Celest gathered her books for her first class and headed down the hall. Dressed in a knee length skirt and ruffled blouse, she was actually wearing her hair down today, instead of pulled back in a tight knot like she usually wore it. She usually liked to get to class early although it didn't always work out for her, mostly because she'd usually run into a sibling, or Jack--her one friend that wasn't related to her, and end up getting all distracted. She was never late though. Sometimes she'd have to make a run for it at the bell but she always made it. Celest was responsible like that. Too responsible sometimes...to the point of being boring, but that was just the way she was. She had enough drama in her life without making things more complicated for herself.
Today on her way to class, it was Brandon she encountered by his locker. Now, Celest and Brandon didn't exactly see eye to eye on things. Brandon was always goofing off...always getting in trouble and Celest was always trying to stop him. It really was frustrating sometimes...but he was her brother so the way she saw it, it was her job to look out for him.
So, despite the fact that she was sure this would ruin her being early like she wanted, she had to stop over and check on him. "Hello, Brandon," she said, walking up to him. "You are planning on going to class...right?" she asked, sort of giving him her version of an evil eye, which really wasn't all that intimidating.

Brandon was standing around his locker just being Brandon, which meant he was procrastinating badly. He was counting down the minutes until the bell rang so he could conveniently dash into the bathroom and claim thats his reason for being late to class. Teachers never questioned a guy who claimed to have eaten bad food that gave him the runs. It's a good thing Brandon did not embarrass easily. He was on TV, he was embarrassed plenty like that.
Brandon smiled when Celeste his favorite sister showed up. Okay so they were all his favorites, but still. Celeste just had this way about her and sometimes Brandon could not help but pick on her. "Only if you show up late fro class." He smirked, "come on, the early bird does not always get the worm." He smiled as he closed his locker and swung his book bag over his shoulder.
"Besides how can i go to class if I don't know where the classroom is. This school is so confusing." He laughed knowing full well he had been there for almost a year so that was one bullshit excuse he was giving her. Of course he knew his sister could see right through it, but it didn't stop him from laughing. "But seriously, why are you heading to class so early? You still have time. Or is it later then I think."

Celest had the bad habit of taking Brandon too seriously. She really should have been able to figure out when he was joking and when he was not...but Celest could be so serious sometimes that even the most obvious of teasing would go over her head. "Brandon," he said. "You know I'm not going to class late! Plus, I like being early...then I can be all settled by the time class actually starts. I hate running and getting there last minute. I just get frazzled and have a harder time paying attention..." she trailed off.
She gave Brandon a look when he said that he didn't know where his class is. Now, even she could tell that he was just giving her a hard time this time. "Yes you do. It's not like we had to switch over to Silver," she told him. "Then you could claim to be a little lost, but even so I believe all the Silver kids have learned their way around here," she told him, still being very serious about it all.
She let out a small sigh. "No, we do still have time, but perhaps I should have lied and told you it was later," she said, although Celest was a terrible liar...everyone knew that. "Anyway, did you hear about how some freshmen messed up the girls' locker room yesterday during cheerleading practice? Made it seem haunted or something. They caught the girls who did it...trust me, I was very relieved to hear that you weren't behind it," Celest told him. "When I first heard about it, I swore it would be you that did it," she admitted since her brother was always pulling things like that.

"No offense Celeste but you could not lie your way out of a corner." He said to her. He smiled and pulled her into a hug, "But I love you anyway." He smiled at her, "Damn you have a point, I can't use that excuse can I. I need to think of another one." He smirked as he settled in step beside her. "You wound me Celeste, with that statement of course I was behind it. Or at least I wish I had been. Any chance to see the girls locker room sounds good to me." He smirked nudging her shoulder.
"I would like to know who pulled this off, any idea whose those girls names are so I can introduce myself. I promise I would do anything to drastic, I just want to give my congrats to a pair of pranksters. I am actually trying to stay out of trouble before summer vacation. can't be grounded for the beginning of summer." Brandon said laughing.
"What about you? You know you can only get grounded if you get caught and I happen to be good at not getting caught. " Brandon said giving Celeste a look. Once again he was joking just curious if she would go along with it but knowing Celeste she was all about school. Which was so funny. How were they related? They were the two opposites in the set of quintuplets. Which sometimes made it funny to watch when they interacted.

Celest couldn't help but smile when Brandon called her out on her bad lies. She was a terrible liar...she'd never seemed to gain that skill, probably given that she had always been so concerned with doing the right thing. Brandon pulled her into a hug and she hugged him back. Sure she got on Brandon's case a lot, but it was only cause she cared about him. If she didn't, she'd let him skip school, pull pranks, and get caught and get in trouble all of the time instead of trying to stop him. She gave him a look when he said he did to it, happy the moment when he admitted he did it. She was relieved since she obviously wouldn't put it passed him to be involved in such a thing.
"Yeah," Celest said when he asked who did it. "I heard Shelby Grant going on and on about it this morning to anyone who would listen," she said. Celest tried to give most people the benefit of the doubt but it was hard doing that with Shelby since she was so mean to everyone all the time. "She said that it was Roxy Rivera and then this Silver Freshman, Sawyer--I don't know her last name but she's that red head that's like super friendly, I think," she told her brother. "I wasn't talking to her but I could hear it all...I think she wanted everyone to hear it...saying she was going to get them back," she said rolling her eyes. "So immature," Celest said with a sigh. She was referring to the entire situation.
She smiled when her brother said that he was trying to say out of trouble. "I'm very glad to hear it," Celest said. "So what do you have planned for summer then? I think mom is talking about sticking me in camp since I'm not as social as the rest of you," Celest said with a sigh. It wasn't her fault that she preferred to spend time on her own rather than out and about with all of her classmates who seemed to only be interested in getting into trouble anyway.
Celest gave him a look. "I'm not going to get grounded," she said. "I'm not following you this time," she told her brother, although they both knew that wasn't true. Oh it had happened so many times where Celest had gotten in trouble along with the rest of them, just because she'd followed in order to try and stop them and just gotten dragged down.

"Shelby grant...vowing revenge. Never thought I would see the day. i might just have to talk to her. You know see if she needs ideas or maybe help talk her out of it, by telling her how much trouble she could get into for pranks." Of course the look on Brandon's face said the opposite. Hell if Shelby needed help then he was the man to do it. She was cute, a cheerleader and well really cute. Brandon also harbored a crush on her.
"Roxy and Sawyer. I think i have seen Roxy around, but don't know the Sawyer girl. I hope they know what they are getting into. Cheerleaders are known for vengeance. Remember the junior cheerleader that is rumored to have gotten back at her sister or something for the animals." That had been the talk for a few weeks. The animals, car on the roof. Brandon of course would know. He kept an ear out for any and all pranks.
"The summer. I can barely think past next week, but I think mom and dad we saying about sending me to either some camp or to the grandparents for the summer. I have a feeling they had a divide and conquer thing going. I think they think if the separate the kids then the pranks will stop." Brandon shrugged. "I think they are dreaming."

Celest heard his brother's word, but of course his expression and the excitement in his voice painted a completely different story. She of course didn't know about her brother's crush on Shelby. Had she known, she would have kept her mouth shut as she could already see the wheels in her brother's head turning and regretted saying anything about the prank at all. "I don't know why I talk to you at all sometimes," she said. "Clearly anything I say is going to be twisted into some new idea for you to get yourself in trouble," she said shaking her head. "You really should just stay out of it all," she warned him.
"Yeah, I do remember hearing about that," Celest said simply when Brandon mentioned the pranks that had been pulled a few months ago. Celest was also always listening out for whispering students talking about different pranks that had been pulled. However, she listened for a completely different reason. She listened to make sure her brother wasn't involved. As soon as she heard about something she'd try to find out who was behind it, make sure Brandon wasn't about to get in more trouble than he usually did.
"Yeah, divide and conquer...that's what I think they might be doing too," she said. Maybe for Brandon and the others it was to keep them from getting in too much trouble but for Celest it was to force her to be more social outside of her siblings. "Although I think if they just separated you, the rest of us would be safe from trouble," she teased him. She smirked, it was obvious to anyone that Brandon was sort of the ring leader of the younger Zouvelekis siblings.

"You talk to me because I am your favorite sibling and talking to me is never boring. Besides you would miss me too much.I have never been good at the silent treatment." Brandon said laughing. "As for staying out of it...can't promise that, but I will try." Even those words were not believeable. "Come on you have to admit its kind of funny." He laughed and then saw the look Celest was giving him. "Tough crowd." He joked.
"Yeah but if they separated me, then what kind of fun would we all have." Brandon said. He knew sh was teasing, but he kind of thought she was a little right. His parents probably had thought it would be easier to separate him from the rest cause Brandon had a tendency to get the other kids on his side and when that happened they all tended to get into trouble...a lot.
He shurgged, "Look summer campecan't be that bad. Maybe there is a way out of it. Assuming thats what you want. I am sure me, Dena and Trention can think of something. Someway to make sure you stay put." He suggested. "We are a group, you can't break up the group." Brandon said. Even if their parents had probably already made the decison. It still sucked to have to be separated even if it was fro a day, a week or a month.

Celest smiled when Brandon said that he was her favorite sibling. She didn't exactly have a favorite, but mostly because all of them were so great. After all, they always helped include her in things which was more than she every asked for and if it wasn't for them, she'd probably end up spending even more time alone than already did. "Yes, well, you don't have to do anything to get me out of it," Celest said. "Last thing we need if you getting into more trouble," she said, that and knowing Brandon, him interfering would just push their parents to want to send them to different camps even more. One would think with some many kids it would be easier to send them all to the same one, but alas no, divide and conquer it was.
"Oh yes, it would be less fun with you around, but come on, you know we'd all stay out of trouble more," Celest said, and staying out of trouble was what she did want, but not really at the expense of her brother. As much as she tried to be all serious and tried to be the mature one, she never very much that she'd rather have her brother around and risk trouble than not have him around at all.
"I don't know. You know me, I'd rather just stay home, but I think that's what mom and dad are trying to prevent. You know them...they are always complaining that I don't get out as much as the rest of you. I don't know what's so wrong with preferring to stay home ad read...but I don't know," she said. "We'll just have to see what happens. I don't want and schemes in order to get me out of it. Plus, if all of you get sent away to camp, I won't have anyone to talk to anyway," she pointed out.
Glancing down at her watch, Celest then looked back at her brother. "The bell is going to ring. Come on, we need to go to class...you need to go," she said, getting back to business.
