Aly Durrand had been sent away for the summer. Along with Brit. To a small remote town, to some relatives, so they could be kept out of trouble. It was there she re met Chase Andrews. Aly knew Chase Andrews from New York. She, he, Jasper and Riley all had been in the same upper class, socialite circle. All had money and all knew how to spend it. Only problem was Chase and Jasper hated each other. Correction...Chase hated Jasper with a passion and of course at that time Aly and Riley had both more followed Jasper then Chase.
Either way Chase was glad to see Aly alone, and took the opportunity to play on her feelings. Aly left for the summer feeling rejected by Jasper and not wanted, desired and everything else. Aly still had her confidence and self esteem but due to the rejection and the way she had used an innocent guy in her evil plot, she was dejected so to speak. So she was an easy target actually.
At first things seemed great. Aly reconnected with Chase and became friends, which soon turned to dating and having the best romance. Aly followed Chase around, when she was not spending time with Brit. Chase of course hated when Aly would say no to him so she could hang out with Brit, but he didn't do anything about it yet. It seemed to be starting out as a whirlwind romance for the summer.
Thats how it started. But things quickly took a turn. One stormy day, ironically enough, in July, July 4th weekend, Chase hit Aly for the first time. It had taken three weeks before the first hit. Aly of course dumped Chase, but chase begged for another chance. He said all the right things, got her a gift. So Aly took him back. Soon another hit and the same apology and gift. This became the cycle. More hitting, more apologizing, more gifts.
Aly soon found herself in an abusive relationship, only she was not admitting to it. She slowly became a shell of the Aly everyone knew and either loved or hated. She began covering up bruises, and explaining bruises and covering for chase when she went to the hospital. Soon she stopped talking to Riley and never even mentioned Jasper what so ever and stopped being friends with guys in general. Her life revolved around Chase cause if it didn't then she would find her self being hit and she didn't want that.
Aly obeys the rules or else.
