aww...)
