Roxy's eyes darted around wildly as she ran across the hall carrying some red paint she'd stolen from the art room. School was finished for the day and while there were still some students lingering about, most had already gone home for the day.
But there was a cheerleading practice in full swing at the moment and Roxy and Sawyer were going to haunt the locker room! While Thad and Ezzie were still Roxy's bestest friends, she and Sawyer had gotten pretty close too. The Silver freshman was awesome and Roxy was excited that they'd be officially in the same school come next year. It would be even more fun.
Her eyes lit up as she saw the redhead standing outside the locker room. Roxy rushed over to join her. "I got us paint," she boasted. "I thought we could write on things and make it all drippy and look like blood," she giggled, excited to see what sort of ideas Sawyer had for the haunting.

With a plan in hand, Sawyer snuck into the gym and watched as the coach yelled into the megaphone, calling the boys girls and telling them his grandmother's knees worked better than them. She was a patient person so she waited until the megaphone was out of the coach's clutches and on the bench and before he knew it, Sawyer was running down the hall with a megaphone in her bag.
She waited until Roxy arrived and when she held up the paint and told Sawyer her idea, Sawyer giggled excitedly, clapping her hand. "And I got us this megaphone!" She whispered loudly, swinging her bag to the front, showing Roxy what she had scored. "I could totally do the spooky voice thing and creaking noises. This is so totally going to be fun!" Sawyer took out the wrench she had brought...okay stolen from shop class and walked into the girls' shower room.
They checked to see if they were really alone before Sawyer threw her bag on the floor and started to loosen all the shower heads. "Why don't you start on the p...ssshhh." Sawyer whirled around and looked to see if what she heard was indeed a person but no one was around. She laughed nervously. "I totally think this place is haunted anyway. Ghosts of cheerleaders past." She then laughed before continuing her work. "Start painting!" She whispered to Roxy.

"A megaphone! Sweet!" Roxy started to exclaim, her voice dropping from a yell to a whisper somewhere in-between her words as she realized she shouldn't be screaming about these things. She giggled. "Such awesomeness," she said still whispering and giggling at the same time. The brunette's hair was pulled back into a ponytail and she was dressed in a fitted white shirt with a large blue heart shaped peace sign on it, a pair of dark wash skinny jeans and sequined chucks. On her wrists was an assortment of bracelets that jingled a bit as she walked. She hoped they didn't give her away.
Once they decided that the coast was clear in the locker room, Sawyer got right to work with a wrench. Roxy didn't know the first thing about tools or anything like that, so she found it rather odd. "What are you..." she began when Sawyer shushed her. Roxy heard whatever it was too...but no one seemed to be there. Probably something in the vents she thought when Sawyer commented that the place might actually be haunted. Roxy just giggled as she didn't believe in ghosts but she was used to playing along for the sake of Thad and his friend Taki.
"What are you doing with the wrench?" she asked as she walked over to a large space of white wall, which would be the first thing the girls would see when they returned to the locker room. She opened up the paint and began writing the words 'Betsey doesn't like cheerleaders.' She didn't know who Betsey was of course, but she thought like it sounded like an old name, thus a good ghost name. "I think we should say that Betsey was a girl so tormented by the cheerleaders that she hung herself in the locker room," Roxy said. "Is that too morbid?" she asked. It sort of was, but it sounded like a good ghost story just the same.

"I know!" Sawyer replied in kind, also having a hard time whispering. It didn't help that Roxy was just as excited as she was about the haunting! Her question brought a wicked grin to the fifteen year old Silver freshman's face. "Once the cheerleaders are too stunned by your wicked handiwork, I hit one of the shower heads with this old thing." She took out from her bag an old wooden slingshot her father had given her when she was younger.
"I mean I'll have a hard thing to throw with it of course. I'm not stupid enough to actually throw the whole thing. The cheerleaders are dumb but they'll know a slingshot can't be a ghosts' tool you know? And besides, this has got sentimental value to me. Did you know that old people actually had fun with these things when they were younger?" As usual, the redheaded female talked too much despite not having time.
The cheerleaders were almost done with their practice and they weren't even halfway close to their finish mark. Roxy's suggestion was so awesome though. "No way is that morbid! I could totally pass off as an angry Betsey! Megaphones are awesome fun for doing voices! I could like say "You have been reeeealllyyyy baaaad cheerleaders...how could you be soooo meeeeean tooo meeeee? You maaaade meee keeeeeeel myseeellllfffff." Sawyer giggled as she loosened the last shower head.
All she had to do was hit one and it will give off a domino effect. The cheerleaders would be so freaked out that they wouldn't even know what happened. And possibly by that time, the soap Sawyer was eyeing for throwing over to the shower head would drop into the drain and nobody would be the wiser. "Just write Betsey doesn't like cheerleaders and then draw a stick figure being hung. Don't forget to make it's tongue stick out! Hurry, hurry! I think I hear someone coming!" Sawyer deposited the wrench in her bag and hurried around to see if they had left anything behind.

Roxy giggled as Sawyer babbled on about the slingshot. She was used to the redhead talking a lot anymore and mostly just found it amusing. But then again, Roxy wasn't exactly one to get annoyed easily. She was pretty easy going when it came down to it. Sure, she tended to freak out at mean people, but they were mean so they deserved it anyway. "Yeah, I think I've seen them in old movies and stuff," Roxy put in. "I've never shot one before...you do it for now since you have the skill, but do you think later I could try it?" she asked. "Could be fun...maybe I could shoot stuff at Thad's window...I bet if he left it open I could even get some stuff inside," she went on thinking about how fun that would be. "But it couldn't be anything to hard, I don't want to break the window because my parents would kill me!" Okay, they wouldn't really kill her, but they'd most definitely ground her and probably get on her more with auditions and stuff so she could get a job and pay the money for the window back. And that was the last thing Roxy wanted. Her parents were always getting on her about auditions and stuff, convinced that Roxy had what it took to be famous. The problem was though, that they'd never asked Roxy if she wanted to be famous. If they had they would have received a big fat NO. Instead, Roxy just made sure to screw them all up on purpose, because she actually was really talented and usually got the parts she was auditioning for whenever she did try.
She giggled again when Sawyer when into her voice and what she was going to say. "That's perfect!" Roxy said. She quickly drew the stick figure with the paint when Sawyer insisted she hurry up. But there was one more thing she wanted to do!! She ran over to where Shelby Grant's locker was. Shelby was the only freshman on the cheerleading squad and she acted like that made her a Queen or something. She was always so rude to everyone else and Roxy couldn't stand her. Lucky, she knew which locker was Shelby's though.... With her paintbrush still dripping she scrawled out 'You're Next' across Shelby's locker. But just as she was finishing she heard the door creak open. She bolted to where Sawyer was.
"They're coming!" she whispered. "Where are we hiding?!?" She was a little frantic, not wanting to get caught as certainly it would mean detention for the rest of the school year which was not something that Roxy was looking forward to, even if that detention would be with Sawyer who was awesome and she knew she'd have fun with despite punishment. The goal was still not to get caught and Roxy looked around wildly making she the coast was clear as she followed the other girl into hiding....

Sawyer beamed at Roxy's compliment about her having the skill and then nodded excitedly when she thought about throwing things through her friend Thad's window. Sawyer hadn't hung out with Thad just yet but from what she heard from Roxy, he sounded pretty awesome! Anyone who played pranks and had Cotton as their last name had to be pretty awesome. In her humble opinion that is. "Breaking windows...which reminds me, we need to open one a crack so when the wind blows it'll sound like the windows are rattling, good idea no?" Sawyer gripped on to a bench before hoisting herself up onto the upper ledge and straight to the high windows. Courtesy of climbing trees as a childhood, Sawyer was nimble and could make herself practically weightless and like a monkey. She was quite proud of herself for making it all the way up to the window and pushed it ever so slightly, just enough to hear the wind blowing like a whistle through the tiny gap. It sounded like howling and Sawyer thought that would fit right into their plan perfectly. Swinging down to the floor, dropping next to Roxy, Sawyer controlled her fits of giggles when Roxy wrote "You're Next" on a random locker. Sawyer didn't know it was Shelby Grant's but even if she did, she would have thought it was pretty cool anyways. When they heard the door creak open and the chatter of girls were heard, Sawyer would have panicked if Sawyer was type to panic but she wasn't so she grabbed Roxy and ran through the maze of lockers until she found a perfect site for them to hide. It was close enough to the door so they could bolt when they were done and far enough so no one would think of bumping into them there. Sawyer grinned when she heard a shriek. "Thaaaat's riiiiight...I'm baaaaaack." Sawyer controlled her laughing when she heard gasps before she repeated what she had gone through with Roxy and she could hear the girls panicking. She grabbed her slingshot and aimed at one of the shower heads which exploded and did what Sawyer thought it would, having a domino effect on all the other shower heads. She switched off the megaphone and told Roxy to grab hold of the paint, making sure it was shut tight. As they were exiting the lockers, Sawyer caught sight of Ella D'Agustino who wasn't wet or panicking. She was actually grinning and Sawyer waved at her before running helter skelter out of the locker and when they were at a safe distance, the redheaded freshman looked at Roxy and burst into peals of giggles, dropping down to the grass in all her laughing. [OOC: If ya wanna continue and have them get caught or something, that would be super awesome ]

Roxy had to bite the insides of her cheeks to keep from giggling as Sawyer spoke into the mega-phone. She could hear the shrieks of the cheerleaders too which was extra funny. One of the cheerleaders saw them though and Roxy's brown eyes widened, stricken with fear, only this girl seemed to think it was funny! Oh thank goodness they'd only been caught by someone who didn't care!
She followed Sawyer...running away and escaping as fast as they could. The only problem was that the paint hadn't been shut as tightly as she'd thought and there was a trail of red droplets leading right to where they stood, obliviously giggling over their prank. Roxy dropped down in the grass behind Sawyer, "That was sooooo awesome!" she exclaimed. "I was sooo scared when that girl saw us, I thought she was going to rat us out for sure! We were SO lucky she didn't seem to care," Roxy said as she placed the paint on the ground, noticing the trail she left for the first time.
---back in the locker room--- The cheerleaders were screaming. It was hard to tell whether they believed it was actually a ghost or kids playing pranks on them, but either way, they were all screaming. Everything was going off without a hitch. The coach ran in to see what all the commotion was and Shelby Grant was the first to run over to her. "Someone is playing a trick on us again!" Shelby whined, "And they are threatening me! Mine is the only locker that says that!" she whined more as she pointed at her locker.
"Don't worry girls," the coach said. "We'll get who did this," she assured them. --------------------
"Uh...oh," Roxy said, pointing it out. "We better run!!" She jumped up, ready to ditch the paint and make a run for it, but before she could, a loud and sharp voice stopped her dead in her tracks. "Where do you think you girls are going?" the voice of the cheerleading coach snapped.
Roxy glanced over a Sawyer, the look of guilt apparent on her face. She was going to be in soooooooooooooo much trouble!

Laughing, Sawyer shook her head when Roxy mentioned Ella spotting them. "If she knew our plans earlier, she would have helped!" But no sooner was she getting high on the adrenaline rush, it got burnt rather quickly by the realisation that they were about to get caught when Roxy pointed out her mistake. Just when they were about to run, a harsh voice froze both of them and Sawyer slowly turned around to find the cheerleading coach staring them down.
Instinctively, she grabbed Roxy's hand and squeezed it. "Oh you know...just enjoying the air. Very nice air..." she waved one hand around in the air to emphasise on it but her whole body jerked when the coach barked. "Vandalism, girls. You're lucky Principal Masterson isn't here or she will be very very upset with this."
"You have no proof!" Sawyer bellowed dramatically. Not one to take things too seriously, she continued messing around with the coach, making some of the drenched cheerleaders actually giggle when the coach turned red. "You will report to school early tomorrow to deal with your punishment with Principal Masterson!" The coach threatened before walking away in a huff.
"Boy, doesn't she have her knickers in a bunch." Sawyer nudged Roxy who looked really down. "Oh come on, Rox...it's not like they can do anything about it!" Sawyer tried to lighten her mood when even the cheerleaders had dispersed. She of course had never been grounded before. Mostly because it was hard for her to get caught doing something this major. She didn't know Roxy was worried about getting grounded, let alone getting grounded again.
"You wanna get some ice cream? Might as well bulk up for tomorrow."

Roxy had to admit that Sawyer's antics were quite funny. Despite her despair over getting caught and all that...she really did want to laugh. If Roxy had been more on her game, more quick on her feet, she knew she could have talked her way out of it. Convinced the coach that it wasn't them. But from the moment she'd heard her voice, she'd frozen...standing there and taking the blame and not even trying to refute it.
The coach took down their names, to ensure it was them that showed up at the principal's office. There was no use lying about it either because a bunch of the cheerleaders had followed her out to watch them get punished, and while the cheerleading coach didn't know Roxy and Sawyer, a number of the girls on the team did. Shelby particularly seemed out to get them, sure to make sure they'd gotten the maximum punishment. Maybe writing on her locker hadn't been the best of ideas...
As the coach walked off the other cheerleaders followed, almost as if they were walking in a formation. Shelby stayed back one moment, long enough to sneer at them, "You two are SO dead," she snapped at them before turning on her heel and joining the other girls.
Roxy let out a sigh. Sawyer still didn't seem to get it...the whole they were in loads of trouble. "There's a lot they can do about it," she said. "We're going to be in sooo much trouble," Roxy said. "I bet we get suspended or something," Roxy said, pouting a little. "And when my parents find out about this...I'm totally going to be grounded for like a month," she said with a sigh.
But Roxy did perk up when Sawyer mentioned iced cream. "Oh! Yum! Let's do that!" she said. "This is probably going to be my last day of freedom so let's enjoy it!" she smiled. She was still a bit upset in the whole getting caught thing...but at the same time thought that what they'd done had kind of been worth it...

When Shelby stepped back from the seemingly one-minded automatons and threatened Sawyer, the redheaded freshman just laughed. Ella raised an eyebrow at their youngest recruit before turning to the two girls. "You two ought to have been more careful." The older Gould said before breaking into a grin. "But that was some masterpiece." She shook her head in amusement before walking away.
Sawyer turned to Roxy and frowned. "You two are SO dead!" she mimicked the blonde cheerleader in a high pitched voice before laughing. "Isn't she a drama queen." Sawyer waved it off and slipped her hand through the crook of Roxy's arms and swooped down to grab at the paint can, making sure it was tightly sealed before walking off to the bus stop.
"I can imagine my sundae now. Three scoops of ice cream. I'm getting triple chocolate chunk, rocky road and butterscotch! With almonds and hot chocolate fudge. I wonder if they have those triangle wafer thingies dipped in chocolate. I love those. And rainbow sprinkles! Maybe I'll get those chocolate mint shavings...what about you?" Sawyer didn't even let Roxy answer before going off on a tangent about watching a movie.
She didn't stop talking all the way to the ice cream shop and when they parted ways, Sawyer gave Roxy a huge hug. "I hope you don't get into too much trouble with your parents. But see you tomorrow! I'll come over with my dad to pick you up so we can go together. Okay, bye!" Sawyer waved as she got on the bus to go home.
