"Am I heartless and cruel or is it cunning and smart." She said jokingly as she laughed. The night was looking up. Even the monkey piss set her off in a fit of laughter. Soon the crowd joined in once they realized what had happened. "So Kuso...I take it to mean that's a bad word in your language?" She asked very curious. Fallon took some more popcorn and continued to watch the show.
"I am a best friend. You know how to make a girl feel better." She said with a bright smile. "I am sure there are ways to make a night better. I mean there is always some adventure to be had. Especially before prom and then graduation for the seniors. They must be chomping at the bit to get out." She would be.
"I can probably have the waist coat finished in a few weeks, i just need your measurements again. And you might have to come for a fitting in about a week so I know I am getting it right." it took a lot to make clothes but Fallon was determined to do what she could. "Any other specific plans tonight or are we going to wing it?"

“Ah yes, kuso. A word of many meanings. A lot of our words have more than just the one meaning and depends on the dialect, region and how it is used within a sentence. But in my language we don’t have many bad words. Kuso is the worst. It can mean anything from aaah... damn to shit but also fuck. Anything where you want to just curse,” he tried to explain. Takumi grinned slightly. “I use it way too much! Okaasan would be mad at me if she knew!” Understatement as his mother would have a serious fit if she overheard her son.
“But yes, I count you as one of my very best friends, Fallon-chan!” he assured her. “I would love you to make me the waistcoat!” It would be awesome as he adored the jacket she’d already made. To call her talented would be an injustice. He nodded to the fitting suggestion.
“I have no real plans,” he said to her final question. “But... wing it? You wish to go and see the birds in the park and feed them?” Maybe that was what she’d meant. If so they could easily stop and buy some bread on their way to the park! “Unless... do they like kettle corn?”

"I don't know what I am more shocked about. The fact you curse in Janpanese or the fact you just said the s and f word in one sentence. Words I never thought you would say. I think you should stick to Kuso if you do curse." Fallon said cracking up laughing. Taki cursing that was funny. "Do I have to tell Izzy her boyfriend speaks bad words." She joked. "How are things with Izzy?" She asked. "Not sure I asked. I know you both have been dating. I think you are like the longest relationship I know of."
Fallon was always laughing in Taki's presence. "You really are cute you know that." She told him and left it at that. "Wing it is a term that means you just kind of come up with idea after idea until both parties involved agree on one." Fallon explained. "However, feeding the birds does sound good. But let's keep the kettle corn for us. I don't want to share." She said smiling.
"Come on." She told him. "We can buy some bird seedfrom the vendor on the corner." She motioned for him to follow as they began to walk up the board walk toward the bird seed vendor.

Feeding the birds.... How cool was that? He nodded and laughed when Izzy came up with the suggestion and the more he thought about it the greater it appealed.
He trailed in Fallon's wake as they wandered down the boardwalk...
* * *
Ten minutes later the pair could be found in the main park area, a bag of seed apiece and their parcels of cloth in bags at their feet. Takumi laughed like a five year old as he scattered seed for the local seagulls who had caught the scent of a meal. "Sugoi! Look at them go!" he cried out and he lifted his arms out straight from his sides, mimicking their swooping action. A few pigeons had joined the feast and he threw a special handful of seed towards the newly arrived quartet.
Fallon and Takumi dropped down to sit and watch the birds eat, sharing the rest of the kettle corn between them.
He shot his firned a sideways glance. "Would you really tell Izzy was 'kuso' means?" he asked. She might be cross to know he swore... not that he'd ever do it in English. That wouldn't seem at all right. "Izzy and me are good together," he went on, finally finding the time to reply to her question posed a while back. "I'm not sure my clothes for the prom are right though. Do you think she would like pink? I mean on me..."
