Lana had driven herself into school this morning. Blake had been a real pissy pain in the ass for the last couple of days, and she honestly, did not want to deal with him. The young blond was class in a short pink dress, her hair loose, and comfortable as she headed up the steps into the building and toward her locker. She knew Kenzie would find her before long, especially after she'd texted him saying she was taking herself into school. A quick toss of books into the locker, a growl of her stomach to remind her that she'd left without breakfast, and Lana was heading toward the cafeteria.
She grabbed a toasted bagel with cream cheese and some fruit before grabbing a table. Being out of the house relaxed her, and she just hoped this weekend went off without any problems, but between her hostile brother, overbearing parents, good luck on that one.

Blake walked into the cafeteria with his lunch bag, he had prepared it himself mainly to get out of his schools food or his mothers cooking and an excuse she would use to talk about him and how he was feeling. If you could catogorize his mood over the last week it was foul, actually scratch that he was ready to do some damage to someone or die trying.
Blake stormed over to his sisters table she was alone for the time being which pleased him. It meant that the prat she was dating wasn't aorund obviously dealing with what someone had done to his locker and what was in his locker at the time it had been done Blake's smirk as he sat down and put his food bag on the table said he was either up to no good or had been up to no good some time earlier.
"We need to talk." Blake said as he fished out a sandwich and began opening it while he continued to look at his sister. It didn't matter how much he disliked the boy she was dating, he would dislike any and every guy she dated and the family knew that. Unless the girl pissed him of he would show her the respect that she deserved.

Her quite and peaceful breakfast was almost immediately interrupted by the one person she wanted to avoid. She groaned. "Seriously?" She said out loud, putting her stuff back into her bag and getting ready to leave. "What the hell do you want to talk abotu Blake?" She asked, slumping back in her chair.
She looked around, scanning the caf to see if Kenzie wouldn't show up and give her an excuse to leave her brother. "I have nothing to say to you right now..so make it fast." Lana sat back, folding her arms under her chest and giving a glare to her twin. "But if you're gonna go off about Kenzie again this morning, I'm not even going to bother to listen. I'm seeing him, I like him, deal with it, got it?"

Jeffrey had no real reason to be at the school. School would end withing a few weeks and Jeffrey managed to squeeze the last couple weeks in at his old school. He was technically free of school for the summer. This morning he decided to get a jump on things for next rear and registered for school. He got permission to eat at the cafeteria and roam around to get a feel for the school.
Holding his tray, he walked towards a blond sitting by herself. Halfway to the table, a young man sat next to her and they began to argue. Jeffrey quickly walked past them and sat at the table a little further down and began to eat.
So far, his move here had been very interesting. School was going to be wild this year.

Blake looked at her, "Baring in mind that if you actually convinced me that this dickwad your dating was worthy of your time, I would be able to help you turn the old man's mind around. You'd expect a bit more I don't know pleasantness from your sister." he said to her knowing full well that it would be a cold day in hell before he did any of the talking to his old man about that boy. He could but he wouldn't unless said sister started being forthright about everything rather than sneaking around behind people's backs.
"You know the old general is never going to accept him, is he really worth what it will cost you to have a relationship with him should the old man put his foot down?" he asked her with a shake of the head. "Your choice at the end of the day, but we both know that you like the comforts of home just as much as I do... and just like me you don't particularly like the rules of the old general when he wants to be an ass. Which is pretty much all of the time." he said to her.
"See you can blame me for the enviroment that we live in at home, because I could be nicer to the old man. But you had better believe that the problems that this family have begin with and end with the old man and the old lady just sitting there like a good housewife should and watches him do it." Blake sneered.

Lana looked at her borhter, shaking her head. "Blake..what I do, and with whom, is really none of your business." She tried to keep her voice gentle. No sense in riling her twin up more then he already was. "But for your information, Kenzie IS worth my time, I wouldn't be with him if he wasn't." Lana had not dated a lot of guys, most of them just did not interst her, but obviously, her boyfriend did. "You really need to mind your own business in this."
she sighed, trying not to roll her eyes as he prattled on about their father's iron fist ruling. "Personally...I don't care if Dad likes him or not, I'm not going to stop seeing Kenz." Lana put her foot down..figurativly anyway. "I don't see why he'd try to take this away from me..I have perfect grades, I've busted my ass all year..I don't get into any trouble....so what if his family is a bit different then ours?" She asked, irritation washing over her.
"No, a lot of our problems at home..are your fault..and the sooner you see that..the better we are all going to be...you..and your anger and hostility issues..they add so much more stress..which doesn't help anything at home." Lana snapped. "God I can't wait to get out of here for the summer."

Blake stared at her for a moment before chuckling, "I guess that talking sense to you is going to do no good, well if you want this guy good luck with it. When this bites you in the ass though just remember you were warned well in advance as to the fact that it was going to happen." Blake added as he stood up he looked at the kid who had gone past them and smiled. "When you remember that your family is more important than some fad boy your seeing be sure to let the rest of us know." Blake sneered.
"Remember Lana, what happens next is entirely your own fault." Blake said to her he walked away from the table but stopped at the boy in question and sneered. "If you want to know how to destroy a family take pointers from that girl, but be careful not to get to close to her, or for that matter turn your back on her your end up with a knife in your back. I'm her twin brother and I'm not immune to her poison so you won't be." he said before stalking away from said boy and out of the hall he did not look back at his sister.
tag to rap.

Jeffrey listened to what the boy had to say and realized he had walked by a family feud. He watched as this young man walked away, not turning around. He looked at the girl that sat several spaces down. He could only wonder exactly what the problem was between them and blew it off. What ever problems they had, it was between them.
Looking at the girl, Jeffrey says, "If it's of any comfort, I could care less what your . . . . . brother said. I make my own opinions." He gave her a brief smile and went back to eating.

Lana just..stared at her brother. She was in complete and utter shock at his attitude toward her. She watched him get up, speechless for a moment. She glanced over at the other boy for a moment as Blake decided to publically humiliate her. She stood from her chair, grabbed the bowl of fruit that she had been eating and threw it at her brother, nailing him right in the back of the head and neck.
She walked over toward him. "Blake Patterson!" She reached back and slapped him hard across the face. "You want to talk about ruining a family...LOOK IN THE GODDAMNED MIRROR!!" She yelled, aware that others were now looking. "You..and your fucking anger issues...you knwo thes ones that you're in THERAPY for...YOU are the problem...not me...not me at all...YOU need to get over your shit and fucking deal with it." She grabbed her bag heatedly, giving the other boy at the nearby table a glance.
She shoved past Blake hard. "You need to get over your jealousy issues...I'm HAPPY with Kenzie..he treats me a HELL Of a lot better then you do...he's a real man..you..are nothing but a pathetic, fucked up loser who can't deal with his own life." Lana had very clear tears in her eyes by this point, she NEVER swore.
"You can go to hell Blake..I hope you enjoy it...sometimes i wish it were you and not Cameron." She stormed out of the cafeteria, leaving a stunned group in her wake.

Jeffrey was a little shocked at what he just witnessed. I actually reminded him of a situation that he and his sister went through, although, it wasn't so dramatic. Jeffrey hoped she would be okay. Even though he had no clue who they were, he always felt bad when such things happened to women. He couldn't help it, it was how his mother taught him. After watching the argument, Jeffrey went back to eating. He wanted to spend some of his time looking around at the classes and the rest of the school. Jeffrey was learning that there was more to this school then he was initially told. It was going to be exciting.
