Noah nodded. "Yeah, I should probably do that," he said feeling a little awkward still. "If you guys want to hang out for a few minutes I can find out what's going on and let you know," he offered before he headed inside the locker room.
Inside there were more congrats to him as he made his way over to his locker and pulled off his jersey and football pads, chatting with the guys about their plans. It seemed like there were a few different ideas going around, but the most popular one seemed to be the idea of driving down to the beach, setting up a bonfire and drinking some beers.
Noah liked this idea as well. Sure it would be a bit of a party, but it seemed like it would be more chill which was what Noah preferred. He headed into the showers and was in and out in a matter of minutes not really worrying about things like washing his hair or anything like that, mostly just wanting to wash the sweat and grime off from the game.
He easily changed into the solid light blue T-shirt and jeans he'd worn to school that day, throwing on his football letter jacket on over that. While the days were still relatively warm the nights still got chilly in California and he knew that the breeze coming from the beach would be especially cool.
When he headed outside of the locker room maybe 15 minutes or so later he was half supervised to still see Casper and Reagan hanging out although it seemed like a few other guys from the team were not mulling about outside the locker room as well. "Oh, hey," he said to them. "Looks like people heading over to do a beach bonfire," he said, nodding as he stuck his hand in the pockets of his coat. "I guess I'll check it out at least for a little bit. What do you think you guys are going to do?" he asked not really sure how to go about it. He wasn't exactly friends with Reagan or Casper but he wasn't opposed to making friends either. Still, he wasn't sure how that whole plan making thing worked given this situation.
