Jamie and Grayson had the best friendship. They slept together, literally, without sleeping together. Which was great. He was not some pervy boy that tried to get in her pants. Jamie was thankful for that. Grayson seemed to be different. He confided in her and she confided in him. HE really was becoming one of her best friends. Which is why she had the best idea. An anti prom. Sure they were sophomore's and not even allowed to go to prom in the first place, but thats was the point for the Anti prom.
Jamie was actually at Grayson's house to tell him all about her idea and how they could pull it off. Just the two of them having their own anti prom. Jamie even used the door this time. Smiling at Grayson's mom. "Is Gray here?" Unfortunately he was out. Jamie wondered where he was, "Can I wait for him in his room? I'm Jamie" She asked with a soft, sweet, and innocent smile, which Grayson's mom seemed to eat up with a spoon.
"I know who you are dear. I have heard a great deal about you. You may go." Grayson's mom said. Jamie just smiled and walked by his mom, she said hi to his sister and handed her a few magazines Jamie had finished, and she knew the sister liked cause she had seen them laying around. Yes, brownie points were nice to gain.
Jamie walked into Grayson's room and put her bag down then flopped onto his bed. She turned on the TV and started snacking on some chips and waited. And waited until Grayson finally came home. "Look what the cat dragged in. Your mom let me wait." Jamie said with a smile. "How was you evening so far...cause I bet it just got better with me here." She joked.

[OOC: LOL I kind of thought Jamie had already met Gray's mom once or twice >.<]
The past few months had been slightly awkward between Gray and his father. Ray had tried to communicate with the family in the best manner possible and it looked like even Daisy was reciprocating. Gray could see the hope returning to her eyes. She even lights up when their mom mentioned Ray was coming over. Gray was scared for Daisy. And himself. Because he was also feeling the hope returning.
It didn't help that his mother looked forward to Ray's visits as well. They were all beginning to fall into a pattern. A family one. And that scared Gray. There were way too many what ifs in the situation and he did not like what ifs. He had even cut down on getting high and that made things between him and Jamie that much clearer. To him at least. He didn't know what the guy version of having a crush was but damn it, he was having it hard.
Jamie wasn't just a girl he got high with. They were developing a relationship beyond friendship and Gray was beginning to see her as something more than a friend. He was starting to look forward to sleeping with Jamie in his arms, warm and soft and waking up to her was even better. She no longer left before he woke up. And he looked forward to waking up.
"Hey sweetie, Jamie's upstairs." Gray's mom pecked him on the cheek as he walked through the door and his smile widened. "Cool." Gray reciprocated his mother's kiss and ran up the stairs to find Jamie on his bed snacking away. A grin flickered on his face as she turned to him. "I think it just did." He said, ignoring the fact that she was teasing him. He slipped into bed next to her and stole her chips. "So my mom knows you're here which means you actually went with the door this time. I am quite proud of you." He chuckled. "So what are we watching?"

(OOC: I figured she did too, but the reason for the name is cause she is intimidated by actually knowing Gray's mom, so she feels the need to always introduce herself to be polite. Since she is usually discovered climbing through the window except this one time.)
"I know right. I figured I would be civil for once. Your mom and your sister were impressed to." Jamie said smirking. "You look like you are in a good mood. That must mean you were just with a girl, got a new stash or saw your dad." Jamie guessed. Of course she could be totally wrong and for the life of her she prayed it was not the first option. she never should have said the first option, but Jamie did that in hopes she could find out if Gray was entertaining any women or not. call it her jealous side speaking.
The last few months had turned their relationship in a sort of comfort zone for Jamie. She liked being like they were. Getting high, talking, hanging out, literally falling asleep in each others arms. it was nice. For once she had a guy who knew the meaning of respect. Did she wish a little more would happen? Well who wouldn't, so the answer was yes, but Jamie was not about to force the issue down gray's throat. if it happened great. If not she could be content...for now.
"So I had a wicked idea. An anti prom. Just the two of us. Since the school is being ageist and only letting juniors and Seniors go, i say we have out own celebration. We can invite people and make it a party or it can be just you an I, some music, stupid decorations, silly clothes and lots of weed and fun." Jamie said with a smile. She scooted closer to Gray and looked up at him. "I think it could be wicked fun."

Gray laughed at Jamie's assumption before shrugging. "It could totally mean I was getting high with a girl at my dad's place." He teased. If he had known what Jamie was thinking, he would have handled the situation more carefully. As it were, he just went with what he thought was appropriate for their kind of friendship. "But that would actually mean telling my dad I smoke weed but somehow I highly doubt that would go down well." The dark haired sophomore chuckled in amusement.
"An anti prom huh," Gray mused as he tried to imagine himself with Jamie, just like that they always were anyway. When she snuggled close to him, Gray instinctively wrapped his arms around her, pulling her even closer that she was practically on top of him, her one leg slung over his with her arm draped across his stomach. "Could be fun." He shrugged. "We do that anyway. And no, no people. Probably Eden and Ben? At least they'll have their own stash and I only have to share mine with you. Do not like to share weed."
Speaking of which, Gray slipped out two fat ones from his pocket and was about to light it up when his mom poked her head in. "Oh...uh...sorry did I-"
It was good that he was fast in hiding the incriminating evidence and all she saw was him and Jamie tangled up in bed...though that wasn't exactly a good position to be in considering Gray's mom didn't even know Jamie and Gray were involved. Not that they were but the compromising position they were in kind of gave some vibes to Gray's mother Jenna who was grinning from ear to ear.
"I should have knocked but uh," it was obvious that she was trying hard not to laugh at the two teenagers who were trying to untangle themselves from each other. "Dinner's ready and um, Jamie you can stay if you want. Unless you'd rather climb out the window?" Jenna let out a little giggle. Of course she knew Jamie's habits. She knew a lot about Jamie which was why she was surprised to have seen the teenager go through the front door this time.
"Mom...we'll come down later. Could you please..." Gray was obviously embarrassed as he sat on the edge of his bed, further away from Jamie.

The statement was a bit painful in the fact Jamie didn't want it to be true, which is why the next statement made Jamie feel a lot better. Although she had sort of asked for it. She did bring up Gray being with a female first. Jamie should have known better. She knew Grayson's joking ways and should not be shocked he would have said that. Which is why she hit his chest lightly and laughed. "You never change." She smirked.
Jamie settled in nicely with her leg over Grayson's and arm around his waist with her chin on his rock hard chest. She rather liked sitting like this, "I assume things with your dad are good." She said. "I hope so." She told him honestly. "which is why I think this prom idea is great. Eden and Ben can be invited assuming they are not going to prom. They are juniors." Jamie pointed out. "Aren't you sweet for sharing your weed with me. You should be rewarded for that."
Jamie leaned up getting her face closer to Grayson's and thats when Grayson's mom walked in. Right as she was about to tease Grayson with a fake kiss move. It looked really bad and Jamie actually froze. It was Grayson who got them out of the compromising position. She gave Jenna one of those embarrassed smiles as she brushed some hair from her face. "I figured I would give the window and the tree a break. Plus your front door looks so much more inviting." Jamie joked with nervous laughter.
"Thank you Ms. Shepard, can't wait to eat it, It smelled good when i first showed up." Jamie commented as Jenna left the room. She was still in the middle of the bed as Gray was at the corner. "Well that was fun. So wanna smoke first or eat then smoke?" Jamie asked as if nothing just happened.

[OOC: Thought it would be fun to uh...throw in a little wrench! >.< Have fun replying!]
Jenna chuckled at Jamie's words before closing the door, leaving Gray sitting at the corner of his bed trying to understand what the hell just happened and why he was so damn uncomfortable. Nothing was going on between them. They were friends. Nothing more. Right? And Jamie's nonchalance over all of it just confirmed what he was thinking. He blew out a sigh of relief and turned to grin at Jamie. "Eat. You really think I'm going to smoke on an empty stomach?" He grabbed Jamie by the wrist and hoisted her up on his back.
"You're lucky I like you, Winchester." Gray was glad they had the whole back to front space thing between them if not Jamie would have been given a full view of his slight frown. He put up a grin when they were in the living room where Daisy was currently occupying. Dumping Jamie on to the couch, he tickled Daisy, making her mess up her art which caused her to whine and called out to their mom. "This was my masterpiece, doofus!" And for a few minutes, Gray played tag with his little sister around the house much to Jenna's and Daisy's dismay.
But they did stop. When Jenna announced the roast beef was on the table. Obviously Gray was the first one in his chair. He beckoned for Jamie to sit with them and started on their dinner. "So dad was planning a trip for us over the summer." Jenna started and Gray could see Daisy light up. Gray controlled his delight, not wanting to show Jamie just how childishly excited he was right then. "Yeah, where to?"
"Disney World." The two words brought a huge squeal from Daisy who started dancing in her chair. "No way!" she clapped her hands and looked at Gray who chuckled. It wasn't the perfect destination for a sixteen year old boy but hey, Daisy was happy. That meant the elder Shepherd was happy. It had been a long time since he saw Daisy that happy. "You're welcome to join us, Jamie. Provided your uncle and aunt let you?" Jenna offered to Jamie. Gray almost choked on his broccoli as he looked at his mother.
"Mom...she's still a sophomore." He stumbled over his words. Wasn't the whole inviting people over for summer vacation a couple thing? What was his mother thinking?! "I mean...it would be fun having your skinny butt around but, what about your parents...right?" What was Jamie thinking now? She's probably freaked out as well. How could she not be? She probably knew the implications as well!

(OOC: Nu you are great. You always find a way to make me have to think of a good reply, I love it. Oh and btw, I loved the Isaac thread you did. I will have a Peyton one too to show her and Todd's reaction)
Jamie smirked when the awkward moment of silence seemed to be broken by Grayson being Grayson. Jamie laughed as he hoisted her up on his back. She wrapped her arms around him tightly to ensure she would not fall, but as a result her hands were touching his upper chest. Which of course caused Jamie to tremble slightly. She felt as if her blood was on fire. However, she knew she needed to ignore it. "You are lucky to know me. I am the only one who will put up with your high ass." She laughed as Grayson headed to the living room with her.
Jamie was laughing as he plopped her down on the couch, "You have a good slave..I mean son here." Jamie joked. She watched Grayson and his sister interact and it caused her to laugh. "my money in on Daisy. I think she can take you. Your brother is very ticklish." Jamie winked at Daisy. Sure it was Grayson doing the tickling but still. Jamie could say it right.
She watched the fun game of tag or what ever it was called as she settled into the couch until it was time for dinner. Jamie got up and joined everyone at the table. She sat next to Grayson. "This food is very good." She told Jenna. Her Australian accent always very noticeable. She sipped her water as Gray, Jenna and Daisy discussed Disney World.
Jamie did not see the invite coming. Not one bit. She almost chocked on her water when Jenna asked. She eyed Grayson when he spoke and then she sipped her water again. A moment of silence seemed to fill the table, or perhaps it just seemed like that to Jamie.
She was not freaking out over the invitation, she was freaking out over the face she really wanted to go and be with Grayson. That actually scared her. Those feels scared her, but how could she say no. " I am sure my parents would not mind letting me bug you and your family. It would give my Aunt and Uncle a break." Jamie smirked. "I would love to. Thank you for inviting me. When would you leave? For how long?" She asked. "I will talk to my Aunt and Uncle tonight, they will probably want to meet with you as well just to discuss details, but I don't see why they would say no. I can pay my own way." Jamie said.
She had never been on a vacation with another family, and besides Jamie figured Gray might enjoy having her around since his dad would be there and all. "This skinny butt is going to make sure you do not chicken out on any rides." She said. She took another bit smiling. She eyed Grayson once more and something seemed off, but she could not figure out what. Jamie leaned over and nudged him with her shoulder and whispered, "you okay?" She made sure only he could hear it.

[OOC: Awww -blushes- And I can't wait for the reaction thread!!]
Gray was surprised to find Jamie actually agreeing to the invite. She didn't even hesitate. And she was even asking him if he was okay. What was going on? Did he miss a meeting his brain decided to have without him? She was talking so normally with his mom like it was a trip to the store. On the one hand, Gray was sure he was pretty stoked to have the dark haired Aussie tag along with them. It would make for exciting company and a smoking buddy but at the same time, he had to admit that it was going to be scary. His mom and dad were going to be there and that meant questions. Lots and lots of questions.
He had to stop overthinking this. Lots of friends went on vacations together. Lots of friends didn't have strong feelings about the friends they went on vacations with. And Gray had it bad for Jamie, that's for sure. What if things didn't work out? What if Gray and Jamie had a falling out during the vacation? They couldn't very well send her back home alone. Then her aunt and uncle would be asking the questions. Damn it, this always happened when he was sober. Why did he choose to eat first?
"Gray, hellooo." Daisy was waving her hand and snapping her fingers in front of Gray's face, making him swat her hand. "Earth to space cadet where did you go?" Daisy giggled. Gray chuckled and looked at Jamie sideways before smiling at his mom and sister. "What were we talking about?" He asked before shoveling forkfuls of mashed potatoes into his mouth. When Jamie nudged him and asked if he was okay one more time, he nodded and chuckled, nudging her back. "Course I am. Why wouldn't I be? Got my best mate with me don't I?"
Dinner was over and after a bout of water spraying...dish washing in layman terms, according to Gray's mother, Gray and Jamie went upstairs and Gray made sure the door was locked. He usually didn't but he didn't want his mom to see him smoking with Jamie. Or sleeping with her. Cracking the window open so the fresh night air would waft in and bring out the sweet smell of their stash, Gray climbed into bed and once again produced two sticks and handed one to Jamie.
Lighting both sticks up, Gray settled into his bed and looked as Jamie looked for a place to fall. "Sorry about earlier. Got a lot of things on my mind," he stated, not wanting Jamie to get the wrong idea. He really did want her to come along. It was just weird. He was starting to harbour some really strong feelings for the girl. Feelings he didn't care for before this. He didn't want it to be awkward with Jamie. She was an excellent friend, great company. He didn't want to lose that if things get sour.
Once again he was thinking too much so he took a long drag from his stick and let the smoke cloud his thoughts. Soon, he started talking about purple elephants.

Jamie's heart wanted to jump out of her chest at the very thought of being invited to go some where with Grayson and his family. It truly made her feel special. However, it did not help her feelings from stopping. They were growing. Which scared Jamie, perhaps she needed a break from Grayson, but then she knew she would miss him too much. She would miss smoking, sleeping in his bed and talking to his family, on the rare occasions when she did.
Jamie continued to eat in order to contain her growing excitement. She laughed at Grayson and Daisy, but the fact he zoned out scared her. She kept thinking what if he changed his mind and asked her not to go, did he even want her to go? now she was over thinking things. She didn't want Grayson to know she said yes cause she liked him...and liked him a lot.
"Not sure you are my best mate." Jamie winked kidding around. She finished dinner and helped Grayson with the dishes, "It's nice to see you so domesticated.' She smirked and then followed Grayson upstairs. She walked into his room and over to the window to feel the breeze. She took one of the sticks and took a hit. "Care to talk about what's on your mind? Maybe I can help. I was once told I am a good listener when I am high."
Jamie took another hit then climbed onto the bed and over to Grayson. It was hard to stay away from him. She could never be on one edge and then the other. She had to be close to him. Be in his arms or at least able to touch Grayson. She smiled at him as she took another hit. Her body curled next to hers. "Come on..if you can't talk to me, then who can you talk to?"

Her offer to 'talk' didn't really register in Gray's mind. He was already out of it and started talking riddles. When she climbed in next to him, he just casually slung an arm around her as he continued to smoke up. "Always thought Narnia was in my closet." He said slowly before crawling out of bed and to the closet, opening it up but only seeing his clothes. He dug deeper and pushed through but only hit his head on the wall before landing on his butt backwards.
It caused the boy to laugh uncontrollably, tears rolling down the side of his face. He couldn't stop the laughing for awhile and when he finally did, he tried to get back up on the bed but it was too springy and he could see Jamie bouncing around. "Oh that looks like fun." Gray literally jumped on the bed and let the bouyancy of the bed lull him. It didn't take long for him to feel super sleepy.
"If only Dorothy would bring Toto back to me." He mumbled before giggling. Wanting to take a long drag from his blunt, he found that he had run out. Flipping on to his front, he looked at Jamie with her half and reached out. "If you loved me you'd let me take a drag." He fluttered his eyelashes at Jamie.
