Okay....couldn't help myself with more new characters...got another pair of siblings This is one of two...
Character Name: Noah Brian Conway
Nickname: Conway, One Two (cause his football number is 12)
Age: 16
Birthday: December 13th
Place of Birth: Sacramento, CA
Grade: junior
Height: 6'0"
Hair Color: blonde
Eye Color: blue
Detailed Appearance: Noah is tall with a nice muscular build (since he works out) so he makes quite a presence. His hair is blonde and he keeps it somewhat long, falling just above his pale blue eyes and usually into them before he even thinks about getting it cut. He has a normal complexion, not very tan, but not really pale either, with plump lips that sort of naturally pout like he's brooding or something, which he probably isn't. His style is pretty plain and simple. He wears a lot of basic things, solid colored or striped T-shirts, jeans, hoodies. He wears a lot of football stuff too, mostly because he has a ton. He isn't really the type to think about what clothes he's putting on, he just sort of grabs whatever. But all and all he has that all American boy sort of look to him.
Personality: Noah is actually a pretty quiet guy. He's very soft spoken, and often stumbles over his words when trying to get them out. He's not always shy...he has his moments of boldness but it usually ends in him getting shy half way through the conversation and feeling really stupid. He is sort of a sports nut, but that's really not all there is to him. He actually kind of hates that people assume that all he knows about is football when he's also really into music and reading books and all sorts of other things. He's been a star running back on every football team he's ever been on, and with his father being a coach, he's always had a lot of pressure on him. Noah doesn't completely know how to deal with pressure. In fact, his way of dealing with it is usually to not deal with it. He won't say anything and just let's it build up, all the while pretending that he's fine. He isn't really the best at sharing his feelings with others and tends to keep them all to himself, usually only opening up to his younger sister, Sophie.
Thoughts on High School: Noah is new to Gould Silver so he doesn't really have thoughts on that specifically. As for high school in general he doesn't mind it so much but just wishes that there was less pressure on him about sports.
Town Area: El Segundo
Job: none
Transportation: 2002 Toyota 4 Runner
Family Background: Jonathan Conway - Football Coach, the new coach of Gould Silver starting this year
Amy Conway - nurse
Sophie Conway - age 15, younger sister
History: Jonathan and Amy met in college. Jonathan was a star football player at USC and Amy was a cheerleader. They married shortly after college and Jonathan went pro, landing a coveted position on the Oakland Raiders. But he blew out his knee in his rookie year and after many surgeries he was told that he couldn't play anymore. Without much to fall back on, Jonathan got a job coaching PW football and worked his way up. Amy had a degree in nursing so she put that to use, giving them a decent salary to live on. Eventually they had Noah, and a year later they had Sophie. Noah's football talent was apparent from a young age. Jonathan pushed him into being a quarterback but when he reached JV in middle school, there was already a star quarterback who was older so Jonathan quickly suggested to switch Noah to running back where he really reached his element. Jonathan coached a number of different teams mainly in Sacramento. When he landed the job at Gould Silver in Southern California, he was really excited, mostly hoping that Noah would get scouted by USC, where he really wanted him to play before going pro. Noah's entire life he's been told he'd be a pro football player one day, but the problem is that no one ever asked him if that's what he wants to do. He does love football, but he can't stand all the pressure.

Writing Sample: Noah slid his hands into the back pockets of his jeans. It was Monday. The game had been Friday, but people were still congratulating him. One would think that he'd be used to this sort of thing, but he never really got used to it. "Um, thanks," he responded quietly, uncomfortable with all the attention. Even the pretty girls...he wasn't sure what to do with them. Okay...he knew what to do with them, and he had done it with quite a few, but it was always complicated. He hated the cheerleaders that wanted to be with him because he was good at football. He felt like no one really knew him most of the time and it just got...tiring. He didn't want some girl acting like he was cool just because he played a sport that she probably didn't know any of the rules to anyway. Sure, sometimes it could be fun, but it got old.
He pressed on, heading down the hall, just simply nodding at the people who congratulated him. He tried to ignore them, making a bee line to his locker, which he stuck his head inside hiding for a few moments. He probably looked like a freak but it was quiet like he liked. Noah just wasn't a showy guy. He did like football but he didn't want that to define him. He liked lots of things. He grabbed his tattered copy of Less Than Zero, which was his favorite book. He'd probably read it a dozen times. No he really had nothing in common with Clay, the main character, as he knew no one who did drugs or went clubbing all the time, but at the same time he had everything in common with him because he felt a huge disconnect with the rest of the world, just like Clay did in the book. The book had become sort of like a safety blanket for him in his new school, reading it in-between classes mostly to give him something to do.
He opened up the front cover only to see a hot pink post-it note stuck in there. The handwriting was distinctly Sophie's. His sister knew him too well...she knew he'd be carrying around that book. The post-it read: Football blows! Get a new hobby! Noah couldn't help but smile, knowing his sister's distaste for the sport. He'd have to leave a note in one of her books later. They did things like that. He grabbed one of his notebooks and his textbook for first period, just before the bell rang. No one would be able to congratulate him now as they all would be running off to class. He smiled again, glad that he would have some peace.
