Closing her eyes for a brief moment as she spun around, Roxy really wasn't aware of anything around her. Dressed in a black skirt that resembled sort of a modern tutu, purple tie-dye tights and colorful Converse sneakers, the brunette was in her own little world.
Her hair was down and swung about as she twirled, her mind consumed with her noise canceling head phones, the sounds of dance music filled her ears. Roxy had never been one to embarrass easily anyway, so the fact that she was quite literally dancing down the hallway of school, didn't really phase her.
She opened her eyes and went to make another move...a cool sashay over to her locker, only not really paying attention, Roxy sashayed into someone. She giggled and pulled off her headphones. "Sorry," she said, still giggling.

Coming down the halls of the school, Zane looked like a small turtle, with his pack on his back and slightly hunched over. So far no one had teased him or lock him inside a locker, maybe today would be a good day.
He stopped to adjust the strap on his back, so it wouldn't look so off balanced. He looked up in time to see a girl sashaying toward him. He closed his eyes covered his face, bracing for impact.
When they collided, he at least didn't fall over. His right finger went for his mouth where he nibbled the nail. "It--it's okay." Came a stammered reply. He was never sure how to talk to anyone especially when it came to girls. "I--I should ask if you are okay?"

Roxy grinned at the shy older boy. "Oh, I'm fine!" she said with a wide smile. "I should be asking if you're okay," she pointed out, "I was the one that bumped into you, well danced into you but that's besides the point," Roxy said. The boy seemed mostly okay though so she was pretty sure that he was alright, even if he did seem to be painfully shy. He sort of reminded her how Levi had been when they'd first met during their freshmen year.
"It's just this new song," she went on, "its great and just like it says, it makes we want to dance!" she smiled. She was speaking of the first single by this new artist, Lady Gaga, she called herself. The name was totally crazy but Roxy had already bought her cd which had come out in August after hearing the "Just Dance" single. She loved it and hand been listening to it almost constantly.
"But yeah, sorry," she repeated herself, seeing that he still looked sort of freaked out. Roxy knew that she could be perceived as weird sometimes so perhaps it was just that. "I probably shouldn't be dancing in the halls at school anyway..." she admitted, adding in a deeper voice quoting her father, "it's all fun and games until you end up hurting someone, Roxy," she said with a nod of her head. "That's what my dad says."
