Kristina got ready for her new school nervously. She got up early so she wouldn't rush and she knew she would need the extra time A few times her handshook as she put on some make up, causing it to smear, she would wipe it off and do it all over again. Stop it Kristina she thought to herself. She was in a new place to move on and heal, and she hated the memories of her past relationship followed her. "Johnathan is not here he has no idea where you are" she said aloud, and began to do her breathing exersizes. She was soon calmed down and could properly get ready for school. Once she was ready she went down to have breakfast with her cousin and her husband. But she knew no matter her bruise on her cheek is noticeable it is not dark dark but it is discolored and so it her eye from the last beating she took. She did not say much, she kept thinking over the day and wondering what it was going to be like.
After breakfast she got in her car and and headed to the school. Getting a parking space since she was there early, she got her bag and got out of the car locking it behind her. She walked into the main office and got her papers and her schedule and a student handbook and papers she and her cousin would need to fill out and bring back at a later date. She walked out into the hallway putting the stuff in her bag and headed for her first class. She didn't have to stop by her locker yet since she did not have any books to store in their, she really hoped she wasn't sharing with a guy, she did not know if she could deal. Guys make her nervous and if her locker partner was male she would have to make sure to go when he is not around.
She had gotten her first few classes down and began seraching for the room When she did not find it she looked around for help. She saw a few guys and a few girls and headed over to the girls. "Hi it is my first day and I am trying to find Calculus. Can you help me find it if you have time?" She was self concious of the fact she had her bruises that were still noticable, she already decided to lie if anyone asked about them, she was going to say they were from a car accident.
