Theo sat in the lunch hall munching his way through the sandwiches he had brought for his breakfast, it was certainly a saver option than the school food even if he would eat it. This was his only option, hopefully next year the school would cater for more specific dietary needs. Vegetarian foods here still included dairy products and that just wasn't something that interested him.
He'd picked up a soda at the counter before taking a seat, his sax case sat against his knee. He had to practice at some point today and it would be better if he could do it at lunch for a little while he'd catch up on what he had let slip in preparation for his date tomorrow night at the prom. He had plans to slip away before graduation for the seniors. He had plans to spend the summer somewhere over than LA, he didn't know where yet but he was thinking europe, or maybe he would go visit his brother and his family.
Summer seemed like such a long way away a month ago now it was just around the corner and now he was looking forward to it. His parents were driving him around the bend, he had taken to leaving the room when ever they brought up the subject of prom and who he was taking all he could really say was that he wanted to have a good time and that was it. They had made him promise that he would allow them to take photos before he left.
So engrossed was he in his own thoughts that he wasn't paying attention to those around him stretching out his arms he knocked his hand in to someone's breakfast tray with a clang and a bang sending it to the floor. He turned his head sheepishly blushing at the gaff as he looked at said person apologetically.
"S....orry" he said cursing silently as he struggled with the word he let out a frustrated sigh. "Sorry about that please let me pay for a replacement." he said getting his speech back under control.
