"They won't mind," he replied, not sure if that would be the case when they stated they were sharing a room. Then again, they already knew that he and Izzy had slept in the same bed the night of the prom. He was old enough to have sex... and they were well aware of that, despite that not having happened yet! And besides, there was still the guest room if Izzy changed her mind. Hopefully that wouldn't happen!
"Thursday sounds great! I shall tell my parents you are coming over. For a meal as well?" he offered and Izzy nodded. "Sugoi! Then it is a date!" he stated with a broad grin.
The lunch hour had seemingly evaporated and the pair knew the bell to signify the afternoon classes would soon sound. They quickly devoured the rest of Takumi's dorayaki and he then packed away his empty lunch box. At least they shared the first of those classes.
Physics.
"Baka tare!" he exclaimed, calling himself a total moron. "I forgot to do the homework for today," he added in a low voice. "Do you think I will be able to lie and be believed?" After all, when had he had tinme to make a fully working perpetual motion machine? He hadn't even understood fully what he'd been supposed to do! Motion - that he'd understood but perpetual? No, that was an entirely different matter!

Izzy had no parent to really say no and Jett would tell her to spend the night. Then again Izzy's mom would have handed her a condom and told her to go. So Izzy had no problem with spending the night and just sleeping in his bed. Assuming it was a repeat of prom night. What Izzy was nervous about was what might happen. But she had until Thursday to think about things like that. Right now Izzy decided to focus on Taki's problem.
"You may be in luck I haven't seen the Physics teacher today. We may have a sub." Izzy said with a shrug. "Oh or you can claim you left it at home and will bring it tomorrow. I mean you look so innocent i would believe you." Izzy said smiling. Of course she would believe him. " I can help you work on it tonight? Or if we have a sub I can help you on Thursday." Izzy suggested hoping for the sub. Some teachers didn't come back the first week do to who knows what. She hoped the physics teacher was like that.
Yes the teacher was here yesterday, but she hadn't seen the woman today maybe she took the rest of the week off. It was a long shot. If anything hopefully she would believe Taki about leaving it at home. She seemed reasonable. Yeah just say you left it at home, and I can help you tonight. it's not that hard. Just may take us a few hours...alone...in your room to work on it." Izzy said smiling as she stood up and held her hand out for his.

"The usual sensei is absent?" Takumi grinned broadly as they headed back inside. "It seems fate is smiling down on me today, hai?" he added as he slid his arm around Izzy's shoulders. And now she was coming over tonight to help him with the assigment! Out of the ashes rose the phoenix and Takumi was never more glad to have forgotten to do his homework!
They stopped by their lockers before moving on towards the pohysics classroom, hand in hand. Today had started out slowly but was most definitely picking up now!
