Name: Cordelia Rose Victorino
Nickname: goes by Delia
Age: 16
Birthday: August 3rd
Place of birth: Santa Monica
Grade: 11th (Junior)
Appearance: Delia has a very natural look about her. She is biracial, being half from Hispanic decent and half from German decent. She has long dark brown hair and almond shaped brown eyes. Her skin has a natural tan which only gets darker when she spends more time in the sun. While she wears makeup, it is usually very minimal and natural looking, only enhancing her natural beauty rather than changing it.
Delia is relatively tall, standing at 5'7" and her body is very in shape since she is a tennis player. Her clothes, while in style, tend to be casual. She likes wearing skinny jeans with ballet flats, and simple tops that are comfortable but still look nice. While she's not above wearing T-shirts, she usually saves them for the tennis court or working out, as she likes to make herself look somewhat nicer on those other occasions.
Personality: Delia tends to come off as a bit quiet, but don't let that fool you. Delia is a strong person. While she doesn't always appear that was since she can be one of few words, she has an affirming presence and definitely is not going to let anyone push her around.
While Delia is a nice girl, a girl who tends to do the right thing and stay out of trouble, she doesn't see anything wrong with a little fun every once in awhile and doesn't really judge things people do. Growing up with her father, who kind of always played by his own rules when it came to the law, Delia understands that there are different versions of right and wrong and that some things can be up to their own interpretation. She's smart and quick-witted. She's also a great liar since she often had to lie for her dad's sake. Also, due to this, Delia sometimes can form a bit of an attitude especially when it comes to protecting someone or talking to an authority figure. When this attitude comes out, it can often be a bit shocking especially to teachers and other adults, but its only more of a proof of Delia's strong nature despite her quietness.
She's not really shy...just quiet. She isn't really secretive, but she has no problems concealing things from people. She does have a hard time maintaining close relationships, although she wishes there was someone she could share with and truly be herself around.
Thoughts on High School: Delia knows a bit of what happened last year from speaking with her cousin Ella, but for the most part she never thought much of it because it didn't effect her. She had her own problems to worry about. Now, starting a new school, Delia mostly hopes that she can just get by staying under the radar and out of trouble.
Town area: Santa Monica

Mother - Janet Katz - whereabouts unknown [35]

Aunt (father's cousin's wife) - Sarah Harden - Housewife [37]
Cousin - Ella [18]
Cousin - Casey [18]
Cousin - Alex [10]
History: Robert Victorino was the first cousin of William D'Agustino. Being the same age and growing up only a few blocks from one another, the boys were very close...like brothers. However, as they got older, Robert and William went in different directions. While William went to college then medical school, Robert had fun. He dropped out of college his freshman year and took odd jobs while he mostly partied and squandered his money. By the time he was 30, he wasn't much better. It was around that time he met Janet, a young 19 year old who was a lot of fun and full of life. Only he got her pregnant and the young girl wasn't ready for that. Shortly after giving birth to Delia, Janet took off in the middle of the night, leaving no way for Robert to contact her.
Robert didn't know what to do. He wanted to care for his daughter but didn't have enough money. He moved down to San Diego where it was a bit cheaper to live and took up with odd jobs once more. But he wasn't cutting it. That's when he met Luke, one of his old buddies from his younger 20s. Luke was part of a gambling ring and before Robert knew it, he was working as a bookie.
But 14 years later, Robert had a teenage daughter and was doing well for himself, even with his illegal income. Only Luke got caught and made a deal with the police to blow the whistle on the whole thing to save his own hide. Robert soon found himself in jail and soon after with a sentence in prison. With no money for bail, Delia stayed with different friends during the trial, but once Robert was sentenced, he knew he needed to set a permanent guardian for Delia. Still no idea where Janet was as he'd never heard from her again, Robert turned to William, asking him to take Delia in. Delia has been living with the D'Augustino's since early July.

Sample: Delia pressed her lips together as she entered the school building. Sure, she’d had the summer to adjust to living in LA but she’d spent the majority of it with her cousins Ella and Casey…who had already graduated last year. Now here she was on her own in a new school. She wore her long dark hair down and dressed casually in a short denim skirt paired with a dark blue top with a ruffle detail and simple nude colored ballet flats. Her dark eyes danced about as she looked around wildly, trying to take it all in. Delia didn’t like being the new kid.
She promptly located her locker. Okay, step one complete, that was easy. She didn’t have much to put in there yet, but she placed two of the three notebooks she’d brought with her on the top shelf. She almost envied the freshmen. Sure, they were new too but it was much easier starting new with everyone else. She was a junior and all of the juniors already had their friends. So, what would that mean for her?
She pushed some of her hair behind her ear as she shut her locker and turned to face the rest of the hallway. While her expression was one of someone who was indeed slightly lost, luckily she still appeared calm and not really terrified which was what she really felt inside. Her heart pounded as she stepped forward, one foot in front of the other carrying her down the hall to where she suspected her first class to be. It was on this journey that someone bumped into her. Delia’s body spun around as her eyes lay upon the culprit. “Excuse you,” she said her tone haughty and kind of snobbish, almost sounding foreign to her since she normally didn’t come off in this manner.
