Girl Time Tag Izzy

[Catalina Corinthos]

Catalina walked into the cafateria and looked around. She had made plans to eat with Izzy today, they needed a good girls only lunch. After getting her food which was a nice big burger and onion rings and a coke she paid and stepped out of line. She spotted Izzy by the doors of the cafateria and walked up to her. "Hey Iz" she said with a smile. "Want to eat outside at those tables?" she asked. She was so gald to have a best friend like Izzy, they have there for each other through it all. And she knew Izzy was always someone she can count on. She had her bridal magazines in her messanger bag, and she wanted Izzy's opinions on some dresses, for her and the bridal party. As they headed outside she glanced over at ehr friend.

"How you doing?" she asked her. She knew from experince when losing a parent or parents you just don't get over it, it takes a long time to heal. Years later Cat still cries at times and misses them. In fact she wanted to do something special for them at her wedding. Some way to honor them, that deserved that because she loved them. She knew Izzy would get that she understood all she was feeling. It was another bond between the girls that just can not be borken.

Sitting down she took a sip of her drink and took a bite out of onion ring.

Izzy smiled as she looked up and saw Cat. "Sure. it is a nice day." Izzy commented. She gathered her things, once again working on the school paper as always. She followed Cat outside. She was doing much better. She had a good Summer and her and Taki of course had some interesting times. Right now all Izzy was dealing with was what had happened to her brother and it was not getting any easier. Damn drunk drivers.

"I am doing fine. Jett is depressed, but he is always depressed since the car accident. His legs are still not working and the doctor says give it time, but you know Jett, he hates waiting." Izzy said. "So dealing with him. I hate leaving him alone when I have school, but..." Izzy shrugged. "So hows the wedding planning coming along?" She asked Cat. Izzy was very happy and excited for her friend. it was about time the girl was happy.

Izzy felt really closetoCat now. Bonding over losing parents. Izzy still missed her mom a lot, but she knew her mother was in a bettre palce and although her mom and her had not had the best relationship, she had still be super close to her mother.

"Me and Colby will have to stop over and see him and cheer him up a bit" Catalina said to her. She reached over and put a hand on Izzy's arm for support. "I am sure that he will get better, it does take time to heal. Look how long it took Colby to heal from the one time Quenten attacked him" she said to her best friend. She was glad that everything with Quenten was in the past, at times she had bad moments like if a bad memory suddenly flashes up, but all in all they were all happy. "Colby is the perfect person to talk to him" she smiled. "He can talk about how long it took him to heal and it could give Jett someone to talk to" she said to her. "If you thinkt hat would help him" she smiled at Izzy and ate some of her burger. She wanted to know what was best to do to help, and she wanted to help Izzy and Jett to both since she has known them both for so long.

"Wedding planning is coming along quick. Now that we nothing is going to stop it, it is full steam ahead" Cat said with a happy laugh. "And we have the same taste and generally agree so we are not arguing. Which I figure what a better start to a marriage then not arguging" she grinned. "Just think by the end of the year I am going to be a old married woman" she said teasingly. "I might be using a walker and all grey haired" she laughed still joking. "But I was thinking since Mal isn't going to be in it, I made friends with the girl that graduated last year Rosalie Naples and I am thinking of asking her. It would be you as the maid of honor, her, and Colby's sister as brides maids and he is having Greg as the best man of course, and DJ has his grooms men along with his brother" she explained. "And each of your girls is going to have a different dress in the colors of light blue and yellow, something beachy" she said. "The guys are having the same colors also" she grinned. "We will have to all go dress shopping soon" she said to Izzy and then took a sip of drink. "Maybe next weekend?" she asked. "We all still need to get dresses."

She took out the bridal magazines out of her bag. She opened the first one to a page she marked "I am thinking this style. I like the idea of it long with a small train in the sand, nothing big, and not really a lot of embelishments since that is not me. What do you think?"

Izzy nodded. "That would be great. He could use visitors. Eden is not around much, well not around Jett much and Ben comes over when he can. But Jett could use more interaction. He had been depressed and there is only so much I can do, so it would be appreciated." Izzy told Cat. She was actually looking forward to it really. Jett might not be the best company, but the more people who visited him the better. "Just tell Colby to forgive Jett for being ass cause he feels hopeless, and he wants to walk so badly."

Izzy smiled and laughed along with Cat. "Sounds exciting. I cant wait to go dress shopping. " Izzy said exciting, "DJ is going to be in the wedding, He was a football player laste ryear right? Jett knew of him. Isn't he dating someone still in our school?" Izzy tended to know couples cause the holidays, the papers did tributes. But she was better with faces then names, "And Greg, I know him, thats nice." She said smiling, "I am truly happy for you old woman." Izzy joked.

Izzy looked at the dress, "There is this girl in our school named Fallon Cotton, i bet she could make this dress. She had done some designing for other students and she is reaqlly good. You should talk to her, cause the stiching right there looks tircky, but this is a pretty dress."

"Well then we will come over one day after school then. And after chatting with him a bit we can leave Colby and Jett for some guy time" Catalina said with a giggle. "I can tell he needs some more people there. The more people the more he knows that he will walk again, which I am fully confident he will. He is so determined that how can he not, he is like you, if you are determined to do something you do it" she smiled at ehr best friend. "And I will warn Colby but you know him, he won't let that faze him. If anyone can handle Jett's attitude it is Colby" she said.

"I will let Colby's mom know and my aunt then that next weekend is a for sure" Catalina said. She made a mental note to send a text after school on the way home. "Yeah he was, he was there for us with the Quenten thing in the end. Which can I say thank got that is over and done with and I can move on, and he is dating Trixie, she is nice once you breath through her shell" she smiled. She knew that Trixie rarely let people get to know her. But her and Cat understood each other with their past since they had similar things happen to them. "Greg is no suprise with how close him and Colby are, and yes I am one happy happy old woman" she giggled.

"I wil have to ask Si if she thinks her sister would be okay with doing that. It could be cheaper and just also have my own unique idea on it" she grinned. "I love the way you think" she said to Izzy. "I am not sure for you girls yet though, I am sure with dress shopping that it will just pop our the right ones. I am so clearly not a bridzilla" she said laughing about the show tha tis on tv. "Speaking of weddings, how is things with your wedding date Taki, tell me all about it" she nudged Izzy.
