Kenzie laughed, "Lana its a ranch if your not used to living on one, you may get bored very easily. Or you may get roped into doing some horse riding with the rest of the family. I'm not sure you would enjoy that much, but you have to have something to do when I am out riding." Kenzie said to her with a shrug. "Its the main reason I go home, riding here isn't as much of a challenge as it is on terrain that is almost always changing." Kenzie said. "The most challenging thing we get here is the roads and thats kind of an even surface." he added. "Oh and silly buggers who like honking their horns at us as we go by, not realising or maybe just not caring how dangerous spooking a horse can be for the rider on the horse." Kenzie said. "Anyway even if you don't ride them, your get to meet the friendly ones most of which you can give an apple or carrot and they'll be yours for life." Kenzie explained.
It was a foreign concept to him that any one didn't like to get on the back of a horse, he had done it from a young age, but then again he had lived on ranches for a good portion of his life. To him his horse was like a dog to most people, his pet and companion. He probably spent more time in the company of his horse than he did with his own family.
When Lana jumped on his back he grabbed her legs to keep her on his back with am humph of surprise he lurched forward slightly before laughing. "Are you trying to kill me?" he asked with a smile over his shoulder. "My back isn't designed for such sudden impacts like that you know, how would I get any sleep with a dodgy back?" he asked with a grin as he picked up the pace of his walk to a heavy walk. "Hamburger and ice cream for the lady, I'll have to introduce you to the wonders of peanut butter on pizza at some point to." he added with an insane smile.
