Amy was aware of what Landon was about to do even before she did it. The smile was a big indication of it but it didn't stop Amy from being completely surprised by the kiss. It was different than the times when she made out with Miquel. So much more different. Landon's lips were softer, a lot more pliant and less demanding. Not to say Amy didn't enjoy being kissed by Miquel, far from it really. But kissing Landon had its own set of exquisiteness.
It ended just as fast as it began, leaving Amy's lips slightly parted and her eyes glazed over. It took the blond some time to regain a semblance of consciousness and even then she had no idea what to say. With Miquel it had been simple because it was a kiss shared by a boy and girl, something standard in Amy's mind. She had been working hard on trying to figure out why it excited her; this kiss was shared with two people of the same gender. She had been conflicted when it came to her questionable preferences and this just confused her even more.
What did this mean? Did she like girls and boys? Or did it mean nothing? It was just a kiss. Just a kiss that had made her heart beat fast and her body fire up. No, it wasn't just a kiss. Yet she was afraid to say anything about it. Funny how such a care free girl among boys would suddenly clam up when her lips were pressed by another girl's. She bit her lips, not realising their hands were still intertwined.
After much contemplation, she looked up at Landon and gulped. "I," she started without much of a middle. Or an ending really. What was she to say? She was completely confused by it. She wanted to do it again but she thought it was wrong. Then, her thoughts went to questioning why it was wrong. It was just a kiss. Again with the word just. Amy looked back up at Landon, her hand unconsciously squeezing Landon's. "I don't know what to say." She finally admitted.

Landon looked at the other girl as she reached up and tucked some dark hair behind her ear. "It's okay...I mean...I guess....I was just wrong," Landon said. She smiled. "I won't like, tell anyone if you're embarrassed it happened," she went on, "I mean everyone knows I just do whatever but I don't want to drag you into it if you're not comfortable...." Landon trailed off, not really sure what to make of it all. She was sure that she and Amy had had a moment...and Amy still was grasping her hand....why was she still holding her hand... With their intertwined hands, Landon slowly brushed her thumb back and forth along Amy's palm. She gave Amy a sideways look as the blonde's eyes were still bewildered. "Or do I have it right?" she asked. "You confuse me Amy Baker," Landon giggled. She leaned in once more, this time parting her lips, attempting to deepen the kiss to see if Amy went for it or pushed her away. ---- Kayla walked along with her brother. They'd been out most of the day but now it was late and their parents were most likely going to kill her older brother for keeping Kayla out so late on a school night. The siblings weren't really rushing though...late was late, and wasn't really going to make a difference. As they walked--they needed to make it all the way through the park before they reached the car--Amy spotted a bicycle in the bushes. The front tire was flat so it looked like someone had just discarded it there, as if a flat tire was a reason to get rid of a perfectly good bike. Kayla's brother laughed, "Want a new bike?" he teased. Kayla knelt down beside it discovering a nail in the front tire. "It looks like my friend Amy's bike," Kayla said standing up. It was at that moment that Kayla noticed a blonde that looked remarkably like Amy from all the way across the park. It was hard to tell because they were pretty far away, but it looked like Amy. "I think that's her," she said. She picked up the bike. "We should bring this to her," she said as she started to push it along with her as they now veered toward Amy, who was with a brunette. Kayla kept her eyes on the girls as she continued closer with the bicycle. Her eyes widened as she saw the girls kiss. Heat rose to her cheeks as her brother made some comment about it that Kayla couldn't even make out cause she was so overwhelmed what she'd just witnessed. "Shut up," was all she said, still moving closer although she was rather embarrassed now. Amy kissed girls? What if she didn't want her bike? What if Kayla was just interrupting.... Kayla bit down on her lower lip. The girls were talking now...but still holding hands. She'd just ask about the bike and leave....it wouldn't be bad, right? But as Amy reached the couple the girls began to kiss again. "Um...foundthisbikethinkit'syours!" Kayla said so quickly that it was impossible to disguise her words. "BYE!" she said as she left the bike there only the kickstand was broken and the bike hit the ground with a loud clang. "Let's just go...I don't want to interrupt," Kayla said, grabbing her brother she began to walk quickly away, pulling him with her. ------ Landon pulled away from their second kiss as the bike hit the ground. "Oh! It's back!" she said. "It's a miracle!" she said twirling around and twirling Amy with her. "That is your bike...right?" she asked. "I think they dropped it off for you," she said pointing to Kayla and her brother, although only the backs of their heads were visible. "Hooray!" Landon grinned. Tag for Wrap? I left the second kiss vague so you can fill in whatever Amy decided to do with it. You don't have to talk to Kayla...I just thought it would be fun to torture her a bit

Even Amy knew they were having a moment. It was pretty obvious. She finally realised that they were holding hands. And she didn't want to let go. Amy was having a hard time thinking properly what with Landon slowly caressing her palm. The second kiss came a bit more naturally and this time Amy reciprocated. Just like she always did with Miquel, the way she kissed Landon didn't differ from how she kissed her best friend. It was only different because Amy had a hard time knocking it into her head that she was kissing a girl. Miquel would have a field day with this.
They were in public and Amy was kissing a girl and somehow it didn't bother her as much as she thought it would. Sure she felt weird doing something like this in public due to the stigma that surrounded the act but it just felt right. It felt good too. Really good. One hand reached up to cup Landon's cheek, pulling her closer as Amy moved on the bench. The area of the pier they were both in was pretty dark but Amy knew if anyone looked hard enough, they could see what was happening.
A loud clang and the familiar voice that came with it startled Amy who turned to look as her bike suddenly appeared with a couple rushing off away from it. Was that...? Oh no. No, no, no. That can't be Kayla could it? Amy started cursing inwardly as she shot off the bench only to stumble over her fallen bike. The couple who had dropped off the bike was long gone by the time Amy got up and cleaned herself. If that was Kayla, that would mean an awkward next day in school.
What was she thinking, making out with a girl in public? That was probably the problem. She wasn't thinking. She just did it because it felt good and right. But when she turned to face Landon, she felt ashamed. "Landon," she bit her lower lip as she bent down to bring her bike up. "I have to go. I can't..." she paused and wondered what was it that she can't. "I'll see you in school." She ducked her head and rushed off with her semi-broken bike.
Oh tomorrow would be hell in school.
[OOC: Wrap it like a burrito! Enjoyed this thread thoroughly and I LOVE THAT KAYLA GOT IN ON ALL THE ACTION!!]
