It was late afternoon when Eden's cell went off. Being lazy, she was still wandering around the house in the bikini she'd worn under her wet suit that morning. Her hair now dry was down and a mess of waves, her cheeks pink from the sun.
It was Sloane that called, asking if she wanted to come over and swim for a bit. Ben had been napping and Sloane had said not to wake him, figuring her wouldn't want to hang out with a bunch of girls anyway. Plus, Eden had made plans with Sloane the other day and had ditched out, so she figured headed over there now was probably a good idea.
Not really grabbing more than a towel, flip flops, a wallet and a pair of sunglasses, Eden got into her car and drove over to the other girls house. With her vintage aviators covering her eyes the blonde walked up to Sloane's front door clad in flip flops, a white bikini, and a beach towel over her shoulder.
She rang the bell and smiled when the redhead appeared at the door. "I was surfing earlier," Eden explained, "so I didn't see any point in putting clothes on before swimming," she said with a shrug as she entered the Taylor house. "So what have you been up to?" she asked.

Having already hung out with Ben a few days before, Sloane decided it was time to get reacquainted with the other Patridge twin. Going to Prom alone had been eventful to say the least. At least she went home with someone who didn't frown when they looked at her. Unlike that sophomore boy she just doesn't want to talk or think about tonight. Yeah right. She scoffed to herself. So she called Eden asking her to come around the house. Then she proceeded to rummage through the pantry for some chips. It took about twenty or so minutes after for the doorbell to ring, announcing Eden's arrival. The house was empty as per usual with her aunt and uncle having flown to New Zealand for a three week long photoshoot for a film and her parents both out trying to relive their glory days as couple of the year and her brothers were obviously out partying. It was just what they did. Tossing the bag of chips on to the dining table, Sloane went to the door, licking her fingers clean and when she opened the door to see Eden in her bikini. A slow grin spread across Sloane's face and she stepped aside to let Eden enter. "Yeah...why bother." She smirked as she checked Eden out from the back while she walked in. Sloane closed the door and slung an arm around Eden's shoulder, steering her in the direction of the pool at the back. "Nothing really. Finished my homework, if you would believe that." Sloane chuckled and let Eden go through to the indoor pool that connected the house to Uncle Remy and Aunt Jenna's house. "You want to heat up the pool?" Sloane asked as she switched on the lights and the ceiling fan. [OOC: Not my greatest work but...it'll get better...hopefully >.< OH! The pool!]

"The assigned homework for this weekend?" Eden asked innocently trying to remember if she had any. If she had it had been left unfinished in the events of prom weekend. Eden wasn't the worst of students but she wasn't the best either. If she put more effort in she probably could have gotten straight A's but instead she put next to no effort in and usually settled for a mixture of B's and C's with the occasional A.
"I forgot you had an indoor pool," Eden commented as they reached it. A pool was one thing that the Patridge house lacked although it had never been a big deal as it presided right on the beach. Plus, they knew enough people that did have pools so it had never really been a huge thing. In fact their dad's house up in Malibu had a pool.
"So did you have fun at prom last night?" Eden asked making conversation as she kicked off her flip flops and tossed her towel on one of the chairs. She had seen Sloane once or twice over the course of the night but hadn't been able to tell who her date was and had been too busy with Jett to really bother going up to her or really anyone for that matter, except for Izzy and Taki of course.
"Heating it would be nice," she commented about the pool as she walked to the side and dipped her foot in to test it. "Although it's not too bad right now," she admitted, "at least not compared to the water this morning," she told Sloane before she dove right in. Eden could probably withstand colder water than most people just due to surfing.
Coming up to the surface her wet blonde head bobbed up and down out of the water. She hadn't really thought about the fact that her bikini was white and that she'd never really worn it directly in the water before...just under her wetsuit. So what Eden didn't know was that while her suit wasn't completely transparent it probably could have used a few extra layers of lining because once she got out of the water, all the important stuff was going to show. However, for now, all this was safely hidden under the water in the deep end were Eden swan toward the edge of the pool where Sloane still stood.
"You gonna come in or wait for more heat?" she asked. "It's really not so bad."

"Five page essay on the decline of the Tsar Empire. Fascinating stuff." She gave a small chuckle. "Ironically, I don't even take History. Mr. Wexelbaum just likes to torture us." Sloane shrugged as she grabbed two towels and laid both on two reclining chairs. She chuckled once more when Eden commented on the pool. Searching for the remote, she finally found it and pressed a button to open the skylight.
"We don't really use it. I like using the one outside my aunt and uncle's place," she shrugged. "We use this one for guests and parties. And as you are a guest and this is a party, albeit a tiny one, it's appropriate."
She walked to the other side of the vast room to the minibar and grabbed a bottle of tequila and two shot glasses before returning to Eden who asked her about prom. "It was okay. I sincerely doubt I'll do it again next year though." Seeing Nolan with that other girl making out right in front of her was enough to make her dead certain she wouldn't want to return to that humiliation.
He was probably satisfied that she'd gone off with another boy instead of lingering around. Sloane felt like slapping herself silly. She really should stop thinking about that blond boy. He probably wasn't thinking about her anymore. She may have had illusions that she was completely unforgettable but seeing Nolan with that girl was a clear indication that he obviously didn't think so.
Moving on...
The redheaded junior went to the small almost unnoticeable box over at the wall that held the switch to heat up the pool and pressed two of five buttons before slipping out of her top and short, revealing a black one piece that showed off her curves well. When Eden came out of the water, Sloane couldn't help but bite her lower lip. Eden was obviously an attractive girl and it was a lethal combination to put such an attractive girl in a clearly lit pool in a white bathing suit.
Without replying, Sloane went to the diving board and made a clean jump into the pool, swimming to Eden and appearing right in front of her with a grin. "You're right...it really isn't so bad." She stayed in that position for awhile, their weightless bodies practically touching before Sloane moved away, lazily doing backstrokes across the pool. "I'm glad Ben isn't here to be honest."

Eden stayed in the pool, treading water as Sloane readied everything. She couldn't help but smirk when the other girl grabbed the shots. "I like the way you think," she grinned as she swam over to the latter and climbed out of the pool to go get one of them. There wasn't really any mirrors so she was oblivious to any transparency her bikini provided. She took her shot, the alcohol burning down her throat but it wasn't as if she hadn't done shots before. "Man, straight tequila...this what you always drink?" she asked letting out a cough. "Maybe next we could just make margarita's," she suggested. When Sloane mentioned her distaste about prom, Eden didn't really have much to say about it. She and Jett had had a great time together and had actually managed not to fight for the most part. But Eden still couldn't help but think that there was more fighting to come with him going off to college and all that. He just didn't get it...and Eden was too proud to admit what all her issues with it were.
Sloane went for the diving board and Eden slid back into the water as well, dunking her head under once more for a moment. Coming up, Sloane swam over to her, appearing right in front of her. "See, I told you," Eden grinned back, already slightly feeling the shot. Eden was by no means a lightweight with her alcohol. She drank enough to be able to hold it, however she normally didn't drink anything straight so she could feel that it was going to effect her if she continued to take shots.
"Really?" she asked when Sloane said that she was glad that Ben wasn't around. Eden had always thought that Ben and Sloane had gotten off better than she and Sloane had but that had been when they were children. Perhaps things were different now. "What, was he super boring the other night or something?" she asked with a laugh, completely oblivious to what had happened while she was away. "Sorry I ditched by the way...Izzy needed me last minute for something," she said.

Sloane gave a nonchalant shrug when Eden complimented on her ways. "I make do." She simply said, pouring the tequila into one shot glass before handing it to her. Her eyes went straight down to Eden's bikini clad bust just for a second before looking back up. They were transparent and if Eden didn't catch that, Sloane was not going to inform her of it.
When Eden started coughing, Sloane bit back her laughter lest she sounded condescending, which wasn't how she wanted Eden to think of her as. The girl did weed and Sloane wouldn't touch that stuff with a ten foot pole so if the roles were reversed, she wouldn't want Eden to laugh at her either. So she sauntered over to the bar, bringing Eden along. Looking for the small fridge that held sodas and mineral water, she found it nestled in between two rows of champagne under the bar. She grabbed a bottle of water and placed it on the counter.
Once Eden was okay, she went in the water again. "Boring?" Sloane chuckled. She wouldn't call what she did with Ben boring. "No...he was rather generously entertaining." She thought that was the best answer to reply with. "Ah it's no big deal. At least I get to see you here now. " She shrugged. "Izzy...she's the one with that jock as a brother right? Tall, big, kinda bald..." Wow she was a fountain of descriptive information.
"You're going out with him, aren't you?" Sloane asked, inching away casually. She treaded the water before lying fully on her back to float. "Good looking guy that one. I'm still surprised you're going out with him."
[OOC: I'm still very sorry but I hope this makes up for it. I also remembered Eden was supposed to be fighting with Jett once before they actually hook up again? So why not wait for that?]
